What doesn’t make sense is some people playing on PS5 have played like 30+ hours and haven’t had a crash at all? It’s weird how the bugs happen to some and not to others
It's truly a disaster of proportions I've never seen. The fact the game was removed a week after launch is just another nail in their coffin. I could give them the benefit of the doubt on many things, but the fact they hid the console versions, lied and admitted to not really giving them much attention is just a bit much for me.
@TheIdleCritic I’m supporting the practice so they continue to do it I know how much people hate paid micro transactions but as long as people partake in them they will continue to do them and benefit me
@TheIdleCritic or let people pay for what they want and who gives a damn? These are all optional things. I have plenty of time to explore the world, I just like the idea of faster leveling. So I spent money on it.
Who cares? You aren’t obligated to buy it. It’s completely optional. I just spent $10 on it just to spite all the media complaining about it now I can power level away with ease. And guess what? It was MY choice to spend the $10 on it and no one forced me. My god! The power of choice. What a concept.
@Old-Red Story wise when I am in missions and side missions, I am enjoying it. When I have to traverse the city with its brain-dead NPCs and a false sense of being alive? It's a chore. I also find that the map and Night City is designed in a way where there truly is no sense of place, so it just all washes together into dark, scummy city poop. I end up just looking at the mini map when running to the next mission area since I have zero sense of where I am anyway.
I would be shocked if next-gen even drops in 2021 at this point. They have so much work to get fix what is broken. Honestly, I feel I am just playing it out of obligation since I bought it at this point.
I feel like I am hate-playing it out of obligation now since I can't get a refund. Thankfully, I can play it on PS5...but the crashes are annoying and they reset my HDR and graphics settings every time.
@Voltan Combat is hit or miss. I am much more interested in the side missions and story portions. Enemy scaling does make it less fun since I enjoy being an overpowered beast.
I've logged around 62 hours so far and I've barely scratched the surface of the story. I've never been so involved in a game like this. The world is gorgeous, I love Eivor and the Viking lore and the stories I've encountered have truly kept my attention. Overall, it has been a blast.
@get2sammyb I would also like to say that even without the bugs the game isn't some revelation. The NPC AI is pretty generic and the world doesn't feel alive at all. Just artificially so. It would have been nice to encounter more dynamic events.
Knowing Capcom they may delay the game further to change things due to this. I also hope people who don't like what they see demand changes. I really want to experience this.
@ShogunRok It feels like the game is applying it twice since the game isn’t detecting the PS5’s always on HDR and sets hdr to off by default. When I turn it on everything just seems too washed out. I don’t have this issue with any other HDR capable games and they look great. Not sure. Maybe just don’t like how it’s implemented in this game.
@HMazzy111 I've discovered turning off HDR on your PS5 and in-game, then turning off Motion Blur, Film Grain, and Depth of Field in the Graphics Settings makes it look much more acceptable on PS5
@get2sammyb So what exactly was "Pro Enhanced" about it I wonder? How is it TLOU2 and Ghosts of Tsushima look so fantastic and this game looks soo sub-par? Feels like CDPR really screwed the pooch here.
@Shstrick I've discovered the HDR is really not being applied properly with this game. I've turned off the HDR in game and on the PS5 and then removed Film Grain, Motion Blur and Depth of Field and the game looks much better (not...like amazing but better)
I've found the only way to really make this look somewhat decent on PS5 via BC is turning off HDR in-game and on the PS5 itself, removing Depth of Field, Film Grain, Chromatica and Motion Blur. Looks much sharper and richer in color.
The game is not implementing HDR correctly. Other games with HDR detect the PS5's always on HDR and adjust accordingly (showing on in game menu settings) and look fantastic. I've noticed CyberPunk's HDR is set off by default despite the PS5 having HDR always on. When you then turn on HDR in the game, it gets even brighter and more washed out....
Something really isn't being implemented right here. I shouldn't have to re-adjust all my settings for one game when others look perfect.
I guess I’ll just wait. I was going to start it tonight on PS5 but any excitement I’ve had has completely drained. From the blurry graphics on PS5 to bugs and now crashes. I’m happy to just wait until 2021
How is this game in anyway "PS4 Pro Enhanced" if it is barely above 1080p? I thought the game was looking really blurry and lacked any visual sharpness or clarity, which means it is going to look absolutely awful on my high end 4K TV...absolutely disappointed. How is it that Ghosts can TLOU2 and look so visually sharp and this game looks so blurry and muddy?
This does seal the deal for me though. I am deleting it from my PS5 for now and will wait for the true next-gen upgrade or visual Quality mode. I can't believe that Xbox One X/Series X has it and we don't. I can handle a drop in FPS...but blurry visuals...I can't do it. 1080p is absolutely not acceptable for me.
I preferred Abby's story over Ellie and found the second half of the game much more emotionally gripping. This was a story of actions having consequences. How one man's actions could absolutely destroy the lives of others unknowingly. There are no heroes or villains, simply survivors. Yet one man's decision had a ripple effect.

The game has never crashed for me on PS5::shrug::
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.04 Available to Download Now, Here Are the Patch Notes
Game definitely looks less blurry playing on PS5
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.04 Available to Download Now, Here Are the Patch Notes
Strange my file size didn’t increase. Purchased the game digital on PS5 and it’s stayed 101.9 GB after 1.02 and 1.04
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.04 Available to Download Now, Here Are the Patch Notes
@Ridwaano mine didn’t get any bigger on PS5 it is still 101.9 GB

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Second Big Update Arrives Next Week
The game is gorgeous on PS5. I am about 64 hours into it and barely at 20% of the campaign. I've never been sucked into a game world this much before.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4) - The Potential of a Masterpiece, Totally and Utterly Unrealised
@ShogunRok I’ve had turn off the HDR and most of the graphic filters to make it look decent on PS5

@NEStalgia I can't stand blurry visuals. So I guess I will be deleting it and waiting.

@Tatarimokke I am surprised you say that because I am playing Valhalla on PS5 and find it to be absolutely stunning

@carlos82 So this game isn't even running at 4K or scaled 4K on PS4 Pro/PS5? It is going to look horrible on my high end 4K TV then
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Runs at 60 Frames-Per-Second on PS5, But There's No Quality Mode

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 PS5, PS4 Preload Begins, 102GB Total File Size
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I can confirm after downloading the 28GB patch my game remained 102 GB, which makes me think it updated/replaced existing files.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 PS5, PS4 Preload Begins, 102GB Total File Size
@get2sammyb Funny how it is named NO TITLE and has a broken image link when downloading.

Actually that’s not true it clearly states it will unlock on December 9th at 7 PM EST where I am and my current timer on PSN confirms that
Re: Streamers Will Be Showing Off Cyberpunk 2077 from the 9th December
The game actually unlocks digitally on December 9th. Mine is set to be playable 7PM EST on 12/9
