The console bundles just kept selling and selling in the UK, noticed more stock had arrived today and a work colleague ordered one in front of me at work today being delivered Tuesday.
After I tipped him off new stock had arrived this morning.

Fantastic if these Sony top end AAA games keep selling and the consoles then Sony will continue to keep making more.
Bring on the next big AAA from Sony Studios Insomniac.

Totally agree HFW is a top game. One off the best open worlds I have ever explored.

Currently HFW for me as will be starting GOWR this weekend. So obviously that could change.

Wow I have seen PS5 consoles sell quick
But to watch the PS5 GOWR console bundles just diminish and sell so quick today, after nearly 2 years from initial release, was pretty staggering. UK.

I get your point, it is what the top tier Sony service should do, day one releases.

Just waiting for my new Dolby Atmos sound system to arrive tomorrow, then set it up.
Then GOD OF WAR. I want to experience this at its best.

Just like all the other services.
I don’t want to play old games, I played the ones I wanted to back in the day.
Thankfully we have a good few top end AAA new games to buy and play.

It’s 60% in my own opinion that’s all.
Nothing to get excited about.
Game is a failure to me as I won’t be buying it. I only play the best of the best. Why bother with this and my money when I can spend my time and money with GOWR.

Looking dam fine on the C2 very sharp, fluid, amazing blacks and colours and fully VRR.
Just need a new sound bar now, then I’m complete.

Had to go get another PS5, but managed to get the newest model CFI-12**. So dam whisper quiet even on its side.

Yes it’s barely a 6. Just sonic hype I’m afraid.

Being reading some other reviews as well.
Seems it’s not all that a great game.
Will be skipping this for certain.

Graphically the Nintendo Switch.
The series x has plenty of power.

Will be playing on PS5, but wonder how long Sony will keep doing cross generation games from their studios.
Maybe spider man 2.
See you if look at like this, PS5 games even though cross generation can’t be matched on the competitions consoles, one due to power and the other due to god knows what and also Sonys talented studios.
So if competition can’t match them, why not stay cross generation from a business perspective.

To me Elden Ring is overrated.
Ok I have not played but watched lots of gamers playing it. It seems very old tech wise to look at for a start, open world wise.
Just go play HFW open world and there is a massive difference quality wise.

If GOWR was the first in the new series, having no GOW2018 it would have scored a little higher.
Also this year it seems to me scores are a bit stricter than 4 years ago.

In the UK they still selling almost as soon as they have stock.
Smyths toys had preorders for the GOWR console bundles they all went the same day. No longer available now.
They have the big AAA exclusive games and the FIFA and COD crowd so it’s like a double bang for sales.

Perhaps Bungie need to start a new FPS for PlayStation only and move forward.

Well it’s all simple know as it shows you on the dashboard when you go over the game, what console version you have downloaded.

I thought Spider man 2 was PS5 only.
But you got me thinking, when you look at say HFW and GOWR then look at the competition consoles, Switch and Series S/X graphically they can’t touch either of those gross generation games from a PS5 perspective.

So Sony could well go cross generation with Spider man 2 and still by a long way have the best looking console games out there.

Now if the competition from a graphical standard was matching or better than Sonys top games then Sony might go PS5 only, but the competition doesn’t and won’t have at all this generation, even though Sony are producing cross generation games like HFW and GOWR.

Yes there is always a soft spot for Nintendo and some of their top games, they are so well executed.
I always wanted a Nintendo system that has the power of the PS5. Imagine the worlds they could create for Zelda, Metriod and Mario and how they would look and play. They would just pull you into that environment. Alas that will never happen for many reasons at Nintendo HQ.
Yes a trophy type system and better online would go along way for Nintendo.

Had every Nintendo console since day one apart from the NES. Had some great gaming with them.
But they definitely don’t want to be to stubborn and do a Wii U again. Even though I had one.

I think Nintendo will go hybrid again and Switch 2 type device. They have a very good market to themselves with the hybrid console and would be crazy to go away from that.
The only other option for them is handheld only.

Absolutely, about time they took real advantage of the PS5.
I think Spider-Man 2 is PS5 only?
But I wouldn’t be shocked if that changed to PS4/PS5 but I hope not.

It’s was top in USA and Europe as well last week.
It’s all about supply. The UK had good supply but it’s getting very low again.
Probably will more consoles with the GOWR console bundle coming Wednesday.

Wow Sony you making things a tough buy.
£480 PS5
£70 Games
£200 Edge controller
£530 PSVR2

I guess just like the Edge Controller it will sell initially at that price to early adopters etc.
A good thing would be to get PSVR2 in the shops with demo pods, I would love to have a go then make a decision from there being honest.
Then I would be sure to pay the money if I really enjoyed the experience.

Wow, no wonder there is such a fuss being made over this game.

I have solved the issue.
Sony need to buy all the series x laying around.
Strip the chips out they require and make some more PS5 😂

Gonna be honest did expect better from Sony from a manufacturing point of view and obtaining chip supplies etc. Considering they are a major electronics manufacturer and most of those chips are supplied from the Asian market.

I have noticed in the UK Japanese cars seem more available than other makes of car outside of Japan, which leads me to believe they are obtaining chips easier. And why wouldn’t Japan see to itself first and keep up its exports GPD.

It’s simple they need to make more and get them into shops.
Still a shortage overall in the UK at most major chains.
It sort of comes and goes, maybe some for a week then nothing for two weeks and so on.

Not even seen these up for sale yet in the UK to order or pre-order.

I think Sonys main concerns is not just the game realising on Xbox, as it does now.
It’s all devices and game pass and cloud gaming
Advertise that correctly and market it well, like clever, almost pretending it’s exclusive to Xbox and game pass, then what do you need a PlayStation for COD for and even does PlayStation have the COD game anymore.

It’s been done before, clever advertising makes a third party game look exclusive when it’s not.

I think Microsoft will be cool with that.
They will get all the console bundle deals, all the advertising and the dlc first etc.
Also day one game pass.
It massively helped the PS4 sales having all the above of course not Game pass and it will help the Xbox COD casual market.

Do you not have an option to turn crossplay off on PS versions?
I know the Xbox version does because someone posted it on PureXbox. But it is in the console system settings rather than game settings.

We all not it’s a a good business move, especially when the game bundled is digital only.

My point they cleverly have the forced console bundle first HFW and Now FIFA 23 digital game downloaded.
That then reduces the amount of consoles available to buy solo on their own. Which sell out quickly, which then leaves only the bundle option.

So why don’t they just sell PS5 console on its own and let the customer decide if they want to buy a game and what game and physical.

Because Sony are being clever.
