This game is freaking breathtaking. Will definitely doing an armor build that won't hide my character's face though. I never went for the metal knight.

I think she should delay it to Spring/Summer 2021. If you don't see marketing start up again with the new date in the next few weeks, I'd expect it will be pushed. They are only hurting themselves now thought with this.

@Menchi you are so in the minority on this one, story wise Heavensward and Shadowbringers are some of the best in FF and it’s the team from Heavensward making this. Most agree Yoshi P has elevated XIV to something incredible so if you don’t like XIV I say skip this. Your money won’t be missed and it will be a thrill not to hear your complaints.

@get2sammyb I expect in 2-3 weeks we will be getting the next delay announcement to March 2021.

There is no chance this releases on December 10. I think the game is far from ready and honestly, I see this being delayed until Spring 2021. At this point it should be, stop with the little delays and give some serious time and breaking room.

I don't see how they could enforce this in the USA, when Gamestops have physical allocations coming to all of their stores that are preordered (mine included). We just couldn't access them? That sounds like it would create a nightmare.

Most people seem to love it, so it seems Liam just didn't like it...that is totally fine. This isn't his type of horror. I personally love the hide n seek games. I find them scarier.

I am just hoping it is as fast/smooth as they showed. My PS4 Pro tends to lag in the UI quite a bit.

I have both consoles preordered at Gamestop...hopefully Microsoft doesn't have some shady presence where the PS5 preorders get delayed for a week because they knocked the shipments off the truck.

I play Final Fantasy XIV everyday, so I will be constantly using it. I have 190 digital games purchased in my library.

@nessisonett The game has been in full development for over 3 years and is getting a full blown event in 2021.

People do realize the graphical leap from PS4 to PS5 is most likely not going to be as huge this generation. It's going to be about performance and effects that weren't possible before.

@Jaz007 it’s been confirmed to have been in development four years. They are launching the official site with more game details in October and will have a full blown reveal event in 2021. The game is definitely coming within the next year or two and Yoshi P has done a phenomenal job with FFXIV and is one of the best in the business. I prefer a well rounded story, world and gameplay over graphics. The normal SE FF teams prioritized graphics for XV and FF7R and they both were subpar at best.

No one is ENTITLED to a free upgrade - period. If a game is truly being remastered for next-gen...you pay for it. It is really is simple. Gamers wanting every upgrade for free is selfish and ridiculous. If they start throwing up their hands and demanding such things, developers will just not do PS5 upgrades - something they are not required to do anyway. Also, I remember paying for Last of Us Remastered.

Nope. I've to my Series X and a PS5 Digital Edition, so I am good now for next-gen. No need to miss out on anything. Quite pleased.

I am assuming the Deluxe Edition will be available Digitally on the PSN store for those of us with the Digital Edition PS5?

GameStop online, Best Buy, Walmart all sold out. I managed to get an in-store preorder of the Digital Edition and they sold out as well. Pretty much if you don't pre-order today...you aren't getting one.

I managed to snag a Digital Edition from my local Gamestop. Everything sold out so fast.

Sony sold the PS4 and PS4 Pro at launch at a loss. They are known to be aggressive in pricing and want to win period. I am expecting they go all in and Physical $449 and Digital $349 and target the marketing to the Series being cheap but weaker, while their digital console is the same power as physical

@SilkySmile89 Console gamer my entire life. I've never owned a gaming PC and never had the desire to. Prefer gaming on a console where I can relax on my couch in front of the TV. Being hunched over a computer is not desirable to me.

Who does local co-op in 2020? Who the hell sits around a TV with friends and says lets play a game? Give me a break.

@Kefka2589 There's a difference between commenting on a game site and having someone messaging me on my gaming system that I don't know or want to know. Gaming is MY time to relax and do my thing. I don't want someone up in my business. I don't play online games, I don't have Instagram or social media accounts. I like to remain just a private person.

I keep my PSN locked down. No one can add me, I have ZERO friends, I remain private to the max and hope I can stay that way. I don't want ANY interaction with strangers, period.

For simply enjoying TLOU2, people are being threatened, harassed, told to kill themselves and that they deserve to be raped. Called racial slurs, religious slurs, homophobic slurs, transphobic slurs. Really? This is how people treat people?

Resident Evil 8 is absolutely going to be there. The leaks have been coming hot and heavy. One of the major leakers who has predicted the last several RE game announcements says it will be there. It’s pretty much the worst kept secret right now

@avenovah I expect ND will delay it because releasing a violent game during these times isn't appropriate...at least I am sure that is how they will spin it.

How much you want to bet that Naughty Dog announces another delay for The Last of Us Part II because releasing a "violent game during these times would be inappropriate."

Honestly, at this point, why are they even attempting to still do this during Holiday 2020. Just delay it all to next year at this point.

I about fell asleep watching that State of Play. Don’t get me wrong the game looks stunning but it seems boring as hell. Combat also seems off and a bit sluggish. Big NO for me

I was spoiled accidentally and honestly the story bits I've seen sound like a complete dumpster fire. I'm gay and feel Naughty Dog seriously has issues with how they incorporate that representation. We shall see how it all plays out but my excitement really isn't there anymore. I will play it out of obligation not enjoyment.

The game looks gorgeous to me and these minor texture issues aren’t that big of a deal. It seems to me that Push Square truly hated this game because all of their coverage is super negative.

Jesus Christ for those in Europe trying to download FF7R and its 100 GB. With physical copy delays everyone switched to digital. Thank God the game pre-loads 48 hours before, but I think they may want to extend that. God, I hope this doesn't happen in the United States.

I absolutely loved it and thought the voice acting and banter with the characters was wonderful. It seems you just didn't really enjoy it and that's okay, but most of the things you hated about the level designs I am seeing praised in other previews.

Also, this game was never going to be open world and was always going to have some linearity to it. That's just the nature of it.
