It was this years No Mans Sky, People, rightly or wongly were expecting great things from it, but what was delivered was a broken buggy hollow mess of a game, how is it even acceptable to release in that state, how did that go Gold?
While I dont agree with the dark hive mind of the internet, I do think most of the comments were critical but very fair, I only hope that the big companies and devs are starting to realise people just wont accept broken games on release and they are no longer being silent about it.
I was watching an IGN videocast just t'other day and they were talking about this very thing, one of the panel put across a pretty decent point, being "that its a little bit afraid of showing it off because it shows up the original PS4 as being not as good when you look at screenshots/video comparisons"
I completely skipped out on the last console generation, so it was good to see how the original PS Store looked, I like the style of it today really, but wish they would sort out the really minor annoyance of video previews on game pages starting and then stopping 3 seconds in
Ohhhhh, That definitely look Egypty, visually it looks great, well as much as slightly blurry pic will let it, just as an aside, AC Empires is a much better name than Origins
Oh, I would be here for this. I'm still not convinced RD2 will release this year, also I wonder of this and the new AC will fall under UBI's "live game" commitment
Well I've really missed AC, I do have open-world-fatigue, But I will always have time for AC and Far Cry games, I love exploring and just being in the worlds created.
Egypt is also my favourite time period, so Im really excited about that too, and I also enjoyed the play as 2 charachters of Syndicate as well.
Just play Deus Ex Mankind Divided, its pretty much the exact same game minus the annoying mimics and sub-par controls, its also dirt cheap these days..
Im not sure how I feel about it, It is very Deus EX Mankind Divided in style and gameplay, I mean the the very opening few minutes are exactly the same as how DEX MD starts.
I'll be curious to see how the reviews are for this, for more information about it
Ive always wondered why Sony never do an official Monthly / Bi Monthly show, I mean they have the platform, plop it out through PS Access or whatever its called, do some news, a bit of a chat with various Sony peeps, a wee feature, show some games, some previews and have a little competition, Doesnt have to be long 30 mins / 45 mins
This has to be a rought edit right? I just started playing Shadow of Mordor and it looked absolutely glorious in its updated 4k resolution, nice fluid animations and lightning.
I noticed its running on Xbox (Scorpion?), maybe its just not running that well on that system, the 2nd game cant play worse than the 1st surely,
Aww man.. I was going to buy this digitally, but that Steelbook, is beautiful, I'll wait to see if its available anywhere in the UK first, otherwise its digital
Some absoultely incredible deals. Ive snapped up Shadow of Mordor GOTY for £11 and Dragons Age Inquistion GOTY for £7 - but first I need to finish NieR
Im so 50-50 with this game, I absolutely adored Ratchet & Clank last year, but theres something about this, that just doesn't quite hit the spot but then again, I can totally see me buying it at some point, but then Sonic will be out and then this video preview hasn't exactly filled me with confidence.
That looks insanely real lif-esque. I'll be honest I cant wait for this, I feel very spoiled this year, what with this WipEout and Sonic, being my most anticipated games of the year
I finally bought my 1st game of 2017, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, and what a game it is so far! Absolutely cracking, and it was only £12.95 for the day one edition from Amazon as well.
I think i'll pass on all these games, well maybe not the last one. I haven't bought a single game for the PS4 this year, can see that continuing for another couple of months

Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of War's Open World Looks a Lot More Interesting than Mordor
"For the Bright Lorrrrdddd"
Always makes me laugh and I dont know why.
I will probably wait for the Definitive or GOTY year version before I fork out for this one
Re: Round Up: Injustice 2 PS4 Reviews Fly Super High
I'll stick to MK XL thanks, this is just essentially a 99% re-skin of that
Re: Ubisoft Teases 'A New Era' of Assassin's Creed
Even seeing the logo is getting me giddy, very much looking forward to E3. I've missed AC.
Re: Ubisoft Confirms Far Cry 5, Will No Doubt Show Up at E3
I loved Far Cry 4, was a great world to explore, that logo seems a bit minimal, a bit futuristic.
Be nice if it was set in the future while Assassins Creed does the reverse in its past Eypt thing

Just play Deus Ex Mankind Divided, its pretty much the exact same game minus the annoying mimics and sub-par controls, its also dirt cheap these days..
Re: You Can Download May's PlayStation Plus Games Now
Have to say, out of the freebies, I surprisingly am really enjoying Type Rider the most, what an awesome little game.
Alien Nation is just not for me, and Borderlands seems OK but not in a rush to go back to play it.
Re: Review: Little Nightmares (PS4)
Im so glad you mentioned the perspective / controls, it sucked the life out of the game for me, im glad it was only just above 3 hours long.
Re: Neat Bethesda Promotional Art Teases E3 2017 Reveals
All this has done has made me really want a real life Bethesda inspired theme park
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 165
Little Nightmares but on the verge of giving up, the controls are really ruining it for me
Re: Capcom Is Currently Working on a 'Major' Unannounced Game
A proper Street Fighter game would be nice

Re: Resident Evil 7 Falls Short of Capcom's Sales Expectations
No mention SF V? I wonder how that met with their expectations
Re: PS4's Biggest Games Score Even Bigger Discounts in Europe
I still wouldn't re-buy No Mans Sky at that price. I have a feeling it will end up on PS+ as a free game in the next year or so
Re: Review: The Deer God (PS4)
Oh Deer...
Re: Feature: The 20 Best RPGs on PS4
I just cant get on with The Witcher , at all, and I've tried many times.
Nier is the standout for me, just because there really isnt anything quite like it out there
Re: Hands On: It's All About That Bass in Euro Fishing on PS4
OMG that headline though... I laughed
Re: Final Fantasy XV Is Getting Another Big Update This April

Re: Fancy a Better Look at 2B's Backless Costume in NieR: Automata?
Honestly, This is in my Top 3 games of the year. People NEED to play it. Hoping the DLC comes to UK/EU/NA soon

Re: Review: Drawn to Death (PS4)
I tried it, but absolutely hated every single minute of it.
Re: Why Is Persona 5 Streaming and Sharing Banned?
So, going by these rather heavy handed rules, does that mean they will be shutting down any online "how to" guides and walk through articles as well?
Re: NieR: Automata Shipments and Digital Sales Top 1 Million
Just picked this up yesterday, absolutely fantastic game, a really interesting, weird and kinda sad storyline.
I hope word of mouth and gradual price reduction gets more people playing, deserves it

Re: Sonic Forces to Span Three Types of Gameplay
Give me that Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing gameplay mode.
This looks pretty good actually, just hope the controls for the modern Sonic gameplay isnt atrocious

Re: No Man's Sky Finds the Path to a Major PS4 Patch
Everytime I read about new updates to this, I am more than happy I traded it in the day after I bought it.
Even if this ended up as a free game on PS+ I still wouldn't go back to it
