I'm planning on playing through this series in chronological order. I'm actually looking forward to this one. I know it's not the survival horror people wanted, but I don't mind taking a detour to just play an action game instead, and from what I've heard, this game does have some really fun action sequences.

@Brasilkilla Nope, you're not the only one. Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell had a great thing going with Future Soldier and Blacklist. I just hope a future Splinter Cell doesn't go the open world route. Future Soldier is by far my favorite as well. Loved the mix of stealth and shootouts, and the optical camo was fun to use.

I would much rather have another Future Soldier with mission based structure. I loved that game so much. Wildlands is kinda meh in my opinion.

@Zukato Yeah, its campaign was awesome. I'd take more of that.

I'll probably grab some Resident Evil games. I've been wanting to try out more of the series. I just wish Resident Evil 2 were going to be discounted a bit more.

What shotguns are available in game? Spas 12? Benelli M4? Mossberg 590? These are the important questions!

But are they filming it in a single take?

Footage of this game got me to try the whole series before playing this one, and when I did get to this game, it was so awesome knowing the whole backstory. It's an amazing game!

Wish this sale had been a thing a year ago when I was just getting into the series and decided to play them all in chronological order.

Love this game so much, I often listen to the soundtrack while exercising. Just watched some of the Marvel Thor movies too, and it's making me want to play this game.

@redd214 I just find Ubisoft's open world structure really boring personally, and frankly I think the mission structure has worked great for Splinter Cell so far.

Just mission based and not open world, please...

Oh, who am I kidding? It's Ubisoft. They'll find some reason to make it open world.

Sony's done a terrible job with it. No Knack VR? Come on...

Dang, I might just have to get a VR for this. I'd love to try it with Megaton Rainfall as well.

Not interested in this game, but I'll just say I'd rather have a character in cool, practical looking armor rather than nonsensical scanty anime "armor" any day.

Put me down for both a Switch and a PS4 copy. Same as with Doom Eternal.

Absolutely amazing game on Switch, but I had no idea it was coming to PS4.

If it means the return of Price, then hell yeah. I only hope they could make the campaign as big and dramatic as the first two MW games.

I was just playing Doom on my Switch and wondering when we'd see more Doom Eternal. Guess I know now!

I loved Hyper Light Drifter on Switch. This looks like more of the same but in 3D, so I definitely have my eye on it.

This article kinda reminds me of No Man's Sky. Eventually, it'll have more content.

I figured this would be really good! Japanese developers just seem to be on a role lately (Capcom especially). I'm glad I pre-ordered this, though I'll probably play the AC5 pre-order bonus first for an extra bit of backstory and world building. Never played any AC games besides Assault Horizon and Assault Horizon Legacy, both of which I actually liked.

Why did Star Wars have to end up in the hands of Disney and EA?

Me personally, Rogue One has been the only good thing to come out of all this. And somewhat Rebels.

I'm really looking forward to this. I've only played Assault Horizon (which I actually enjoyed) and Assault Horizon Legacy on 3DS. It's been a while since I played an air combat game of any sort. I'm gonna play 5 first though since it's a pre-order bonus.

I'm glad they went the route they did. Game of the Year indeed.

@huyi Streaming games doesn't actually scare me because it demands too much of a good internet connection to really be viable for most people and thus viable financially for companies. What scares me more is the possibility of extremely restrictive DRM on all platforms. PS4 already has some DRM in place that I find rather annoying...Like how my brother can't download my games and play them on his profile. He has to sign in to mine, and if I sign in it kicks him off. If I recall, on PS3, you could download a game to a couple of separate consoles and different users could play without restriction.

@rjejr Is that Meltdown and Spectre related I'm guessing? Anyway, Firefox is what I have at work, and it seems to work just fine. I use Chrome for personal use, but I've never had memory issues with it...

Also, I thought you were always purposely misspelling it, haha.

I wish they'd just focus on making a game as good as Just Cause 2.

These are the four moments that I cared anything about. The rest of it was such an utter bore.

@rjejr Yeah, for me it was way too little interesting content spread over way too much time. I was getting really irritated by the the last half hour or so.

@InsertUsername I also felt RDR2 had no business winning that award considering how clunky the controls are, and that's the single most important thing in any video game in my opinion.

@ShogunRok Okay. A pro controller with good battery life would be great.

@ShogunRok How's the battery life? Just got some Pro controllers for Switch recently, and I was blown away to find they have approximately 40 hours per charge. Puts the DS4's battery to shame.

It's hard to believe the same company is putting out awesome games like Doom and Wolfenstein (different developers, but they're still the ones publishing it). Man, this is quite different from how confident they seemed when they showed this game off originally.
