Agreed not a fan of them either in fact got rid of mine and went back to a basic phone that just does calls and texts. If I want a computer I use my laptop
Looks truly awful for the first time I will not even claim the free game. Also Sony stance on this new thing they are pushing. They are happy for the use of mobiles and tablets with the PS4 but unhappy if you want to play a game with your friend on xbox.
Sony really dropped the ball this year. Its lucky they were not like this at the start of the PS4/Xbox 1 generation. I could have easily skipped this presentation and would not have missed anything.
Much more impressed with not only the specs but with how the new xbox console looks as well. The pro did nothing for me but the new console looks good and has a decent roster of games. £100 more is not really much all things considered. I think Sony are going to need to have a very good showing to out do microsoft this year.
Apart from the Ps Plus deal the other offers are poor. The software side of the sales is even worse. I also suspect that Ps Plus will be going up in price within the next few months and thats why they are offering it at a discounted rate now.
Its a bit late in the cycle now to make a Pro controller only going to get one maybe 2 years out if by the time it launches then there will be PS5 out.
Beam/Mixer is ok but you do not get the viewers when you stream there so its pointless. Beam has been around for years and if it is not getting the viewers now it never will. Until you get the big streamers like Lirik etc moving then its not going to take viewers away from Twitch.
I find the term B tier a strange one to use for these titles. A B-movie is something that does not take its self seriously. Many 1000's of hours of blood sweat and tears have been put into these games to create something of value.
Not a prefect game but never played one of those. Also never played a game that does not need patching. It does not play like a traditional mass effect but then again the 3 original games also evolved. Especially between one and two. I like that it plays more like dragon age inquisition. Also the multi-player is so much fun. Mass Effect series was never know for its good graphics or animations.
Your picture show the PS4 controller and hockey mask so I thought there would be some mention about that within the article. So what the relevance of showing it?
@MoorePs4 There is only this and dead by daylight which have this style of game and there are a lot of horror fans out there. Added to the fact its Jason it has potentially a big audience.
@Shellcore No different from Paladins or smite where you were paying to play the game early. Admitedly both those games offered far better value as you had access to all the heroes for a small price. Progress wipe is annoying.
@themcnoisy I suggest you do not buy any of these so called incomplete games. If you do then you are adding to the problem. You say you do not expect more for your £50 but you do want more you want a lot more content which you seem to not want to pay for.
DLC is an important revenue stream for games. We all know the problems with the 2nd hand market which dramatically reduces money to developers. Its a good opportunity to say to the company I enjoy your game and want to spport you.
I enjoy game/movie adaptions but the problem like with all in the past is that it is an adaption of a game. So that cuts out a lot of interest from normal cinema goers.
I have bought season passes in the past and always happy with them. Bioware/Mass effect prodce some of the best DLC I have ever player for a game. It stops a situation like with Fallout 4 where you had a massive increase in the price of the season pass when they realised content cost more to produce. This does not also limit support for the game after launch.
I think like with ME3 they will produce some bigger DLC expansions. Whatevere they make I will buy it as am happy to support this franchise which has never let me down.
Buy a season pass if you want to support a game. If you do not then do not buy it. You are always saving on the content if you buy season passes.
Sticking to my guns and not buying any games. Prices are not bad but as I have said earlier the quick discounting of games has put me off buying games.
For me the Scorpio will shine because of its power a lot more tempted with that than I was for getting the PS Pro. Switch because its portable with a lot of fun games. Those are two very different systems catering for different markets. Sony will plod along still sell consoles but I am excited for the new consoles releases. The Switch should not worry sony too much but the Scorpio has the strong potential to draw gamers away from PS4.
The series is done in my mind the best game was Uncharted 2 the others were ok. Naughty Dog are creative would prefer to see them work on something new.
Spent £300 on headphones for better sound but not just for console but also music. I am not good at shooters anyway so no controller is ever going to change that. There are other devices that allow yo to map controllers which you can program yourself and they cost a lot less than this controller and you can still use your original PS4 conroller if anything I would go for one of those.
The Division plays quite differently to when it first started its eveolving as a game and they are listening to feedback from the players. Its worth going back to revisit
I always supported games day one so they can get money back. But after last year I will no longer be supporting any day one games. I find it unacceptable that a game I paid full price for can drop to 1/2 or 1/3 off price within a couple of months. Its like a kick in the teath for those who are loyal to a franchise. This year I only plan to buy Mass Effect everything else can wait till 2018. I understand games go down in price over time but last year games reduced in price too fast. I predict 2017 will be a truly awful year for full price games because everyone knows wait a month and you will mostly likely get a 1/3 off wait 2 months 1/2 price.
Sony and Microsoft have created this problem for themselves. Allowing physical games to be bought then resold many times means means the revenue ends as soon as the game is sold. PC games moved away from this model years ago. Yes you can still buy physical games but once the code is used thats it. You also have a great digital store with fast downloads. Next generation they really need to look at this issue.
When I first played the game I gave it a personal 10/10 but after reflecting on it its reduced to an 8/10. Graphics were good story ok. Dissapointing multi-player. After playing through the story once did not have any desire to play the game again. For a game to be great it needs to draw me in again and again and sadly this did not do that.
I do not understand why people think that we should be getting AAA ttiles with the small fee we pay each month. Along with all the other benefits we get the games are probably the smallest most meaningless part of the PS Plus package. I would prefer to see indie titles supported than any AAA offering.

I guess this is the reason why sony gave us £10 off the ps plus service

Re: E3 2017: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Will Come To PS4, Eventually
Its a good game and looked decent on the new xbox console. To be honest better than on my PC.
Re: E3 2017: The Witcher 3 Will Get Xbox One X Support, Despite Dev's Stance on PS4 Pro
Another win for Microsoft
Re: E3 2017: Sony's Clearly Not a Fan of Cross-Console Play
I like crossplay features so if there is a choice I would buy the game on a different system so enable me to do that.

I am suprised at the price of the game its coming in at $10 more than Dead by Daylight and really I can not see where the extra value comes from.

@ellsworth004 Varies but around £20-£25
Re: Portal Knights Is Minecraft with More RPG, and You Can Try It For Free Right Now on PS4
You can get it for £8 on PC does not require your PC to have good specs so thats also an option.

@solocapers you are right pricing does need to be looked at they should be competitive with physical copies of the games.

Sony and Microsoft should have both agreed to do it. Games companies miss out on millions of revenue because of the 2nd hand market.
