@Gamer83 yeah, I'm not deluded into thinking Sony haven't had a fair shake at underhanded skullduggery as well, but come November I'll have heaps keeping my busy anyway. Fallout alone will more than likely be a huge time sink.
@Gamer83 I'm still sh*tty about it even now. I've got an Xbox one but I feel compelled to buy it on ps4 anyways to firstly give Microsoft the finger, and secondly because on the balance of probability it'll run slightly better on ps4....
@Gemuarto I'm kinda see what you're saying and to a point I agree with you; if my kid approached me on TTK's release date and said I want this, and I had to buy the game itself, AND the three dlc's, then yeah that's a massive investment. For me though, considering I've been buying the dlc's as and when they've been released it doesn't feel that bad. I totally agree that the dlc itself is overpriced but still, I've definitely got my money's worth out of it over the months.
@wittypixel just take the lid off and blast into the fan area with some compressed air. Yeah, you invalidate your warranty by fiddling, but my warranty has already expired and loud consoles irritate me. I've done it a couple of times now, and my launch PS4 is still whisper quiet.
@kyleforrester87 exactly my thoughts, when reading the article I was genuinely suprised that this discussion even took place, not because Sony are inherently close minded, but because it's even a concern at all because of public reception!
I've found the service to be largely impressive, although I have lagged out if my kids have been sat hung Netflix or something. Overall though its pretty good IMO.
I signed up. I quite like the fact that they've openly stated that the kickstarter will just be funding to "level up" the final product, and not be it's primary funding.
@themcnoisy you're not allowed to like Destiny. There seems to be some law written down somewhere that prohibits It. Personally, I've never understood the amount of hate and animosity that the title gets, but what can you do?
@JesWood13 They're not as bad as you'd think, I managed to fell Gerhman on my first attempt and the Moon Beast on my second. Keep moving and you'll do it!
The best weapon I found was the saw cleaver with a waning fire rune attached. Made mince meat of him. To be honest I had a harder time with The One Reborn and that stupid vomit/acid pool attack.
@JesWood13 you sir, are correct. It's also when the moon turns orange, and therefore the best time to kill that Hunter in the clinic as she's sleeping.
@Melucine I'm in the same boat as you. I tried both Demon and Dark Souls but couldn't get on with either, this definitely feels more accessible in terms of its intricacies and mechanics. And furthermore, I've actually suprised myself with my success rate. I couldn't best a single boss on any of From Software's previous titles, but I've beaten three on here so far. That's not to say it's easy, as I've been cruelly crushed for my hubris on about 50 occasions, but its got its hooks in as I never want to quit in frustration!
It didn't affect me at all, as I picked up the game in the Xmas sale after all the cufuffle had disappeared, but yeah, if I was a launch customer I'd have been devastated. Hasn't it gone on to sell a million copies now, or something around there?
@Sanquine yeah, finished it yesterday and I thought the story was superb. I really hope a sequel gets made. I'm going to start a second playtthrough shortly to get all the collectables I missed. I thought I was pretty thorough but I clearly missed loads considering I didn't get a single collection related trophy.
@jmbenetti I agree, I'm on chapter 11 and yeah, it's not perfect, but nowhere near the complete travesty some reviewers are making it out to be. I'd go for at least a 7 or 8.
@arnoldlayne83 I completely agree. I made the mistake about halfway in of thinking I was partially safe as I got my hands on a flamethrower. Suffice to say I was punished for my hubris. Severely.
@arnoldlayne83 I'm about two thirds in, and its been that way for a while now! It must be my age, I lapped up scary games in my youth, but now I find it hard to stomach all the constant tension!
@Sir_JBizzle the single player is touch and go, largely it functions but when it does screw up, like with saving progress or forcing you to repeat lengthy sections in order to snag a completion achievement, it can be quite deflating.
@arnoldlayne83 that's a fair comment. The last time I was in this position was with ZombiU. And in that instance I still bit the bullet, bought the game and had a blast. I'll give it a go, at least then I'll be in a position to give a valid criticism
Combined between mixed and negative there 26 reviews that fall into that category, and 18 that fall into the positive. I still feel that that warrants mentioning at least some of the reviews that fall into the positive percentage, considering that is still a good chunk of positive attention.

Re: PlayStation Pays Its Respects to Nintendo's Satoru Iwata
Absolutely devastated. No other way to describe it. I knew he'd had surgery, but I had no idea he was this sick.
You can be as critical as you like about his decisions within the company, but he still knew how to make a fun game.
Stunned, shocked, saddened. Beyond the industry, the world has lost a great man, and the place is less fun because of it

Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4)
@Gamer83 agreed. I prefer this to City, hands down, but Asylum is still the best.
Re: PS4, PS3, Vita EU Discounts Discover What's Big in Japan
@darkswabber persona 4 is arguably the best rpg on the vita. If anyone wants to fight me I'll be outside.

