Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Multiplayer and DLC Not the Focus, As CDPR Preps Rescue Mission

@Old-Red Story wise when I am in missions and side missions, I am enjoying it. When I have to traverse the city with its brain-dead NPCs and a false sense of being alive? It's a chore. I also find that the map and Night City is designed in a way where there truly is no sense of place, so it just all washes together into dark, scummy city poop. I end up just looking at the mini map when running to the next mission area since I have zero sense of where I am anyway.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Hovers Around 720p on PS4, Drops As Low As 15FPS

I've found the only way to really make this look somewhat decent on PS5 via BC is turning off HDR in-game and on the PS5 itself, removing Depth of Field, Film Grain, Chromatica and Motion Blur. Looks much sharper and richer in color.

The game is not implementing HDR correctly. Other games with HDR detect the PS5's always on HDR and adjust accordingly (showing on in game menu settings) and look fantastic. I've noticed CyberPunk's HDR is set off by default despite the PS5 having HDR always on. When you then turn on HDR in the game, it gets even brighter and more washed out....

Something really isn't being implemented right here. I shouldn't have to re-adjust all my settings for one game when others look perfect.

Re: Hands On: This Is How Cyberpunk 2077 Runs on PS5, PS4 Pro, and PS4

How is this game in anyway "PS4 Pro Enhanced" if it is barely above 1080p? I thought the game was looking really blurry and lacked any visual sharpness or clarity, which means it is going to look absolutely awful on my high end 4K TV...absolutely disappointed. How is it that Ghosts can TLOU2 and look so visually sharp and this game looks so blurry and muddy?

This does seal the deal for me though. I am deleting it from my PS5 for now and will wait for the true next-gen upgrade or visual Quality mode. I can't believe that Xbox One X/Series X has it and we don't. I can handle a drop in FPS...but blurry visuals...I can't do it. 1080p is absolutely not acceptable for me.

I preferred Abby's story over Ellie and found the second half of the game much more emotionally gripping. This was a story of actions having consequences. How one man's actions could absolutely destroy the lives of others unknowingly. There are no heroes or villains, simply survivors. Yet one man's decision had a ripple effect.
