Re: Twisted Metal Creator Hurt by Sony Snub Over Rumoured New Game

Stragen8

Lolol this guy does it to himself. This is exactly why Sony won’t work with him. Game business of today and budgets of today can’t afford people like this as a liability for bad PR.

Didn’t he work on the last Twisted Metal game that no one bought anyways? Maybe it’s time for someone else to steer the ship. I have no idea what this guy has done since PS2 days.

Re: Naughty Dog's Multiplayer Game Described as Cinematic Experience Between Players

So many people forget that ND has been shipping multiplayer tie-ins since 2009. TLOU2 was the first game that didn’t have it bundled in. They are experienced with making multiplayer games, that translate very well from the Single player experience. U3 was very well received in terms of its multiplayer. It’s a shame they abandoned U4 after how much support they gave 3 and Factions.

Potential spoilers below.

I got as far as the part where I had some ‘strange person that looks VERY familiar’ handed me to deliver a…..let’s call it a ‘boombox’.

Can anyone tell me how far I am into the game? I’ve been meaning to get back into it….but it wasn’t that fun besides the cool looking bosses and cutscenes haha.

It mainly stinks for Joirnalists and people that frequent this site alone for news like me. On one hand it’s exciting opening up PushSquare to find some awesome announcement! But on the other hand, when it’s always random, I find myself going here less and less versus when I know it’ll be a big blowout weeek of news.

Re: In the UK, 96% of Dark Alliance's Physical Sales Were on PS5, PS4

@mrtennis1990 I agree it can’t be sustainable for the platform holders or the developers (since many move on from games so quickly and never go back).

However, from a consumer standpoint with limited budget, I gotta see where the best value for my money is and currently there’s a CLEAR winner. I don’t regret my PS5 purchase but once Xcloud is running on mobile or PC, that’s gonna be a go to for me if a game is launched there

It’ll be interesting as the generation goes along, if Sony can command a huge lead like they did with PS4 they can probably get away without a Gamepass alternative. However, I think more and more people are seeing huge value in the subscription.

I’m the target audience for DA, had the original on GameCube and so this was a day 1 buy for me. But if I had both and Xbox and PS, I’d have just used a Gamepass subscription for 1 month because I doubt I’ll play this game longer then a month.

Re: PS4 Exclusives Prove Popular for PC Players on PS Now

@Snake_V5 Im not sure if you played each of them on release or in the collection pack, but for me, I played each at release and Uncharted 2 was such a step up over U1 and blew so many other games of that era out of the water, especially for action/adventure and storytelling. (Even during the era of tacked on multiplayer, U2’s was fantastic!)

U3 had better set pieces and graphics and multiplayer. But I felt like the story was a lot more muddy and all over the place. I was overhyped at the time and was really disappointed by it. It wasn’t as big of a jump like U1 to U2 was and the series was coming off of this stellar reputation from U2. For me U2 was the pinnacle of the series. (U4 just seemed to drag a bit once you get to the island)
