Re: HBO Renews The Last of Us TV Series for a Second Season

Very expected. I think that with the show version of Part 2, they might be able to help reframe some of the story telling where Abby is received better. I never had an issue with her motivations. And understood them and personally love Part 2. But I think there are ways they could reframe the storytelling to make her motivations clearer, so the audience isn't so onboard with Ellie's revenge plot, they can't accept Abby's story half later.

Re: Forspoken (PS5) - Messy Action RPG Is Massively Hit and Miss

Personally I am loving it. It seems overly hated and overly targeted. I find Frey likeable and her reactions very reasonable. There are so many hidden dungeons, challenges and new bits of lore in the world to be discovered. It feels like many reviewers ignored everything but main missions and missed basically everything.

Re: Game of the Year: #3 - Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon FW is my GOTY....a beautiful spectacle I lost myself in for more than 120+ hours. I can't wait for Horizon 3. I wish I liked God of War Ragnarok, but it was the ultimate disappointment for me. Abandoned it after 17 hours, a dull and meandering story with middling visuals. A true definition of an over hyped slog.

I feel like something is really wrong with me that I didn't connect with this game AT ALL. It's a quality AAA experience, that I felt nothing for. No like or dislike. Absolutely nothing, and after 20 hours uninstalled it and moved on. Again, the game has incredible production values, but I found the pacing to be all over the place and the level design very restricted and unimaginative compared to GOW 2018. Again, I get the reason the game is getting so much praise but I've never had a game like this just simply not do it for me. And I am sad and baffled about it.

Re: Poll: Is The Last of Us: Part 1 Really a 'Cash Grab'?

I proudly spent my $90 on it...and this will be a sales success, further solidifying more higher price tags for other games to scream and tear their hair out to. Makes me giddy. High-priced games are here to stay and I plan to further ensure it happens with my purchases.

Re: Xbox on Acquisitions: The Last Thing We Want to Do Is Take Games Away from PS5, PS4

I would argue taking Elder Scrolls away from Playstation really splices up the community since Elder Scrolls has a massive player base on Playstation...but it was originally exclusive to Xbox with Elder Scrolls 3. So....I can see them taking it back.

This is where I get wary of an EA acquisition because you know Microsoft would happily make Mass Effect an Xbox exclusive again and take away Dragon Age.
