Obviously there was going to be more Jin Sakai. He's a memorable character and has become a PlayStation mainstay, but I applaud them for taking the direction and risk they wanted with the distant sequel.
It's a great game, my only question is why are non CGI cutscenes pre-rendered. They use the same great in-house engine and take place in the same environment you are in. So the assets exist. Besides that, it's definitely one of my favorite games this year and one I was counting down the days until release.
Probably not more Edgerunners, but still great news. Netflix is supposedly working on a live action Cyberpunk series as well, but I'm not sure where that's at in development.
Honestly, I believe that we're still a couple of years behind because of Covid and these studios are under pressure to make money. But I would still rather have smaller or episodic games instead of backwards compatible PS4 games being remastered.
I have it on Vita, I just wonder if the console version will have an option for English voices. Bandai Namco has historically been pretty good about that.
So, can you still order it from Amazon and get the full game, or do you have to order directly from iam8bit and pay shipping to get the updated version.
Anyone remember Rent A Hero No. 1 that was supposed to come to both the Dreamcast and Xbox in the US but never did officially. I would love to play a remake of that.
@AK4tywill No, you can play the full game, you just have to look up the code to play it. It was a developer secret because they didn't know if a Timesplitters collection was going to be released at the time.
Maybe forget the live service stuff and bring back PlayStation Home with a full storefront. You could also bring a full version of EverQuest back to consoles. People love EverQuest.
Say what you want about single player games costing too much and taking to long to make. That's entirely on the industry to provide better tools. But PlayStation is known best for being a single player platform, except for Socom.
Maybe bring back Socom as a free to play shooter and charge for cosmetics. That's the best option.
While I love Argonaut games, especially Malice A Kat's Tale, I don't know why they are only bringing this up to PS2 quality. Why not add some shader effects in places and smooth out the objects.
Seriously just announce that you have created better tools and are working closer with developers to get games out faster. We don't need a hardware refresh this generation, we need more games that aren't just upgraded ports. Games look good enough.

Re: Underperforming XDefiant Pours More Misery on Embattled Publisher Ubisoft
Multiplayer live service shooters are the absolute worst investment right now. Have they not been paying attention to the market?
Re: Kojima's Next Big PlayStation Game Physint Will Take Some Time to Complete
I just would finally like to see some in-game footage of his transmedia horror project Amita.
Re: Over 10 Hours of Horizon Zero Dawn Dialogue Has Been Re-Recorded for PS5, PC
@wildcat_kickz Thanks for the reply mate. Cheers
Re: Over 10 Hours of Horizon Zero Dawn Dialogue Has Been Re-Recorded for PS5, PC
I'm fine paying $10 to upgrade my play at home Covid copy, but does anyone know if there will be a physical copy of this and Lego Horizon?
Re: The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 Will Both Look and Perform Better than Ever on PS5 Pro
Verge said that the Last of Us Part 2 looked less sharp in the PSSR mode than the PS5 4K30.

Re: Ubisoft Board Orders Internal Investigation and Review into Company's Financial Woes
Maybe finally cancel The Beyond Good and Evil 2 GaaS mess after all this time and bring back single player Tom Clancy games.
Re: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered Leaks for PS5, PS4
This actually makes sense because they are PS1 and PS2 games respectively. They aren't backwards compatible.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2?

Re: There Is a God! Netflix Is Bringing Us More Cyberpunk Anime
Probably not more Edgerunners, but still great news. Netflix is supposedly working on a live action Cyberpunk series as well, but I'm not sure where that's at in development.
Re: Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid During This Silent Hill 2 PS5 Immersion Trailer
So at this rate, I would guess I should save another $70 for the inevitable remaster next year with better trees.
Re: Mini Review: Reynatis (PS5) - Beautiful Action RPG Is Far Too Repetitive
Glad I canceled my pre-order with all the other games coming out this fall. The question is, how long until the 8k 120 fps remaster?
Re: Two Point Museum Will Hold Its Grand Opening in March 2025 on PS5
I'm guessing we will get a remastered 8K version in September.
Re: Mini Review: Mister Mosquito (PS2) - Sony Classic Sucks in All the Right Ways
Where's the remaster already?
Re: Reaction: Why There Are So Many Unnecessary PS5 Remasters for Games That Don't Need Them
Honestly, I believe that we're still a couple of years behind because of Covid and these studios are under pressure to make money. But I would still rather have smaller or episodic games instead of backwards compatible PS4 games being remastered.
Re: Rumour: Days Gone PS5 Remaster Speculation Starts to Spread
Seriously, can we just get some "new" games please!
Re: Two Point Museum Will Hold Its Grand Opening in March 2025 on PS5
I really want a Two Point shopping mall game or Shopping Mall Simulator after playing Dead Rising Remaster.
Re: Jaw-Dropping 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro Console and Accessories Will Bankrupt You
Still no disc drive, no thank you. I'll stick with my base PS5 disc edition with Last of Us faceplates.
Re: In an Unprecedented Twist, Sony Is Licensing Freedom Wars to Bandai Namco
@zidane4028
Day one purchase for me then. I would love to finally finish it.
Re: In an Unprecedented Twist, Sony Is Licensing Freedom Wars to Bandai Namco
English voice acting option?
Re: Stone-Cold PS Vita Classic Returns in Freedom Wars Remastered PS5, PS4
I have it on Vita, I just wonder if the console version will have an option for English voices. Bandai Namco has historically been pretty good about that.
Re: Play the Worst Ratchet & Clank on PS5, PS4 with PS Plus Premium
I actually really like Secret Agent Clank for what it is. It's not meant to be a full fledged Ratchet and Clank game.
Re: Zany PS Plus Oddity Mister Mosquito Is an Unmissable PS5, PS4 Addition
I would buy a physical edition version of this day one. The PS2 version is always so expensive besides the demo disc I own.
Re: Annapurna Will Reprint Wonky Outer Wilds: Archeologist Edition on PS5
So, can you still order it from Amazon and get the full game, or do you have to order directly from iam8bit and pay shipping to get the updated version.

Anyone remember Rent A Hero No. 1 that was supposed to come to both the Dreamcast and Xbox in the US but never did officially. I would love to play a remake of that.

@AK4tywill No, you can play the full game, you just have to look up the code to play it. It was a developer secret because they didn't know if a Timesplitters collection was going to be released at the time.
Re: Mini Review: TimeSplitters (PS2) - A Fantastic Foundation with Flaws
You can still play a fully remastered version of Timesplitters 2 if you buy Homefront The Revolution and enter a code.
Re: PS5 Pro Seemingly Teased in New 30th Anniversary Artwork
I won't buy it if it doesn't have a disc drive, nevermind that it's the most unnecessary console upgrade ever.
Re: Reaction: PlayStation Needs to Take a Long, Hard Look at Itself

Re: Preview: Slitterhead Has Its Jank, But Also Promise and Heart
Liam, or anyone who played it at Gamescom, does the game have English voice acting? I can't find information about it anywhere.
Re: Coveted, One-of-a-Kind Final Fantasy 7 LEGO Set Sold for a Ridiculous Sum
Not really anywhere near worth it. Maybe if it was the entire sector of Midgar from the beginning of the game I would pay $200 for it, maybe.
Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's PS5 Release Date Will Reportedly Break Cover Later This Year
Hopefully they will have more collectors editions available at release like South Park Snow Day. People are selling them for $600 right now.
