Yeah, good luck with that, if we are talking about traditional publishers only Nintendo got lucky with mobile, some of their IP can be adapted to that business model without too many problems.

Wonder how much of that was actually a bug and how much is just people trying to blow things out of proportion.

What Sony did is just plain stupid.
To put it in a money perespective, Salt and Sacrifice now costs around 10% of the minimum wage in both Brazil and Turkey.

Regional prices should be a thing.

I honestly fail to see what the problem is, most studios have a demo build for presentations and stuff like that, it will cost them almost nothing to release said demo.

Well, I can't expect too many third party titles so I'll stick with IPs Sony owns:

Yeah, I'm also betting on the new logo being a placeholder.
The old logo is too iconic for Capcom to get rid of it.

If it wasn't a feature planned from the start then it might take a while. I mean, even the SSD expansion took some months and it was a planned feature.

We won't even lose Sekiro since it is not an Activison IP.
But yeah, Sony should make or comission a new game to replace CoD just in case things goes south.

Release a product that actually looks finished and polished and then the toxicity will go away, but I guess that's difficult.
Also, as someone as someone who doesn't have a "time off" if ***** goes down during holiday can't say I relate to that shoddy excuse.

It has been one year and I've yet to see a PSN sale where PS5 exclusives dropped to 50% or less.

So yeah, they are getting stingy, at least for now.
Maybe when PS5 stocks normalize we will see some real discounts.

Pretty common practice to "test" your games in other platforms.
Anyone here remembers the Gears 3 PS3 rumours? It all started because they were testing some tech in PS3 hardware.

God of War is 3 years old now, holy cow!
But yeah, I doubt we will be seeing a D1 release on PC on future titles as it may hurt the hardware sales.

Looks like sounds and animations were ripped out straight from From Software games, especially Sekiro and Dark Souls.

The data is real, the games aren't.
Their names are probably just there to fill database entries.

I mean, they do have some Wii U entries as well and we all know how Nintendo operates.

Maybe an update to Second Son and First Light.
You know, 60FPS patch and stuff like that.

Besides God of War, Horizon and GT7 I think maybe they'll surprise us with something else. Who knows, maybe we'll get a Spider 2 teaser.

Not really rotten but WB as whole isn't doing that well, AT&T even considered selling them.

Sure, people could pull something like that even on PS1, after all we did get Soul Reaver who has a similar mechanic and zero loading time between transitions.

Problem is: could you pull that off with the same level of fidelity on PS3/PS4?

Bundle it with PSNow and/or other services and offer more discounts.

Yeah, I doubt that, they own Funimation since 2017 and we've yet to see something like that.

I think Sabrent Rocket Plus, Samsung 980 and WD-Black sn850 are also compatible since they have up to 7000 MB/s read speed.
Also, they are 75 bucks cheaper than Seagate.

Seems like every company wants an Avengers/Godfall/Outriders fiasco to call their own.

Actually they only charge anything if the guy play on Sony platforms and buy content on another, i.e play fortnite on PS4/PS5 and buy V-Bucks on PC/Xbox/whatever.

So far, Sony acquired one developer studio (Housemarquee) and one support studio (Nixxes), maybe we'll get another support studio, but this one will focus on mobile.

I'm not upset about Starfield itself, I'm upset because Starfield's situation sets on stone something very basic: no more Bethesda games on other platforms. Doom on Nintendo Switch is such a technological wonder that we'll never see again because of this BS Microsoft is pulling.

Unless you have FOMO or something like that, you can just wait for a discount. Also, since both price and release date were given out beforehand can't you just plan your purchase ahead?

I honestly just can't see the problem with the $70 price tag, if anything my father probably payed a lot more for my games during PS1 era and I didn't saw him complain about it.

I know what he meant to say, but there are better ways to say: "Look, we have tons of good IP that we might want to take for mobile."

I would take it more seriously if it was Activision, EA or someone else talking, but not Microsoft, they forgot PC gaming even existed for almost 15 years.

Wonder if it'll be a native PS5 app or an API that betting sites can use. The former may cause problems for Sony if real currency is involved, the latter won't.

"People" seems too eager to bash Sony about the timed exclusive thing, they just forget it is a two-way contract, Sony has to do something beyond just pumping money, the have to help to support the developer.

RE Village for example, for the demo exclusivity Sony had to help promoting the game, same deal was applied to Shenmue 3, Nioh, FF7 Remake, Death Standing and so on.

Microsoft is the only one I know who just pumps the money for exclusivity and, well, just dumps the developer afterwards. The Medium and The Falconeer are great examples of that.
