To me, of the three, Nintendo has released the best exclusives this year. Even GOW:R couldn't change this, as it will be the last great AAA from Sony this year.

Looks good! Hope it is better than the PS3 installment (which, despite all its flaws, I liked XD).

I'm torn on this one...it looks interesting enough, but something don't match for me.

Maybe I'll wait for the super patched version somewhere in the future.

Unfortunately, the chances of seeing a new one are zero. Anyway, it's nice that the first Siren is on PS new Sub Service (I didn't remember in which tier, I assume it is on Premium because is a PS2 classic).

This one will get to my wishlist! I will get it eventually, down the line.

Now, I have a huge backlog to keep me busy.

Anyone remember MGS? And MGS4?

Those titles are still exclusive to PS1 (if you don't count the Twin Snakes remaster) and PS3.

In fact, MGS gave a boost to PS1, and MGS2 and 3 were a exclusive for some time on PS2.

Loved Crimes and Punishments, loved The Devil's Daughter, and I have Chapter One on my backlog.

My two cents on the matter...

I liked Stray. Very much, in fact. This one and As Dusk Falls gave me the most pleasant gaming session in a very long time.
Liam may well disagree, that's fine with me (as it should be).

But one thing I think many are missing is that Stray doesn't pretend to be "masterpiece" or "a game to end all games" and certainly I respect that. It gives you a nice, pleasant and moody adventure for a few hours. Nothing more, nothing less. But that's great for times like these.

The fact that many gamers are liking this one tell us that there's an audience that would like more game like this. Nice, simple and short adventures, perfect for some relaxation.

A gaming world that welcomes Stray but also welcomes GoW, TLoU and Xbox games and Nintendo games is a nice world in my book.

While may (or may not be) a "cash grab", sure it is a case of "playing it safe". I don't doubt that this remaster/remake has some effort in it...but this is not a new creative project.

To create something new and exciting would take more time and resources and would be more risky. I think one of the potential risks in this trend is the loss of creativity.

As a business, they will get more income for less investment. And many others big publishers, I assume, will go down the same path.

Is there a way to prelodad it, or will it become available in Plus until tomorrow?

I haven't finished H:FW yet. And yes, the devs can choose any period of time within 12 months, so it doesn't have to be a calendar year.

BUT...I want to note that nowadays, seems that every comment section, be it on a post about Bayonetta, Kirby or GoWR, will end up being about "Is Elden Ring the true GoTY of 2022?". LOL

Having a XBX, it's so cool to play some GP games and win some points, which you can later redeem in form of cash. I think Sony is making a nice move with this.

On the other hand, and this is in no way a complaint, it seems that lately Sony has been "following" rather than "leading".

Although this sounds great, I would like to see, in the future, new programs/ideas/projects from Sony, the kind that would revolutionize (again) the industry.

I DO believe the service will be getting better over time. But how much time will it be? That's the question...

@themuckman I'd say that some sections can be frustrating, but on the whole, I think these are the minority.

@themightyant Immortals is a great game, IMHO. I think it is underated. I hope someday this title lands on some subscription service, so more people can play it.

I heard/read that the "easy" mode is a way to "practice" for the "normal" difficulty. But I guess there's no use for it if you can just practice on the default mode anyway (I died a lot XD).

I will be coming back to finish it sometime in the future, I guess!

@KidBoruto Yes! I don't remember the exact name of the "Easy mode" (I played it in 2020), but every stage has it.

The catch is that you can't get to access the final boss unless you beat every boss in "Normal" mode. So I didn't beat the game XD.

Let's see how Sony manages this new suscriptions tiers. It will be interesting to see whey they focus (PS1 games? New AA/AAA PS4/PS5 titles? Indies?).

I have the steelbook edition of Death Stranding and it is great. I would love to see them again.

Looks great! Although I am not super fan of the 2018 iteration (I didn't adapted too well to the new form of gameplay), I am hyped nevertheless.

It seems like 2022 will end with a blast!

@KidBoruto yes! It is on sale pretty often (I think). It is great, loved the art style and gameplay, but I haven't finished yet (I only beat most of the levels on "Easy mode").

Hey guys! Do you remember if the The Witcher 3 new gen version will be offered as a free upgrade (like Cyberpunk 2077 RE2/RE3) of will it be a paid upgrade (like Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted, Death Stranding...).

Surely I have read it somewhere but I have forgotten! XD

I think it's a great review! I haven't played this one yet, but... in my humble opinion, Supermassive has been losing steam recently. The Dark Pictures Anthology was good (my favorite is Little Hope, btw) - but I sense a lack of progression among the three titles. That's why I'm not overexcited to play this.

Anyway, maybe I'll give this one a go when it's on sale.
