Finished Ghost of Tsushima’s DLC. Eagle storyline was brilliant. So some cleanup on collectibles. Dusted off Tales of Arise. Forgot how much I hate the spike between enemies and bosses. But love the entire aesthetic of that game.

On Switch finally finished the demo for Triangle Strategy so I bought the whole shebang since I can’t get enough of it. So that and the first AI will keep me busy.

Still want more Weird West on GamePass as I loved what I played.

Switch will be me fighting the temptation to buy Triangle Strategy! My backlog is big enough! So probably more Little Noah.

PS5 sees the lovely Nobody Saves the World, RE2 Remake, and tons of Multiversus with my mate. Maybe more Tales of Arise too

On Series S I need to get back to Weird west.

I’ll finish up Stray and Ultra Age on PS5 this weekend before moving on to more No key Saves the World, or my second casual Elden Ring playthrough. Who knows.

Switch sees Neon White and AI Somnium Files

My Series S Weird West is calling me and I need to purchase the Hot Wheels for Forza. I hear it’s sublime.

@LiamCroft we are talking about an important opening scene of an almost decade old game that only the hardcore like us would find or see online. The casual first time Last of Us player won’t be along until the HBO series arrives, which is this is partly in preparation for if you consider the larger universe of cross media Sony wants to employ.

For some reason I chose to do the rng of GoW to get anchor fogs. It’s less frustrating this time around because I haven’t just played thirty hours of GoW prior. Between runs I’ll be knocking out Nobody Saves the World, playing Neon White on Switch, and being a filthy mobile gamer with Punishing Gray Raven as I need 2B, A2, and 9S in the crossover event.

@BlackMayge everything you said resonated with me. Raising two infants leaves me with short pick up and play sessions. For the same reason check out Dungeons of Dreadrock on Switch. It’s a light puzzler you may enjoy with a slow pace and plenty of hints when you get stuck. I enjoyed all 5-6 hours with it and got it on sale for 5$ though I’d gladly have paid the 10$

@add286 I’d agree with almost all you said, but would add that spend enough time in the ER Reddit and you’ll see plenty of people pick apart the game. At one point there was a thread about how it stacked against other Souls games and Bloodborne and DS3 were often mentioned as just better designed. I think my issue with ER is that they took on a massive project and needed another year. There’s so much cut content that has been found because they clearly wanted to get this out. But yeah BB is peak FS design in many ways. Sekiro too.

Last few menus in GT7, it’ll be in regular rotation anyway.

Beyond that I’m lost. Elden Ring left a hole in my gaming heart. Maybe some Ghostwire Tokyo, maybe Nobody Saves the World, maybe Outriders. Who knows. I’ve never played RE4, so I may finally dive into that classic on my PS5 since I know when the remake is coming. It’s basically the only mainline RE other than 6 I’ve never played.

Finally earned my Elden Ring platinum! Now I have a huge gaping hole to fill because nothing feels as satisfying as that world.

Moving on to finish the GT7 cafe, working my way through Nobody Saves the World, and I just bought Ghostwire Tokyo on sale.

On my switch I’ll occasionally hit up Dungeons of Dreadrock (fantastic puzzler) and One Piece 3 (I needed a mindless mosou). Also excited to play more of Ashen.

Maybe I’ll get back to GG Strive at some point too! Too much to play!

@UltimateOtaku91 I was really hunting for better armor in Elden Ring for a long time. My suggestion is progress the game and the side quests. Armor feels like it really kicks in and becomes abundant and varied mid game. Once I did several NPC quests and got to certain areas I found a nice array.

Elden Ring has me squaring up against the notorious Malena this weekend. Finishing up cafes in GT7, but really hooked on Nobody Saves the World right now.

On the side I’m ashamed to admit I bought One Piece 3 on Switch for 5 bucks. I’ve never watched the show but wanted a Mosou for on the go. Also everyone needs to check out Dungeons of Dreadrock. Phenomenal puzzle indie.

Considering I just experience the birth of my son, I've now got two little ones at home, so if there is time between my lack of sleep, I will be working on becoming the Elden Lord in Elden Ring, taking a few more laps in GT7, or trying to wrap up the platinum in Shadow Warrior 3, which on PSNOW has made it worth playing. It's like taking the B team on Doom Eternal and asking them to make a smaller, fart joke filled game.

Re: Video: Why Prey Is Arkane's Best Game

It’s weird to read this praise on the back of hearing Sacred Symbols Chris Ray Gun praise the game. I tend to agree though. As an immersive sim it’s fantastic. Dishonored is my cup of tea for the steampunk aesthetic but Arkane makes great immersive games.

Re: PS Plus PS5, PS4 Games for May 2022 Available Now

Great month again for me. I had not purchased any of these games, but wanted to play all 3. Sometimes I put a game on the backlog and don't buy it, but wishlist it to buy when I feel the time is right to buy. For me, these arrived before I could buy. If you're not a day and date guy with indie games, or with certain titles, you can eventually wind up with some decent plus backlog games.

We tend to buy immediately as gamers, even if we don't always intend to play, and on the other end can be risk averse as well to playing or buying smaller stuff, so Plus is perfect for that.

For me it’s always Elden Ring and GT7. Working on completing both as thoroughly as possible.

On the flip side enjoying Shadow Warriors 3 as a palette cleanser and….

Finally dove into the House In Fata Morgana to see what all the fuss was about when it came out.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

@awp69 Came here to say EA just added FIFA 22 to EA Play so not a surprise, and Curse of the Dead Gods was on Gamepass, so also not a surprise.

Overall for me, makes sense. Solid month as I enjoy FIFA when I can, and did not dive in the last few years. The other two are a great way to try something different out in the lull between major releases. I'm happy to play games like this I want to buy but prioritize purchases and budgets for other games instead.
