Yep, this got me on a number of occasions, as a dad of daughters it's your worst nightmare. Powerful stuff.

I got about twenty mins in and gave up. The dialogue was terrible, and it just made me feel like this was 90210 but with douchey, hipster art school kids. Who irritate me.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I don't think anyone really needed this game. I was a huge (HUGE) Oddworld fan, and when picking up my Knights of the Old Republic Xbox bundle, I bought Munch's Oddysee with a grin on my face thinking that I was in good hands. And even then, through the glaze of a fanboys goggles, I was bloody disappointed, so I can only presume that its not aged well at all.

I quite liked it, in a stupid tongue in cheek kind of way. It's better than the weird bass/epilepsy inducing flash cuts that dominate movie and games trailers these days.

@ShogunRok you raise some valid points Rob but I'm not sure if I agree with all of them. As a full time worker, and a dad of four no less, my play time is pretty limited. Saying that, just dipping into the title periodically has enabled me to reach level 31 with minimal ease and effort.

I totally agree that the game needs more variety, and some of it's design choices are a bit bizarre, but I have hope (possibly blind hope) that ultimately the game will one day be good if not great. If not, we can always come back in ten years and you can say I told you so

I was fairly indifferent towards VR until I played Elite Dangerous on my mates Rift last week. It is definitely the future, and it will forever be one of those few moments where I was totally blown away.

I logged in about an hour ago to play Destiny, haven't had any issues at my end.

I really like titanfall. I recently picked it up with a sunset overdrive bundle and its the game I've defintely played the most. I for one would welcome a ps4 release.

I just hope it isn't something that gets preferential treatment on the Xbox...

I'm not a huge batman fan, but that actually gave me chills. The part where he 180's and drops the scientist off before blazing back in? The batmobile sound effects through that whole sequence are SPOT on. Now that Rocksteady are back in charge I literally can't wait to get my grubby paws on it.

@viciousarcanum dear gods I hope you're right, I was a big 360 fan before, but it was right about THEN (Cirque nonsense), and I think there was another incident that involved Usher, where I decided... Yeah maybe I should give my ps3 a shot.

I ahvent tried it it since the patch auto installed... I might just copy me save to a usb stick and have a go. If it screws up I'll reinstall then.

@AyeHaley commiserations dude. Being holed up with back problems myself (7 weeks and counting), I know how reliant I've become on these boxes for stimulus and distraction.

If it's any consolation, as a euro citizen I recently had to send my vita back for repairs, and it was done returned within 7 days.

I'm mad for it, I still enjoy Destiny and I'm really looking forward to more content.

@Munkyknuts I'm not arguing that the game has shortcomings, it's frustrating to see what are effectively great foundations that are begging to be built upon. I'm hoping that through updates and future content the game will become more fleshed out. And again, I understand why it wouldnt appeal to people given its repetition at the moment, so I dont begrudge you for not wanting to play further. In my experience however there are still a very vocal minority who will happily attempt to verbally eviscerate you for still currently enjoying what it is. If they don't like it, move on, there's no reason to continue hating, and giving the people who don't like it a hard time.

Like everyone above, I hate the expectations and bashing that's currently occurring. It's getting to the point where you're being ostracized by the gaming community for actually liking games like Destiny, as if you should hate it by default.

@Midzark go into settings, psn, and restore you licences. I had that problem but this sorted it.

@ShogunRok yesterday, Destiny for me was an absolute nightmare. Since launch I've had zero problems, but yesterday I had coconut errors, badgers, zebras, berries, every bloody animal connection error under the sun.

The other issue for atm is receiving a message from a friend, but my message menu is taking ages to actually display the content of the message itself... Is anyone else having this problem?

I still desperately want media support and streaming. As soon as that deploys I can ditch my archaic 360.

@Bad-MuthaAdebis if you're a fan of the movies, then it's a no brainer, I LOVE the films, well the first three, so for me it's like game porn. At the very least its "good", after all 6/10 is still 3/5.

@Bad-MuthaAdebis it was more so the fact that I'd been teased with purple engrams on numerous occasions. The fact that I scored a purple on the first earth strike mission was vaguely comforting. I've got no qualms walking the long road, just as long as I get a bone thrown my way now and again!

Within minutes of playing I finally got my.first legendary. Despite being a level 24 and playing for over 20 hours, I lucked out every bloody time...

Mad for it, dust and D&D have been wanted by yours truly for quite some time.

@sinalefa you're missing out. In comparison, miiverse is a thriving community full of good people who don't try to cyber-rape you.

Like everyone above, I'm actually looking forward to this one, if anything because it doesn't look like your typical COD game. Check in some sci-fi elements and futuristic machinery in anything, and I'm sold.

@Jazzer94 I'm still on the fence about Xbox one. It's not.blind fanboyism, I've tinkered with my brothers who swears a lot of improvements have made since launch, but asides from the media playback stuff, it still looks the same to me. So theres not much that's really wanting me to buy it. Although, Sunset Overdrive does look very fun...
