Here in Australia, the PS Store lists the PS4 edition for $110 and the PS5 edition for $125 (rounding both up the 5c to even dollars). The difference is less than a Crispy Bacon & Cheese burger on GF bun from Grill’d. Is that really worth the highly passionate comments here?

If Sony feel haptic feedback, spatial audio, and Japanese voice/sync rework should cost a burger (without fries or drink) that’s their decision as a business to make.

If I don’t want to forego a burger and make myself a cheese sandwich to experience those enhancements, that’s my decision as a consumer to make.

(And personally, buying any game over say $80 AUD is tough to swallow for me, so I’ll be waiting until it’s on sale regardless. Plenty of back catalogue to keep me going until then!)

Adding my voice to the “would skip multiplayer, would absolutely dive headfirst into a sequel”. Control was one of my favourite games in recent memory, having platinumed it twice (and the PS5 Ultimate Edition is the way to experience it). If there’s more in the same theme I’d definitely be on board!

To the article - yeah the ACB is an absolute joke and nightmare where computer games are concerned (see also when they banned Silent Hill Homecoming over two cutscenes they thought were too graphic). I think they all want us playing nothing more subversive than Super Mario... 🙄

Congrats Kenny and huge thanks Graham - all interviews should be this engaging and interesting! The right music/score absolutely elevates a game from good to great, or in the case of the Astros from great to simply brilliant.
