Re: This Is How NBA 2K21 Looks on PS5

Wow - last time I’ve played a sports game was when crowds were pixelated cardboard cutouts that all moved the same way hahaha. We’ve come a long way since the GameCube days.

Re: This Is What a Bloodborne PS5 Remaster Could Look Like

@Salohcin I never could either - but I managed to beat Bloodborne a few years ago. The best part of that game is the summoning bell. I loved the lore and gameplay, but personally never enjoyed getting wrecked by bosses, so I’d go on Reddit and get someone to help with use of the summoning bell.

I’ve had people call me out that it’s ‘cheating’ but whatever, I had a ton of fun doing all the rest of the areas by myself. The generic enemies aren’t TOO hard after you get the hang of it. Plus I went back and helped other people with bosses once i beat the game and was leveled up!

@TrolleyProblems i think what we are getting at, is as we continue to move down this path we risk not being able to purchase these games and own them outright. We are locked into a subscription, and if they remove a game forever, it’s gone forever.

When I walk into my local Walmart, i don’t see Netflix shows as a DVD set that i can buy, and watch 20 years from now. (Yes many i can buy online, but how long until that changes?) 10 years ago, any show from a big provider was in my Walmart for me to buy. That’s a big change in a short period of time.

If my PS4 didn’t already have PT downloaded on it, I’d never be able to play it again. I prefer owning a disc of all my games so no corporate crap locks me out of playing them, no matter what the future holds.

@Shepherd_Tallon I’m worried about the exact same thing. As much as a i hate the 80$ price tag, I’d much rather own my game and play it for years versus locked into a sub which has my game and save data.

I still pull out my PS3 to play Oblivion once in awhile. Glad i don’t have to pay a 15$ sub the day i decide to bust it out to play for an hour.

This was an utter failure. The event was amazing, and Sony screwed up big time with so much post event. I can’t believe how badly pre orders went. Absolutely insane!

I have been a long time Sony fanboy, but there’s no defending this. I’m extremely disappointed - I guess on the bright side, Sony just saved me 500$ this year.

Re: PS5 Pre-Order Situation Is a Mess as Sony Sends Unclear Statement and Retailers Open Early

Stragen8

This is insane. ‘Pre order your pre order’ ‘we will give advanced notice’ ‘we believe in generations’

So much BS from them. This whole situation is a mess and terrible on their end. We still don’t even know the freaking UI, any type of update to PS Now, nothing.

If i manage a pre order, I’m selling this crap on EBay and getting my launch games 10$ cheaper on the PS4 until GOW2.
