Personally I think this game looks fun. Not revolutionary by a longshot, but I'm definitely giving it a chance. I know people have criticized it a lot, but so far it seems like they've only shown the opening level.

Can't see myself ever hitting that limit... although I don't have PS Plus as I prefer to just make local backups and store them on Google Drive.

I seriously want to get a PSVR for this. Also for Megaton Rainfall.

Although I think I may wait until they're done updating this game. Every time they do, I end up wanting to restart.

Man, I really need to pick this game up again. I haven't played it much since the update that made it 60 FPS on Pro, and then a little bit more after the Next update.

Another thing I'll say is that I don't recall this game ever billing itself as a part of the MCU, and neither was Spiderman. So if nobody was upset about that game not using Tom Holland's likeness, why are they upset here?

The thing that bothers me a bit more is how overused Troy Baker and Nolan North are. I get that they're great at what they do, but guys, hire someone else for a change.

It's really amazing how much closer this game is to the original vision now. I need to pick it back up again. Just too many games...

@Callmegil No problem. I don't really know why he calls himself that when he barely ever reviews tech, but yeah...maybe I need to fact check him more often. I'm sort of a casual listener because I just like listening to him talk about random stuff rather than actually trying to see if what he says is true. I can say though that Stadia definitely isn't for me, and I don't think internet is generally good enough yet for game streaming. Frankly I just want to have my games be physically on my system.

@Callmegil Call me biased, but I think he has a lot of common sense. He's definitely mellowed out in the past year or so. I remember he used to be a lot angrier and more aggressive, but he doesn't really strike me that way anymore. Anyway, he does say a lot of stuff I agree with nowadays.

@Callmegil Nope. He said the retailer probably did it like this to be on the high end so when Sony reveals the price they could go down in price instead of being low and then having to make people who already pre-ordered pay even more.

@GodGamer Have you played it? I bet not. I have, and I enjoyed it. Getting mediocre review scores doesn't mean I won't enjoy a game. I've enjoyed lots of games that didn't score great.

@wiiware Me too. If you want to play now, just search for DOOM 64 EX. You can play it on your PC.

@wiiware They're entirely different games. The maps are all new, and the game is much quieter and themed more towards horror, though it plays much more like classic DOOM than DOOM 3.

Eh, really what I care about is just shooting Nazis, and I rather like the semi open world and RPG mechanics. Also helps that I have a friend who's willing to play this with me. He wants me to play A Way Out with him too, so I figure maybe I should get PS Plus so we can do it.

I love playing the DOOM 64 EX PC port, and I'd be down for this. I'd probably get it on Switch though. Unless there's a huge gap in technical performance, I always go for a Switch version of anything.

Disappointing about Contra 4. Seems like they could include Tate mode for those with rotating monitors or the game on Switch which would probably have worked good for the game's duel screen nature. Glad to have this though. Hopefully another Castlevania Collection is next up.

Nintendo's looking like an easy winner for me this year. No one else has had anything that interests me except Bethesda with Doom Eternal, but that wasn't a new reveal.

All Ubisoft would have to do to win E3 for me would be a Splinter Cell collection. Like...please?!

Honestly it could be 20 times more powerful than PS5, and I still wouldn't buy it. Sony and Nintendo have a ton of exclusives that I love. Microsoft doesn't.

I don't really play RPGs anymore these days, but for this I'll make an exception. I loved the original when I first played it on PS3 back in Summer 2016. Since then I've gotten it on PS4 and Switch also. Let's just hope this doesn't get delayed.
