Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 101

Hego

This weekend I'll getting stuck into more Fallout 4 with some Chivalry: Medieval Warfare on the side to mix things up (I've picked up Chivalry in the recent sale just as I'm starting to teach Medieval history to my students, funny coincidence! Now if I can only find a good reason to bring my ps4 to the school.....)

As for Fallout, about 25 hrs into the game and it's beginning to get it's hooks into me, still think it's been over-hyped and overrated to a certain degree but I'm starting to really enjoy it now. It does feel like I've only scratched the surface though

Re: Feature: 25 Games That Prove PlayStation Vita Ain't Dead Yet

Hego

@General_Spiller What's your thoughts on Trails? I bought the first game but haven't played it yet, but Jason Schreier from Kotaku has been raving about it constantly for years Really happy they released the second chapter and we're getting Trails of Cold Steel also

Re: Fallout 4 Patch 1.3 Details Step Out into the Irradiated Air

Hego

@themcnoisy well you can polish of Uncharted 2 in under 10 hours I reckon (Uncharted 3 in a similar time incidently), whereas I've put 22 hours into Fallout and I feel like I've barely scratched the service (just got to Diamond city for example). And I'm a "tick the quests off" kind of RPG player too rather than a wanderer

Re: Feature: 25 Games That Prove PlayStation Vita Ain't Dead Yet

Hego

To be honest there's so many good games to play between the Vita catalogue, PSP catalogue and PS One classics that I'm set for the next three years anyway! Not a lot to interest me there aside from Civ Rev, World of FF and Hyper Light Drifter, hope that Xcom port is still coming plus I think they'll be a good few ps4 cross buy titles I'll like in the vita

Re: Many More PS4 Games Go Cheap in European Sale

Hego

@Patinator Played an hour or so of Chivalry tonight, I really like it but it's quite glitchy at times and its hard to tell if you've hit someone at times, I think it could do with a vibrate feature for when you connect with someone fun though and pretty chaotic at times

Re: Feature: 10 Under the Radar PS4 Games to Look Out for in 2016

Hego

@adf86 Very excited for that myself, think it was due out last year actually but it's gone quite the last few months. If you haven't already take a look at Death's Gambit, another indie game with heavy Dark Souls and Castlevania influences Also Eitr (Norse theme game with Dark Souls influences) which is being published by Devolver Digital, and they have a great knack for picking cool indies to publish

@Anchorsam_9 Nice list, interested in Darkest Dungeon, Hyper Light Drifter and Edith Finch myself I'm calling it now, 2016 will be the year of the indies

Re: Feature: 20 Japanese PS4 Games to Watch in 2016

Hego

@dryrain Japan has traditionally been dominated by the mobile market in the last 10 years, first with the psp and Nintendo ds and 3ds, and is now dominated by mobile phone games. Before that there was a large console player base.

As for me I'm really excited for Dark Souls 3, Final Fantasy XV and Persona 5, all must buys for me

Re: Rumour: Assassin's Creed Sequel Set in Egypt and Skipping 2016

Hego

@get2sammyb I actually really enjoyed Unity too so it has three fans at least Though those accents were atrocious to be fair! This looks like a really good move, allowing the team a whole extra year to produce the best game possible and hopefully give them plently of time for polishing and bug fixing PRE-launch!
Also really like the sound of an Assassins Creed set in Egypt, I remember reading an interview with one of the Creed developers a few years ago where he was asked what his personal favourite setting would be for a Creed game and he said Ancient Egypt, so hopefully he has a really great vision for this installment

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 99

Hego

I'll have uncharted 2 finished today so I think I'll go ahead and play through Uncharted 3 and finish the collection might dip my toes back into fallout, only played a few hours of it but I'm starting to get into it, the world is so inviting for exploration!
Don't have any resolutions, gaming or otherwise, didn't really think about any. I guess I might try to clear through my Vita backlog, maybe try to have 10 games knocked off it

Re: January's PS4 PlayStation Plus Games Revealed

Hego

Will give Hardware Rivals a go, could be fun if there's a good number of people on the servers. Grim doesnt really interest me however but I'm sure it'll have its takers seems a decent enough line up to me, at least theyre taking a break from the pixelated Indies

Re: Game of the Year: #3 - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS4)

Hego

Have to say this one was a bit of a shock was sure this would be either 1st or 2nd with Rocket League in a deserving 3rd place, I reckon Ramsey threatened to mutiny over this In all seriousness, amazing game, one of my favourite games of all time and certainly worthy of a top three placing

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This... Christmas?

Hego

I think I'm getting two games from this list for Christmas: Uncharted Collection, Fallout 4, MGS V, Dishonored: DE or Batman: Arkham Knight so I'll be playing one of those anyway. I'll also be having the odd game of Rocket League and might finally get stuck into Crusader Kings II for my laptop now that I picked most of the expansions for it in the Steam sale. Oh and I'll be playing bouts of Final Fantasy IX on Vita too. Merry Christmas everyone!

Re: Game of the Year: Sammy's Personal PlayStation Picks

Hego

Really like the fact you pointed out that Bloodbourne isn't this crazy hard-core experience but more so a game that just demands patience, demands it quite forcefully mind you I think too many people have been put off the souls games because of this perception and more people would "get it" if they approached them with patience in mind

Re: Feature: 10 PlayStation Games from 2015 to Get Lost in Over the Holidays

Hego

I know my GF has gotten me either Uncharted Collection or Fallout 4 (possibly both) for Xmas so I'll be playing one of those, along with FF IX and the odd few games of Rocket League. Have a sneaky feeling someone has bought me Dishonored: Definitive Edition as well as it's been going cheap in shops near me and my GF has hinted at it so might be playing that too! Happy Christmas everyone, hope it's a enjoyable one

Re: World of Final Fantasy Lands Cute and Colourful PS4, Vita Trailer

Hego

Falling in line with all of the above, I'll pick this up on the Vita
Having watched the trailer, this really does feel like mix between Final Fantasy and Pokemon, which sounds really cool to me at least, would be neat if the vita had a pokemon-esque game and FF seems like a really good franchise to choose to do this with

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 97

Hego

Playing some Bloodborne, still in Chalice Dungeons on the hunt for the plat. I've also got back into my FF IX save, really like it anf finally I think I'll jump back into Battlefield 4, haven't played it for a few weeks but I've been itching for some multiplayer shooting

Re: Relive Dragon Valley with Battlefield 4: Legacy Operations

Hego

Great game, mo go-to shooter, haven't even bother buying another multiplayer shooter simply because this is so good as far as I'm concerned. And as has been noted in the article, the post release support this game has received has been nothing short of superb, not only did they work hard to fix the launch issues (which were pretty bad to be fair) they've added a lot of free content which I feel compensates for the poor launch. Definately worth picking up in a sale with the premium content, it still has a pretty bug player base for nearly all the modes

Re: PSX 2015: The First PS2 Games Arrive on the PS4

Hego

Will pick up Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy at some point because people are raving so much about them. Never been a fan of GTA funny enough, they just don't float my boat, also does Twisted Metal have online multiplayer?
