@Vacuumator I went into advanced settings under controls and turned off the settings that was increasing the speed at which you turned (think it was called Turning up Speed or something like that) basically meant that whenever I moved the camera it moved at a stable rate that was predictable (and made aiming far easier)
Some Cold War MP which I'm really enjoying, it's the perfect mix of fast paced but not overwhelming so. Also more Valhalla which I'm enjoying in short bursts but hasn't quite drawn me in like Odyssey did. And lastly more Zelda BOTW on Switch, two divine beasts down and it's finally got it's claws in be after I bounced off it previously
I've finally decided to make use of my Xbox One S and play some NieR: Automata which is on Gamepass. I finished the main story on Ghost of Tsushima last night, might download the MP and try it out but I feel really lukewarm about the game. It looks gorgeous and the gameplay is fun enough but the game is lacking something. I've also restarted Zelda: BOTW on Switch and I'm going to try to stick with it this time and clear it
It’s a mixture of Ghost of Tsushima, No Man Sky in MP and Crosscode on Switch for me. Three very good games, finally getting back into NMS after all the updates and lasting it with a friend, the game is great, can be a little buggy at times but it’s forgivable considering what it offers. Hello Games have filled this game with so much to do that it’s great. Crosscode is another game I’m really enjoying, it’s combat is fun but hard to master and there’s plenty of secrets to uncover
Ghost of Tsushima for me, only played the opening hours but loving to so far! Combat is great, the world is gorgeous to explore and I’m already invested to seeing out the Tales around the Island !
I'll be playing Persona 5 (original edition) which I'm still in the tutorial palace and some Dark Souls 2 with a friend where we're so over-level from co-oping every boss that we're steamrolling through the game (apart from when we're accidentally killing each other with the ballistas!). I'm not actually interested enough in TLOU 2 to buy it so I'll just watch a let's play of it instead, I'm hoping Eurogamer do a full play though
Due to internet problems I’ve been forced offline in recent weeks during lockdown, so I’ve decided to replay some of my favourite games on PS4 starting with the Uncharted quadrilogy. I remember really enjoying Uncharted 1 when I first played it as part of the PS4 collection but replaying now really highlights how dated it feels, the controls are so loose and untrustworthy. Story is still really enjoyable though which is the important thing anyway. Thinking of starting AC: Origins as well, gave up on it the first time I played but after absolutely adoring Odyssey I want to go back and give to another shake. Also praise the Lord for German football as I’ll be injecting it into my eyeballs this weekend
It’ll be some more Dishonoured 2 and Ni No Kuni 2 for me with FM20 on the Switch to fix my football needs. I’m kinda struggling in Dishonoured actually, getting found by the guards regular and end up butchering my way through levels despite my best efforts. Need to be a lot more careful methinks!
I bought Ni No Kuni 2 in the spring sale, really enjoying it even if the story is embarrassingly childish at times. Just built my kingdom and recruit a few people so it’s chugging along nicely 🙂 I’ll also play some Apex as usual and probably some BF V On Switch I’m playing Fire Emblem 3 Houses and I committed to finish at least one storyline! Although I’ve somehow manage to get all the men on my house killed in a weird coincidence, trying hard to recruit now! And ofcoarse I’ll keep doing my daily routine in Animal Crossing
@kyleforrester87 hey man my Switch code is SW-6988-4295-6095, feel free to add me! Anyone else is free to add me too, I need lots of Iron from everyone in AC😂
Well with schools closed in Ireland, I’ve plenty of gaming time on my hands. I picked up Animal Crossing this morning to check out what all the buzz is about because it’s all Twitter is talking about right now! I’ll also be playing through Ghost Recon Wildlands which I’m really enjoying, it’s a great time sink in the current situation. Throw in some BF V, Apex, Warzone, Football Manager, Witcher 3 replay and Skyrim replay and I won’t be bored anyway! I’ve also need to keep going with Ori an then Blind Forest too before I start Will of the wisp. Stay safe everyone!
I’ll be playing more Jedi: Fallen Order. I’m up to the Ninth sister boss fight which feels about halfway through. I’ve also gotten back into Battlefield V after a long break, it’s improved a lot since I last played and the upcoming patch looks like it’ll fix the dreaded TKK a lot too
It’ll be Jedi: Fallen Order for me this weekend, just finished my second visit to Zeffo. Really enjoying it, feels like “Uncharted” but in Star Wars. The set pieces are cool, combat is fun and the atmosphere, visuals and music are brilliant, there so good that I’ve started watching the Star Wars films again! Aside from that it’ll be more Football manager as usual plus more Apex legends!
I’ll be dipping into Dreams to check out all the cool creations, I’m staying well away from the creating side as I’m terribly uncreative! I’ll also play some Apex and CoD this weekend I’m sure. I’m off work next week so I’ll be looking to make some progress in Sekiro which I’ve restarted after getting over half way in it when it released. Hoping I’ll finally get past Guardian Ape this time! Also also play some more Greedfall but it’s starting to lose my interest, the fact it doesn’t have one coherent open world and is broken down into areas is a real put off for me, takes a lot of the fun out of exploring to be honest.
