Game seem's pretty good so far I come from the age of pre-2008 MMO's so I'm completely at home with overly-tough challenges (seems many people ridiculed its repetitiveness and unnecessary difficulty, among other things).

I'm really liking it. I have already uploaded quite a few videos to Facebook for people to be able to see just what PS4 brings to the table. Have yet to upload Knack footage, but I uploaded a beautiful level of Resogun where I did particularly well, a few Killzone videos, and some Injustice fights between me and my younger brother. The people who actually care to watch them on my page think it's rather cool.

I love the new interface, though it took me a while to find out how to delete uploaded videos. You have to go to system, then something like "software management" I think it's called. You can't delete from the upload video screen.

Resogun (trying to get higher on the leaderboards... I... muuuuust...), Warframe, and Injustice mainly. Gonna try blacklight tonight probably as well

I never picked up the game, but it's cool nonetheless that stuff like this is possible. Maybe a similar patch will be coming to BF4? Well, either way, Resogun will ALWAYS be 1080p, even w/o a patch (#42 on the leaderboards for the first world )

I haven't played the Uncharted series myself, but my little bro, who played them extensively, seems to think we may see the return of your "companion" from the heist in the beginning of Uncharted 2. Not sure myself, just throwing that lot in there.

@get2sammyb It's an amazing game. So fun and addicting, and the first game I loaded to initiate my mother and brother into the next-generation of greatness. They were both blown away, especially my mother who's a diehard Galaga veteran XD

My PS4 does get a bit heated, but not to the point where I'm really concerned

When I plugged it in I got SO scared because no picture was popping up on the television @@ turns out I had the TV set to HDMI 2 and it was plugged into HDMI 1 ..

I grabbed mine last night and it plays amazingly. There were some connection issues (expected) but I download both patch 1.5 and 1.06(whatever that one did). Knack also experienced a few framerate drops during the first cutscene and then was perfect after that. Very fun game, hugely undeserving of a 5.9 so far.
I managed to download Contrast, Resogun, and Warframe without too much trouble, and I played Warframe. Great corridor shooter, it's fun but kind of complicated at times because they only explain the controls to you, not the shops or how to customize or anything of the sort. Have yet to try Killzone or Injustice, sadly.

Persona 4: Arena - An amazing fighting game that was super-accessible to both rookies and veterans. And it had Persona 4's cast, what's not to love?

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Huge battles and great teamplay. This game took up so many of my hours...

Little Big Planet 2 - So many options, this game really got me thinking creatively.

Hatsune Miku's Project Diva F - This game was an iffy "well my girlfriend likes it..." buy that grew on me very fast. One of the best rhythm games I've ever played.

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale - This game had crazy potential, and did little to nothing with it. That's not its fault though, as it was immensely enjoyable and quite a blast, but I blame mainly Superbot and SSM for not listening to fans more when making the roster; how do you make an "all-stars" game and completely leave the fans out of it? Regardless, it was one of the most fun multiplayer games of the generation (replaced Brawl for parties held at my house) and I feel that they may revisit the possibility of a sequel. As Parappa (my main) said: "You gotta BELIEVE!"

Super honorable mention to Catherine and Final Fantasy 13-2 though.

@ShogunRok I was on the IGN comments section when this article came up... my gosh the Xbots everywhere blowing it way way out of proportion. I mean literally the comments was flooded with "720p >0p" and "All PS4's are bricked". The sad part is, people buy into that crap.

Oh, and even with news like this, they were still passing around spoof articles about the matter as fact. Then to round it all off, Jeff the Killer scream flashes left and right.

It was a warzone the likes of which haven't been seen before, even on IGN, the forefront of fanboy wars.

I am really excited for this one as well. The video you guys put up a while back showing the 4 guys vs the dragon was amazing, especially that time stop magic and the cyclones to counter the fire. Sadly, I'm guessing such a powerful boon as stopping time may set me back a few real dollars. I can't imagine magic that powerful will be free :/ well, balancing and whatnot, let's see some new weapon skills ^_^

@Lelouch That is true I guess. I forgot that with Microsoft flopping itself into bad moves left and right, sometimes it's hard to find something legitimate to complain about. Still though, the lack of basic logic I've seen is rather impressive.

