Re: Existence of 'Undisclosed' Rockstar VR Game Leaks via Actor’s Resume

@Gooseman42 Actually you don't realize that you are a part of a niche community. VR is still nowhere near good looking or running(unless you are on PC) to impress me or countless others. I have tried Alien Isolation, Skyrim and Alyx and imo the juice is not worth the squeeze. Unless VR games start getting much more complex I would rather play on my TV.

@thefourfoldroot1 I have enjoyed many types of games throughought my life, but enough is enough. Starfield, Red Dead 2 are the types of games that people should simp for not indie titles. There are plenty of non indie, open world games that are awful like AC and FC. It has nothing to with simply scope, but ambition and creativity.

@Hoodie718 Those types of games are always welcome, but they won't turn the PSVR2 into a must own device that will push VR forward. I just don't understand why you are okay with stagnation. We must constantly demand bigger and better games that offer less and less restrictions.

@thefourfoldroot1 I only have Quest 2 and I am frustrated by both Meta and Sony about how weak their commitment to VR is. If you continue doing the bare minimum you won't get the number of people you want over the hump. Just compare the titles that are coming to the PS5 and to the PSVR2. Now realize that the latter is costs twice as much and you can't connect it to a PC.

@Hoodie718 With that mentality VR will never grow. You are shooting yourself in the foot right at the start of the race. People won't simply use whatever you make. You need to earn their money and time.

@get2sammyb Maybe if there was more noise out there Sony would put more effort into their VR division so it can sprint instead of limp until the PS6 is out.

@thefourfoldroot1 You don't get COD and FIFA because God of War and Last of Us are so successful. It's actually the opposite. If the PSVR2 had massive titles to pump the numbers up that would allow studios to get the greenlight to start working on AAA games for the device just like there are many studios releasing big SP games for the regular consoles. It's really not rocket science.

@thefourfoldroot1 Actually you baffle me right now. The PS5 is a closed of system with a lot of limitations. it lives and dies by the big hitter games like COD, FIFA and to a lesser the extend the ~2 SP AAA game that Sony releases annually. The PSVR2 doubles the limitations, doubles the price and you are happy with less big games on the horizon? You live in a different reality.

@get2sammyb What exactly is the endgoal of the PSVR2? To be even more niche than the PSVR1? To leave no footprint on the medium? You can't possibly expect millions of people to look at the price tag, the roadmap and decide to invest.

@Hoodie718 Number of games doesn't mean anything. COD, FIFA, Last Of Us is what sells, not indie and AA stuff.
