Adding VRR - doesn't that disable HDR att 4K resolution?

A funny bug (and annoying at the same time) is when you are lying on the ground close to an enemy and you crawl a little bit and your character start to "crawl" straight up and noone sees you even thou you are pretty much standing next to them lmao

I guess I'm the only one here to think like this, but I really liked this game. This is the first Ghost Recon game I ever played and I think it was a fun game to platinum to be honest. I even bought Wildlands a few weeks ago and it's great too so far.
Why all the hate ? What's wrong with this game ? (serious question!)
Or is it just the cool thing to do at the moment to hate on this game or what ?

I was just taking a break from Nioh 2 to take a sip of my coffee when I read this, so great news (now that I know my saves are going to work with the new PS5 editions). So I guess I won't start the 3rd DLC when it comes in december but rather play Demon's Souls and Miles Morales/Spiderman from end of next week forward and wait for the PS5 editions of Nioh/Nioh 2 to be released later on.

@LiamCroft I bought Nioh 2 Digital Deluxe on day one, so I hope I get the "complete edition"

I have 745 hours and 57 minutes on my Nioh save and 689 hours 14 minutes on my Nioh 2 save. So they mean I have to rebuy the games to get the PS5 versions and start from scratch.... Ye, ,don't think so.

Have you tried downloading the PS5 games through the PS App on your phone or via a webbrowser ?
That should be easiest way to solve this I guess.

Funny reading these comments when I guess the simple truth is that we'll see significant PS5 improvements (Dualsense,3D audio and so on) in Rocket League 2 that they said that they are working on a while back.

I bought the M M Ultimate Edition for PS5, but I seem to have got the PS4 version of Miles Morales too because last night the preload started on my Pro.
I deleted it because I rather wait for the PS5 versions but a nice gesture from Sony to include both console versions for the same price imho.

A slim will come at 2023 at the earliest. Sony always have AT LEAST 3 years between their hardware revisions I'm afraid.

But fortunately I had a backup online. That save was NOT corrupted...

And how do you save that om an SSD? Yes, as a file. Datafile or savefile. Call it whatever, you Still copy data back and forth increasing the chance that those data will be mixed up and corrupted.

Quick resume with many profiles loaded into memory over and over just increases the risk for datacorruption in savefiles.
I rather have it the PS5 way with quick loads and clean memory management to be honest.

They don't want people to return their faulty PS5s and blame Sony for bad manufacturing if the user themselves broke something in the console while installing the extra SSD.
I'm sure that they already have a firmware ready to upload to activate extra SSD when they are happy with the PS5 rollout and patched any hiccups in the new system before they allow anything to be installed inside the PS5.

Yeah I totally agree. I have a 7.1 homecinema system so the vague "we will support it sometime in the future" is a downer for sure. I bought a pair of their new PS5 headphones with my PS5 so I hope I get them both at launch. But that was just because I want to experience the new audio to the fullest in games like Demon's Souls for example.
Dolby Atmos is great but not that great on most Blu-rays. It's usually just an upscaled version of an DTS:X 7.1 mix to be honest so I have high hopes that Tempest will be more "true" surround like Mark Cerny painted it up to be.
But hopefully we get to know more tomorrow. Seems many sites hinted that the last pre-view/review embargo is lifted tomorrow.

I love how he really pointed out the benefits with the new Dualsense functions and the benefits with the new Tempest 3D-audio system. This is the true next-gen for me (and I guess most of us here), things that makes us even more immersed in the games we play. And hopefully we can play these games in PSVR 2.0 within a few years and then the sky is the limit !!

Give me Driveclub 2 instead and I can die as a happy man. 😉

Of course you can. Just print a 65" (or how big TV you got) Halo picture and glue it on your TV. Now you're set, play Halo as much as you want with your ps5.. /s

I want you guys to compare same games: PS4 install size vs. install size on the PS5 (PS5 version)
My point is, does companies do their best to optimize for PS5 or are they lazy and waste our precious SSD space with bloatware games ? Crossgen games like Dirt5, AC Valhalla and Spiderman M:M should be great games to compare on PS4 vs PS5 storage space.

Woopidoo. This morning I finally got the app ✌️🤗👍
But I couldn't download the PS Plusgames... I can see them fine but no Buy or download button show up.
I read online quite a few people all over the world seem to have the same issue, both in the new app and in the PS4 / PC webstore apps .
Hopefully Sony is working on this and solve it BEFORE people wants to buy and download their brand new PS5 games and apps. 🙃😀

My daughter just downloaded the new app (not up for me yet ) ,but she found a "Show notice for articles on wishlist" -or something similiar in the settings on the new app. So wishlist will comeback it seems. Probably around PS5 launch.

Nioh 2 (the game that just keeps on giving) DLC 2 Darkness In The Capital. Farming weapons so I can upgrade my 190 +27 axe to 190 +30 that I assume is max for this DLC.
I'm already looking forward to december and DLC 3. I also hope Team Ninja will patch this game to use some PS5 functions like the SSD for faster loading and so on.

Live in Sweden now. I pre-ordered Spiderman: MM - Ultimate Edition and Demon's Soul Digital Deluxe.
Now I just need to wait less than a month for my PS5...
Edit: you can "buy" Share Factory for PS5 for free too, it even says "Download now"... hehe