Having finally finished up Control (great game!) I’m working through my my backlog, starting with Greedfall. Interesting game so far although yeh controls feel a bit loose and the combat is a bit boring. The world is interesting to explore though, feels a bit like a poor mans Dragon Age at the moment but hoping it picks up. Also be playing some Apex Legends for the new season
Playing through some more Control, really liking this game, the atmosphere is amazing and I love the powers. Also hoping to get in some CoD: MW in tonight as well, Infected is such a fun game mode! Really reminds me of 28 Days Later
Happy new year everyone! It’ll be more Dark Souls 3 Ringed City dlc with the Pushsquare heads for me as we try to finish this off before starting Dark Souls Remastered. I’ll also be playing more of Control which has been brilliant in the opening 2 hours, just got my first power and fought the first boss. All very cool! It’s the kinda game I’d love to see made into a show or film. I’ll also be playing some Forza Horizon 4 on my new Xbox and maybe more Fire Emblem or Football Manager on Switch. Haven’t found a save to really stick with in FM yet
Where to start! I’m currently playing through the Dark Souls 3 dlc with some Pushsquare pals, we’re going to tackle the entire trilogy this year but out of order. I also picked up Control, Jedi Fallen Order, Greedfall, AC: Syndicate and Unity, Shadow of the Colossus, Ghost Recon: Wildlands in the sale so I’ll dip into one of them. And to top it all off, my fiancée got me an Xbox one S for Christmas so I got straight on Gamepass to try out a bunch of stuff, starting with Forza Horizon 4. The sooner PlayStation gets a viable rival to gamepass the better I say, it really is amazing
Playing through the end of Dark Souls 3 with @Kyroki and @SimonFitz. I’ll play some more Outer Wilds as I try to uncover the secret of that amazing universe. I’m also really getting into Breath of the Wild on Switch again so more of that! And I’ll try to watch all of the Witcher ok Netflix this weekend too! Happy Xmas everyone!
Congrats on the 300th WAYP! I’ll continue with Mass Effect: Andromeda after putting up the decorations. Really enjoying this, love the whole mysterious nature in the game like the seemingly abandoned Ark, the lost arks that need to be tracked down and the decimated outposts on the first planet. Really has me hooked I have to say. Game looks great too. Hoping I get some more CoD in as well
Picked up Mass Effect: Andromeda for a fiver (€5!!!) in a recent sale to check it out after it had such a bad reception at launch despite reviewing ok. Really enjoying it, just got my ship but so far story has really grabbed me, the characters are interesting and it looks great on a Pro. The shooting doesn’t feel amazing but it’s serviceable and the first few quests I’ve done have been interesting enough. Really looking forward to seeing more of it
It’ll be mostly Pokemon Sword for me, it’s the first Pokemon game I’ve gotten really into since Silver and it’s instilling they kind of simple delight and excitement that I had as a child! It’s great! When not in that I’ll be playing more Modern Warfare and BFV. I also picked up Mass Effect Andromeda in the sale for a fiver so I’ll check that out, at that price it’s worth a shot I think. Need to get back to Outer Wilds too
Hi folks, I caved and bought Luigi’s Mansion 3 yesterday so I’ll be playing more of that, it’s just a very fun and simple puzzle game that’s great to relax with. I’ve been hitting Modern Warfare MP pretty hard this week so I’ll keep going with that, my custom load out of a sniper and M4 feels perfect. Need to finish the campaign on that too. I’ve also re-downloaded Battlefield V after the really positive coverage that the Pacific update has got so I’ll give it another go after falling out of love with it a couple of months ago. Nothing beats Battlefield when it’s at its best so fingers crossed. I’ll probably dabble with my saves in Skyrim, Witcher 3 and Breath of the Wild too when the better half has the tele
Giving the people want they want! (Shows look great I thought, Cavall looks to be doing a pretty good job of Geralt even if I still can’t get Doug Cockle voice out of my head!)
I’m actually looking forward to what they come up with, there’s a good game buried under all the crap in Breakpoint and I’d like them to try and dig it out
It’ll be plenty of Modern Warfare for me with both the campaign (which has been great so far) and the MP to try out. Really liking it even though I’ve found some of the MP maps aren’t that great really, gameplay is very satisfying still and some of the little animations are great! I’ll also continue playing through Witcher 3 on Switch, I’m just onto Velen and the big bad open world of the game is before me. It’s still a masterpiece even with downgraded graphics on Switch, it still looks good to me. Also plan on playing more Outer Wilds (not Worlds!!) on PS4 which I’m really liking, it’s a great exploration game in the purest sense. I’ve a week off with our mid-term brake so I plan on playing some more Division 2 as I check out what they’ve added and some Destiny 2 as I grind to 950
I’m jumping around a bunch of stuff this weekend, some Destiny 2 anyway. I’m going to check out Outer Wilds sewing as it’s earned rave reviews all year so really looking forward to it. I’m planning on jumping back into Division 2 to check out the two season pass additions which I ignored before. I’ve also purchased Witcher 3 on Switch because it’s the greatest game of all time so I’ll be dipping back into that while also trying out the Flame in the Flood on Switch too. So many games!
