Thank god though, its only taken 5 years.

Its such a fun, positive game for any age. The only downside is the team based games, they really do drag it down a little bit. Would prefer if it was just you vs eveyone for all the rounds.

Honestly at this point PSNow is much better value for money than +. Greedfall is a surprisingly really good game and Hitman 2 is stellar. Make online play free and combine + and Now into one mega package, it seems like the obvious way forward

Super fun game, managed to get a few games in before the console servers collapsed. But going from the interview we won't be able to play this on the PS5 even as backwards compatible? Seems strange

@BalsBigBrother they have switched it off for 30 mins while they beef up the servers

I mean you are getting a game for free on + and you can play and earn in game for free, you are not forced to buy a single thing to play or progress in the game.. Try it, its a tonne of fun and you dont need to spend a single bit of your real money on it.

This "Patch" is bigger than Ghosts of Tsushimas full game size, insane. This game is the very definition of console bloatware / junkware.

@Flaming_Kaiser Because I dont believe in paid exclusives like this on any gaming platform, it generates a rotten feeling amongst people and the gaming community as a whole. It was rubbish on Destiny 2 when people on PC / Xbox who paid the exact same amount of money had to wait a whole year just to get their hands on weapons and missions cos of that kinda stuff, see also MS and Tomb Raider, the damage that did to the game itself.

And as I understand it, its not even Sonys version of Spiderman, its Crystal Dynamics version on Spiderman, so its baffling. Can I understand why gaming companies do it, Yes, Money, bragging rights etc doesn't mean I agree with it though, a shady business practice is always a shady business practice even when it seems to go in your favour.

Its seems like it's Anthem 2.0 really, but its fun watching people meltdown on twitter about it, even though its a kinda crappy move on Sonys part.

Im guessing we'll be getting a State of Play next month that will hopefully be about PS5 release date / price.

Dont care about Crash or COD, hopefully a nice chunk of RE 8 will be shown though

I get strong Oxenfree vibes from this, which I loved. But its good to see a team of LGBT+ devs get a chance at making something and being spotlighted. While im not sure i'll play this game, I wish them all the luck, and how much this game might mean for an under represented section of the gaming community.

The game should have launched free to play, or at least the price its at now in the sale, it looks interesting enough, but 45ish quid for it was never gonna sell it, esp when D2 is there and to an extent Halo. But will def check it out this weekend.

I hate timed exclusives on any game or dlc on any platform. Its an outright rubbish business practice.. but dear god the hypocrisy and arrogance coming from Phil "the gamer" Spencer takes it to a whole new level really. I hope some games journalist throws all these comments back at him sometime.

@Murray I guess you didn't get the point.. Nobody has said anywhere MS dont have exclusives, they do, of course they do! Forza, Gears, Halo, Hellblade 2, Cuphead etc

The point is, he has been running his mouth off all last week, making contradictory statements about it, if he doesnt believe in console wars, or platform exclusives then why doesnt he put his money where his big mouth is and release all those MS exclusives on other platforms? Afterall they hurt the gaming industry as he said. And why did they discontinue priduction on all X boxes apart from the S literally a few hours after he said he doesnt believe in forcing people into new console generations?

People are rightfully taking the mick out of him for it all, cos none of it makes any kind of sense.

But..But BUT he said "console wars" were stupid, Platform exclusives were "hurting the gaming industry" and doesn't believe in forcing people into new console generations... something something massive hypocrite.

I was gonna buy Ghost of Tsushima this week (but having to use stances is a little bit off putting for me) so I'll maybe wait and see if FF7 remake gets a cheeky little discount before deciding.

Maybe they could unveil a new tier of PS+ with now included, could be something viable.

As great as Gamepass as a service is, it only takes a couple of Devs to say No they don't want their games on there, CDPR already have with Cyberpunk and that could start a snowball of other devs following suit, esp AAA ones and Gamepass starts getting into tricky waters.

Maybe there will be an option to add on additional back buttons or paddles? I refuse to belive that very cool attachment for the DS4 is nothing more than a weird very late in life stage accessory. I think they were trialling something out, well I hope so.

Cant wait for this tbh was obsessed with all the original Rollercoaster Tycoon games growing up, be nice if they offered a free PS5 upgrade if you buy on PS4, otherwise its a PS5 buy, cos it can even push some top tier PCs to its limit.

I was fully preparing for a 500 quid PS5 but im not so sure anymore, does anyone think they might pull a nice little surprise on the price? Maybe 450 for the standard and 400 for the digital, it seems a bit more realistic all of sudden.

All this reminds me of is when developers where excited to take advantage of the Dualshock 4 "exciting new features" like the touch pad. And well... That didnt last beyond a bunch of games in the first year and the odd game here and there over the years.

The new features sound cool, but I bet they won't be as integrated into games as much beyond the 1st year, but you never know!

Has he forgotten all about those "Exclusive to Series. X" games his own company showed a couple of months ago? Going by this interview they will be releasing them on all platforms then?

@AdamNovice Not had that problem, maybe check your app settings, all mines had reset when the app updated last week, also the amount of adverts that appear in videos now through the app is very frustrating, but thats a youtube thing sadly

Shame theres no sales on Headsets or Dual Shocks, but I suppose with this era beginning to wind down, it doesn't make much sense. Just means I can add a little more saving to the PS5 fund.

Yeh the Shopto is a great deal, missed out on getting Days Gone, its sold out everywhere, so hoping they do a PS Store reduction at 15.99 in the digital sale

@Jslade Days Gone will be on sale physical for £15.99 according to the PS blog, I might be tempted at that price too
