PS3 had the best iteration of the store, Before it was updated into the slow, clunky, laggy mess it became in 2011-2012, I believe? Also, it's embarrassing PS4 never had a wishlist option. At least PS5 does. The sorting and filtering has always been poor. Many products don't even show up where one would expect them too. It's like no one on staff did any proofreading and checking.

Sony does devalue their games very quickly, which doesn't help. I got LOU2 a few months later for 50% off. These days with s-t wages, rising costs of living, $10 added to new game prices, and a personal backlog already a mile long, I'm not buying a whole lot at full price anymore.

@TrueAssassin86x You can't be serious. The Switch was always marketed at Adults. That stereotype hasn't been true since the SNES days. PS are the ones who restrict stuff way more than Nintendo does these days.

@Flaming_Kaiser They're only "complete" until the developer decides to add more content. Streets of Rage 4 being a perfect example. Untitled Goose Game, which wasn't LRG, had the same issue with its co-op mode. Don't fall for the marketing hype, it's never guaranteed.

Vita: Great hardware, mostly terrible software support. Thankfully Switch solved both it's problems.

Many typical replies from the "Sony can do no wrong" faithful here. I was already pissed enough when Nintendo abandoned their virtual console business model. They were the champions of BWC until the Switch, though I blame that on the media format change.
It wouldn't be so bad if one could buy PS1/2/3 games on PS5 or PS4, but one can't do that either. PS Now and game streaming in general is still far from ideal, even on a decent connection many still have issues with streaming.

Hundreds of legally obtainable classics are about to disappear, which is a sad thought to any real gamer or advocate of preservation.

As time goes on, I will buy less digital content from Sony. This company continues to massively underwhelm and disappoint. Typical Sony and their arrogance when they get back on top.

The original PS3 store, before the relaunch several years later, was both very speedy and easy to find stuff.
Now, Sony has no clue how to design a store or a decent interface.

Who made the Switch the success it is? Gamers did. Sure the concept was NIntendo's, but they clearly struck lighting with this concept. The natural evolution of this concept would be to have a base unit at home that can run everything on par with the competition, plus run all or most of that software on a portable, detachable unit as well. If someone makes that hardware concept a reality, good f-ing night competition.

You should be more worried about Sony's complacency and lacking services. They could learn much from Nintendo and Xbox.

Hehe, it seems Microsoft started a trend. The PC market is too big to ignore. No issues with me.

I'm glad I waited, though as PSVR is locked to one device, a PC VR set is more desirable personally.