So many people on the web trying to play this up. These things are included so that they can be enforced if it happens to lead to a large issue: it eliminates a potential loophole. Still, people try their hardest to see the worst in it. You know they're still using that "red line of death" photo that's been confirmed fake to say that the PS4 has overheating problems?

@get2sammyb I don't know why it took so long for something like this to happen, GameStop has been selling some download codes in the stores and online for a while now. They're usually cheaper than buying the game over the network too. I can't wait to see the implications of this become a full reality

@Shellybird27 It's so messy and cluttered to me. In the old PS store at least, everything had its place and was categorized so that they were all easy to find. In this one I've had trouble finding particular sections many times because of the layout. The "highlights" before you enter most section too just seem like unnecessary distractions.

@Cowboysfan-22 I can't wait either. Especially with the Warframe starter pack free for PS+ members, and all the games I'll have ready for it already. I fear Sam has rubbed his Resogun enthusiasm off on me though as that's what's foremost in my mind at the moment @_@

@k_andersen @belmont JRPG's would really make me go crazy. Sure you can aim for that Gold Trophy (common) for beating the campaign... OR you could go for that Gold Trophy (Ultra Rare) for playing the game while adhering to the rules of the ODINS challenge. For those who don't remember that, it's One Day In No Saves Technically speaking, this system also changes the trophy count from 4 types to 16 o.o

@Delfino The greatest universe ever created in a video game was that of Blasto. I mean, sure it was badly rendered, horribly controlled, and a tad misogynistic, but you played the WHOLE GAME as Phil Hartman, whose cheesy one-liners permeate everything you do; And in the end, that's all you really need.

I've solved the puzzle of these teasers! There's only 2 possible solutions: an Assassin's Creed x Street Fighter crossover game, or a Street Fighter sitcom featuring all your favorite fighter as cab drivers who are looking for classier, pirate-themed threads

You accidentally kept writing "we" instead of "I" To be honest though, your enthusiasm has rubbed off on me. What started out to me as "Yeah I'd like to play that game at some point, seems good" has become "I'm downloading this AS SOON AS I GET MY PS4." The game does look amazingly fun, and it has the added greatness of being one of the small number of local coop games at PS4's launch. Next Friday will be a blast.

@MadchesterManc I just figure that "If it bothers me, I shouldn't bother others with it." I despised Vocaloid before my girlfriend started cosplaying Miku and directed me to the first song of theirs I liked (World's End Umbrella). Even now, some of the songs, mainly the ones I mentioned, I will tolerate to try to get a perfect, but I find them too annoying for me to play for fun (like Acute, I find that video hilariously dramatic and sometimes replay it while giving them different wacky accessories). My tastes aren't your tastes though, I'm just saying I wouldn't listen to a small number of those songs willingly XP

@get2sammyb Luckily I only have Disgaea D2, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning on my backlog. I've started all of these games, but I haven't done much of anything in any of them. @get2sammyb That's great! I may end up following that instead if I can't see it live. I've yet to miss a live Sony conference this year, but if I have to choose, I'd choose midnight release + reading the event over missing the release but watching the conference. Thanks for the heads-up

Been planning this for a while actually. I took the weekend off, and will be heading to Gamestop after classes around 8 or 9pm to get in line. A few friends also pre-ordered from there, so we'll be chatting for the most part until launch. I'll also try to get that launch stream running on my phone, that'd be a great way to spend the hour before getting the system.

@MadchesterManc I miiiiiiiiiight double dip, but i'll only consider it if all the extra songs are inherently in there. To be honest it's a great game on console and I imagine it'd be a blast on the go. Some of those songs though (I'm looking at you Summer Idol, Rin-chan Now, and Weekender Girl) are very annoying to listen to, so I can't imagine playing this without headphones on at all times. @_@

I am REALLY liking Sony's PS4 advertising attitude. I was getting the feeling they'd forgotten how to advertise when the Vita was released :/

@Lelouch Remember, they're talking about streaming here. My guess is that you'll get limited-functionality remote-play of PS4 games for non-Vita devices, and get a similar streaming function to the one they announced for PS1/2/3 games on PS4. In this way, a PS4 is still mandatory to play PS4 games, but they can continue capitalizing on previous software.

The Iphone can do youtube, but what if, suddenly, youtube and flash/html5/etc support was removed for Iphone 6? The backlash would be pretty large, with many people commenting on just why was it even removed. According to the link posted by DoublezZ01, though, mp3 support should be coming soon
