The day gaming becomes fully streaming is the day I stop. Its unfair on people/countries with rubbish internet connections and you just know each big company will want their own service for you to subscribe to, and that doesnt count the outrageously high prices already for some digital games, it'll just get worse when there is no physical equivalent to get in the way.

Game of the year? Not a chance, its so clunky, the controls are... Irritating and the bounty system is yuck. Its a good game, but the hyperbole around this game is strong.

I love AC but im not buying this until some point next year, its entirely too soon for a new game I feel. The yearly releases is what nearly killed the franchise off, every 2 years for a new AC game seems like a perfect schedule.

Im sure the PS4 base is distraught at the prospect of losing a crappy card game that they can play on their mobile or tablet or laptop, I guess we will just have to put up with Red or Dead 2 and Spiderman as some sort of consolation

I think a good compromise would be if all game sellers dont take money from you until either the game has a locked in release date or until its actually shipped

This is really the only thing Sony/PS4 have done wrong this gen, there is absolutely no reason why they havent except for sheer stubborness.

OH I really hope they haven't returned to pumping these out once a year again, Origins was fantastic, because they took their time with it, and im really looking forward to the next one, but one every couple years would be perfect, not rushed out every year

I reckon this will be true, seems like a natural progression from Egypt/Greece, what im hoping though is they keep Bayek and keep that storyline going, either way, cant wait!

I still feel 2020 is an appropriate soft launch for PS5, that way next gen technology will be readily available and cheaper, I mean realistically, theres's not much room to improve from, sure 4k 60fps should be a definite lock in and obviously a slight update on graphics, textures, mapping etc that 4K will afford, but we are a long long long way away from 8K even hitting mass market.

Plus, i'm sure Sony will be seeing how the 4K TV market goes over the next year or so before fully committing to release the PS5, im definitely expecting a range of new affordable Sony 4k's bundled with a Pro to be pushed in the next year or so as a prelude to any next gen console.

TBH, it doesnt really bother me, its not like they aren't talking and not releasing games, the games are doing all the talking and that is the most important.

Plus. now we're 4 years in, I would imagine the focus for those uptop in the company is the PS5 and lining up a potential schedule for that, when to break that news, when to release, what the specs / power will be and all that kind of thing.

It's prob a busy and excting time behind the scenes right now but alas we're not privvy to any of that.