@kyleforrester87 exactly my thoughts, when reading the article I was genuinely suprised that this discussion even took place, not because Sony are inherently close minded, but because it's even a concern at all because of public reception!
Re: E3 2015: Shadow of the Beast May Be PS4's Bloodiest Game
I had this on my Amiga 500+. So bloody hard, an early Psygnosis great though, purely just for the art style.
Re: Round Up: What Did Sony Announce During Its E3 2015 Press Conference?
So excited for Horizon, that game looks right up my street.
Re: E3 2015: Horizon: Zero Dawn Is All About Killing Giant, Mechanical Dinosaurs
@Strofan7 I'm gonna go with the first obvious answer... Because dinosaurs are extinct.
Re: E3 2015: Hell Hath No Fury Like a DOOM Gameplay Reveal Trailer
This for more was the best. The music, the sound effects, the simplicity... It all worked wonders. I'm now away more excited than I should be!
Re: PS4 Space Sim ADR1FT's Leaked E3 Trailer Will Give You a Panic Attack
@kyleforrester87 can I come too? I'll make it a bit more old school and bring Silent Running, Dark Star and Saturn 3
Re: He-Man Proves He's the Master of the Playroom in Toy Soldiers: War Chest on PS4
I'd much rather some Thundercats before Transformers, make it so.
Re: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection's PS4 Dynamic Theme Is a Real Treasure
I've pre ordered but have no theme. What gives?
Re: Fallout 4 Is Official, the Wasteland Is Coming to PS4
I can't access the website, it says not found.

Re: Marilyn Manson's New Album Was Put on PlayStation Discs to Represent Change
I thought this album was decent. It's nowhere near as good as Superstar, but it's a damn sight better than Grotesque or Eat Me Drink Me.

Re: Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Is Marching to PS4, But It's Not the Game Many Fans Wanted
@ShogunRok Thats good to know. Through my own ignorance I presumed that as it was a digital release it would be drastically stripped down.
I asked her once where she got the inspiration from for the minions, apparently its all about the hats...
Re: Overlord: Fellowship of Evil Is Marching to PS4, But It's Not the Game Many Fans Wanted
Booo. I really like Overlord 1&2. Plus, they were written by the lovely Rhianna Pratchett. This makes me sad.

Re: Godzilla on PS4, PS3 Looks Like the Perfect Monster Game
@BladeRider me too. I've still my dusty copy of Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters for my GameCube!
Re: There Are No Todgers in the Japanese Version of The Order: 1886
Hah. Penis.
Re: Hunt Down Your First Look at Destiny's House of Wolves With Its First Trailer
Woo. Could be a shot in the arm that the game so desperately needs. I'll give it a crack before writing it off, at least.

Re: Guide: Mastering Bloodborne's Brutal Basics on PS4
I just beat the cleric beast on my first attempt, go me, but then I got my arse handed to me by some priest. I lost 8000 too. The humanity...
Re: Guide: Which Origins Class Should You Select in Bloodborne on PS4?
Is Violet Past the same as Violent Past? Just curious.
Re: First Impressions: Final Fantasy XV Has Massive Potential
@readyletsgo if you've got ps3 then really you have the pick of the litter. Personally, I've always had a soft spot for 9.
Re: Review: Bladestorm: Nightmare (PlayStation 4)
@ShogunRok is that a Sharpe reference in the tagline??
Re: Round Up: Hotline Miami 2 Reviews Dial the Right Number
@rastamadeus ...and fear of sounding like a pleb, is it coming out tomorrow or the 15th?
Re: Hotline Miami 2 Is Butchering Its Way onto PS4 and Vita Next Month
Words cannot expess the excitement, squee!
Re: Scram Kitty DX Purrs to PS4, Vita This Week
This game is insanely difficult. I've got to sit down and try and master the principles more, but every time I do I always end up rage quitting.
Re: UK Sales Charts: PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Flags Down a Cab in First
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Tbh I partially agree with you, I just wanted to take advantage of the situation and quote The Big Lebowski.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi lulz, that's become my go to line when the wife starts faffing about now, the delivery was perfect.

Re: Review: The Order: 1886 (PlayStation 4)
Started playing this morning. I'm enjoying it thus far, looking forward to the rest of it.

Re: Round Up: The Order: 1886 PS4 Reviews Fail to Make History
@arnoldlayne83 I know right? The reason why I haven't replayed it is because of how scary the whole experience is.

Yeah, what the above guy said, there's eleven reviews in metacritic that have given it 8+. What gives?!
