Bethesda brought Doom and Wolfenstein so they're pretty much the winner for me by default. Rage 2 also looks great.

Smash Ultimate looks fantastic as well.

This E3 had the potential to be one of my favorites ever if only Splinter Cell and Metroid Prime 4 hadn't been no shows. That kinda killed it. Metroid I can understand, but by now Ubisoft should have had SOME kind of Splinter Cell related news.

This mentality could be why I don't like most recent Naughty Dog games I've played. I enjoyed the first TLoU, but the Uncharted series felt like a chore to play through.

Kratos all the way.

EA, Microsoft, and Square Enix I don't really care about. Ubisoft dropped the ball by not showing a new Splinter Cell. Bethesda brought the goods with Rage 2, Doom Eternal, and Wolfenstein Young Blood. Sony I wasn't impressed by. I didn't think they showed enough gameplay of The Last of Us 2, and what they did show I really didn't think was as impressive as some are saying. It looked kind of like a more violent mod of Uncharted 4 if I'm being honest. Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding don't really interest me, but Spiderman does. Nintendo spent too much time on Smash, but that game looks like it'll be phenomenal.

That's my take on this E3 anyway.

Just don't date it at all and then release with no warning when it's ready. Wouldn't that generate some press.

@DLB3 Honestly, I liked the first one, and I'm enjoying the second one too. I know a lot of people say there's little reason to play the first since 2 and 3 exist, but I really enjoyed it.

I get off work at 3:30 CDT. Hopefully they haven't revealed Splinter Cell before then! But knowing my luck they will.

@RedMan33 Indeed. I would love to see Svartalfheim and Vanaheim, though I would imagine Asgard won't happen until the next main installment.

Cloud. FFVII is the only Final Fantasy game I've played, but I loved it. Horizon Zero Dawn hasn't managed to hook me.

I finally finished God of War 1-3, Ascension, Chains of Olympus, and Ghost of Sparta so I started on the new one today. Been a long time coming...

I know for my part I'm not gonna watch much of E3 even though there's a bunch of stuff I'm pretty excited for. A new Splinter Cell possibly, The Last of Us 2, whatever Nintendo has...but I'm tired of knowing so much about games before they're even released. I'm not even going to watch The Last of Us 2 gameplay. I want to go into that game fully blind.

@stueyd67 I was actually just thinking about Heracles/Hercules last night. God of War 3 does that too, and it's kind of annoying.

Now I await Super Mario Origins.

@playstation1995 I just happen to be playing through that series right now! I'm doing it for the first time and in chronological order too. I finished Ascension, Chains of Olympus, I, Ghost of Sparta, and II, and I'm on III Remastered now. I gotta say, the ending of God of War II got me SUPER hyped for God of War III.

@Jaz007 People don't realize it, but Infinity Ward at least gave their last Call of Duty a terrific single player campaign. It's a shame it was so underappreciated. It's one of the best.

One less game I'll buy then. Fine by me. I have tons of other games I'm looking forward to anyway. Wolfenstein 2 kind of already gave me my single player FPS fix.

Ugh...the new God of War is fantastic, but it kind of bothers me that Joel is likely losing to Kratos because of it. Kratos will probably be the winner overall simply because of the timing. I love Joel's character though, and I was happy to give him one last vote.

God of War needs a New Funky Mode.

Mostly Steredenn Binary Stars and DK Tropical Freeze both on Switch. I love both games to death. I also started God of War because my brother wanted to see it, and it is phenomenal! I'm probably gonna play the previous ones first before playing any further, and then I'll restart it.

Also, I finished college! Time to start paying the bills and hopefully playing some more video games!

@ShogunRok I don't really mind if it doesn't evolve it personally. The first one was such a solid survival horror game that I wouldn't mind if it were just more of the same. That said, any improvements they do make will be much appreciated!

@ShogunRok How about instead of a contest of PlayStation characters, the next pole is actual games? Showdowns like Uncharted 4 vs The Last if Us would be interesting. Granted you'd need to throw in a lot of non-Playstation exclusive games too probably. Only problem I can see is that newer games like God of War would probably almost always beat out older games like say Gex.

As for when, I would probably say wait a few weeks or a month or two to give everyone time to cool down from this one and also build up hype for the next one.

Edit: I could also see maybe doing smaller, shorter poles like maybe ranking just PlayStation Exclusive games or maybe ranking people's favorite Sony E3 press conferences. Just a thought.

@legalstep Agreed. What reason am I gonna have to get out of bed on Wednesdays when this pole ends? Real life doesn't count.

Doom 2, Splinter Cell, and The Last of Us 2!

I recently got the original on my PS3 on sale so I'll probably wait till this is closer to release to play the first one.

If it weren't for the fact that Amazon Prime lets me get games way cheaper, I would prefer digital. Since disc games install to the hard drive anyway, I prefer digital, but Amazon makes a compelling case with its 20% off pre-orders.

@ApostateMage Well, I'm still gonna vote for Spyro. He's the underdog, I played his games some when I was a kid, and I've never played Witcher. But Geralt will win, I'm pretty sure.

@YummyHappyPills I know. Doesn't mean I like it though! It's frustrating having your system tell you you can't play something yet even though it's right there. I understand, release dates and all that, but part of me wants to be able to just go ahead and play it.

I'm playing Goddess of Peace obviously.

And then maybe some Uncharted War. Uh, I mean Uncharted 4.

Also, I pre-loaded Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on my Switch. It bugs me that I still have to wait for May 4th to play it even though the entire game is sitting there on my system!

Now that I think about it, I may try to fit some Doom in as well.

I'll let you know what I think...once I've finished Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy and have played through all the other God of War games...

It's a shame Senator Armstrong wasn't in this poll. He would have stood a chance against Kratos what with the nanomachines.

I got a physical copy. Amazon Prime made it cost $51.35. Leftover gift cards from Christmas dropped it to $1.35. I'm so ready for this game, but I'm gonna play through all the previous games first...after I finish Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Lost Legacy...geez, it feels like I'm not gonna get to this game for a long time.

Swap God of War 2 and 3, and this list would be in chronological order.

Campaign is the only reason I would buy since I enjoyed the last three Black Ops campaigns so much. If this is true, it's such a blatant rip off of stuff that's currently popular.

Splinter Cell. Don't screw it up, Ubisoft. By which I mean, don't make it open world. Sam infiltrates, gets the job done, and leaves. No need to make it open world.

@Rudy_Manchego What's an even bigger problem for me is that I tend to play on the hardest difficulty in action games so it'll probably take me even longer.
