@Tsushima For sure SMTs are more like Souls game. You must understand and master the combat mechanics, grind a little, and get good at making strategic correct decisions, otherwise it's brutally a game over. Persona are more like fancy JRPG with stories based on character development, but where the combat is not developed and just there to bring some action between a tunnel of dialogue. In Persona 5 it's only at the very end that battles start to look like a SMT one.
Really loved SMT5, and I'm the kind of person preferring it compared to the Persona spin-off series, which honestly are a chore to progress on after the fancy artistic coating starts to get old. That said, performance was really poor, it's clearly a game that should not have been released on Switch.
And all of this come after Microsoft spending an enormous amount of money to get Elder Scrolls or Call of Duty Xbox's exclusive. Their level of hypocrisy is astonishing.
By the way, in France 700 Ubisoft workers are on strike since the past two days. Basically they got a miserable salary raise and were told to produce more, while at the same time the incompetent executives got plenty despite their poor management. I haven't seen an article about that on Push Square.
Probably one of the best game I ever played. What a masterpiece. They pushed the concept of RPG so far that even a game like Baldur's Gate 3 looks pale in comparison. That said, not a game for everybody, it is very special and I can understand that people don't click on it.
Honestly, when I was on the market for a new console, I was open for Xbox and PS5 and opted for the latter because of ... the controller that looked better built. But now when I see Microsoft's attitude, I just have hate for them and their politics. You are pathetic, I will never support you. I'm not saying that I like Nintendo or Sony politics either, but at least they have some dignity and sense of honor.
My intuition is that the DLC will be Elden Ring 2, but you need the 1 already completed to play the sequel. I mean, after 2 years hopefully it will be more than a couple of new weapons and dungeons like for Bloodborne...
"Micro transactions should stay micros", indeed .... Recently I bought Elden Ring for $20, and I can't imagine that GaaS are selling useless cosmetic outfits for the same price as such a masterpiece that required so much work. People should really start to value what they are paying for.
I was looking at sales recently, and found that games from From Software, even the old ones, never go below 50% off and retain their value for years. In contrast, all Ubisoft games have deep sales, like 90% off, with some games reduced from $70 to a couple of bucks. Is it how you treat your AAAA production? Is it so bad that they don't even have the value of a candy bar?
@KundaliniRising333 This. I have exactly the same feeling. So far we have just seen pictures and videos of the butt and breast of the protagonist, or from the barely naked woman who served as a model (without her face...). I can definitely understand the average teenage boys getting excited (hey I was in the same state when Tomb Raider was released), but now for me it's more skepticism than anything else.
This is the best rally game for the casual driver. They did a good job to balance fun and realistic physics modeling. Also it contains a lot of content, it's not locked behind micro transactions. But graphics and UI are not great though, that's true, and the game released clearly unfinished though it's getting better and better. Still, I prefer this game compared to Dirt Rally 2
Definitely waiting for reviews first. I really hope this is a good game, it looks exciting, but the generic tone of the art direction plus the tropism of the camera on the protagonist's posterior are red flags for me. Wait and see.
For Persona 5, when I found out that the additional story from the DLC I bought was locked out of my 120 hours playthrough because I missed one conversation with the boring doctor before a specific day in the story, I told myself I would never support again Atlus.
For this role, I would have expected at least a Taekwondo practitioner, not a barely naked skinny model from your classical adult magazine. I wonder if this game has any interest for someone above 15 years old.
Personally I have 0 interest in the American culture and all of this superhero stuff, so I don't even bother with this game. But I understand that people in the US or UK will love it.
"live service" is not an excuse. When Ultima Online went out, there was a pre-release period where journalists and a selection of people could play the game. And the server would reset the day of the official launch. Same for Asheron's Call, it was open for everyone during a couple of days before the official release so that people could try and provide feedback for day 1. From my experience, publishers not sending a review copy is synonym of a big fail in perspective.

I love how they are "cost effective" in their communication. That's the privilege to have a true fan base.

Re: Gallery: Our Favourite Cosplay at MCM Birmingham
Melina (I suppose) at number 16 is pretty good. Simple and realistic, it could come from a Middle Age museum.

Still wearing the stupid short. To protect her knees I guess.
