I've been 'dipping my toes' in pc gaming recently with a couple of mini pcs and the oled steamdeck and there's a lot to like. Tbf my main focus is emulation but I've been impressed with how much free stuff is available. Obviously no charge for online but the amount of free games each month from epic, gog and amazon (if you have prime) imo is better than either plus or gp and I subscribe to both. If I ever decide to go 1 system only it will definitely be pc

I'd rather they just shortened the lifespan of the core consoles to 5 or 6 years and move into the ps6. The ps4 pro made sense due to 4k being heavily adopted but this seems to be mostly a framerate boost (probably some better bloody ray tracing as well). If it looks good I'll still get it though, I'm a weak weak man

On a site full of gaming enthusiasts I find it hard to believe that the majority aren't familiar with emulation which makes collections like these redundant. Even if you only have a reasonably basic phone you can be playin simpsons hit and run in a few minutes.

I gave it an 8 so far. I really only played 6 hours but 3 of that was sabacc

I think consoles days are numbered but not because of pc or mobile, it'll definitely be online only and able to run through multiple devices. Gamepass on firesticks is a scary image of the future

@ApostateMage Sabacc has properly suckered me in, hate having to leave the table after every win/loss though. Agree with you guys on the lockpicking, really easy but kinda fun

@get2sammyb if you enjoy side scrolling beat-em-up's you'll love it. Openbor is a free open source side scroller engine based on streets of rage (the bor bit actually stands for beats of rage) and there's literally hundreds of this style of game based on loads of franchises. He-man is the best of the bunch for me but there's loads of marvel, dc, MK, SF games etc. Plus they'll run on a potato...😁

Looks good 👍 Crisis Evil 1 - 3 are great resi side strollers too. Would highly recommend openbor, the he-man game is fantastic

I went quest 3 this gen but I have a steering wheel rig connected to the psvr 1 for gran turismo and would be tempted to upgrade for that alone but think I'll wait and see what the price is around black friday, maybe some better bundle deals...

Playing days gone again ATM. Plat'ed years ago on ps4 and fancied a replay, looks great on ps5 . A truly fantastic game that didn't get the recognition it deserved