I’ve finished Links Awakening last night, great game although I found some of the later dungeons a bit of a drag. Hoping to get some D2: Shadowkeep in and finish off the story of that while trying to get raid ready. Would love to know if the Pushsquare clan will be joining back to try out the new raid? Also play more Ghost Recon Breakpoint which has been fun in a mindless kind of way, has a lot of problems but has fun to it as well. I’ve also been messing around with Apple Arcade after I’ve upgraded my fun, it’s pretty cool! Some really cool games on there
Review feels spot on from what I’ve played, it’s unbelievable how much they’ve jammed into this game from all other Ubi games plus some non-Ubi games (like Monster Hunters preparation for battle thing). It’s fun in Co-op whether your trying to quietly take out a compound or goofing around in a car or helicopter. Combat feels satisfying, and the loot trail does provide a hook even if it is a mindless one. Probably not worth the full price but something to play around in at half price if say. I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played so far to be fair
I’ve just finished dungeon number 4 in Links Awakening so there will be more of that this weekend. I’ve played a bit of Wolfenstein 2 as I try to clear out some backlog so I’ll chip away at that over the next few weeks, it’s pretty mindless fun. I’ll also be checking out the Ghost Recon beta and maybe some borderlands 3 where I’m halfway through the campaign I reckon. Finally a bit of Skyrim on Switch too
@KratosMD I haven’t actually! I’d have preferred it it released on a portable device, I played the first two on Vita and loved that I could play them anywhere. I might hold out until it gets a Switch port hopefully coz I’m not sure if I’d enjoy it on the big screen....looks brilliant though!
It’ll be a mix of Borderlands 3 (which I’m really enjoying) and a selection on my Switch (BotW, Links Awakening, Mario Kart, Skyrim). Still haven’t gotten over how cool that device is
@kyleforrester87 Simon Fitzgerald, Alex Stinton, Liam Croft and myself had been playing over the summer, we were all lapsed players to different extends so were prepping for Shadowfall in September 🙂 your welcome to join, we’re always looking for raiders especially 🙂
I bought a Switch on Friday so I’ll be diving deep into the land of Mario and Zelda as I check out those two games. I also finished moving house and have finally got internet back after a month without it!! At a mighty 10 mbs no less 😂 it will do for my needs as I’ll make time for some Destiny 2 with some Pushsquare heads and maybe some No Man Sky and BF V as well 🙂 P.S. I’m finding the Switch to be an amazing little machine, the flexibility it offers is futuristic to me, I’d love if PlayStation did something similar in the future, maybe a powerful box that has a handheld device with it?? Would buy it hands down if it’s as good as the Switch
Haven’t had a lot of time for gaming lately and I still won’t have good internet for at least a weekend so it’ll probably be football manager on iPad for me, maybe some more AC: Odyssey Atlantis dlc if I can. Found the Legacy of the blade dlc pretty good, was a lot of fun jumping back into this, Atlantis is for more and a really beautiful map to explore
@BridgeToClarity I really loved Unity! I was lucky to get a copy that was absent of bugs for the most part. I found Paris the coolest map to explore outside of Ancient Greece, and it had some cool ideas like the murder mysteries to solve and the riddles to figure out 🙂 one of my favourite creed games which I know is very controversial! It does have the old awkward control system which is very fiddly for climbing though

Been holding off on a ps5 playthrough until the upgrade arrives but I’m itching to start it again, all I really want is a glorious 60fps in 4k
Re: Chivalry 2 Dated for June, Closed Beta Coming Next Month
Looking forward to this, I played the original and really enjoyed it, just needed more polish really

At a mighty 10 mbs no less 😂 it will do for my needs as I’ll make time for some Destiny 2 with some Pushsquare heads and maybe some No Man Sky and BF V as well 🙂
P.S. I’m finding the Switch to be an amazing little machine, the flexibility it offers is futuristic to me, I’d love if PlayStation did something similar in the future, maybe a powerful box that has a handheld device with it?? Would buy it hands down if it’s as good as the Switch
Re: Poll: What Are Your Most Anticipated PS4 Games for the Rest of 2019?
Greed fall, Outer Worlds and Shadowkeep for me. Although I’m interested in Borderlands 3 and Modern Warfare as both seem to shaping up well
Re: Here's 8 Minutes of GreedFall Gameplay, and It Still Looks Really Promising
Really looking forward to this, just hope it runs well! The world they’ve built looks so intriguing
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 285
Re: PS Plus August 2019 PS4 Games Announced
Think that’s a great month to be honest, Wipeout is great and the Sniper Elite are pretty fun in their own right, also ‘AAA’!! 😂
Re: Anticipated RPG GreedFall Gets 4K and HDR Support at Launch, Pre-Orders Live Tomorrow
Honestly think this game looks great, just hoping it runs well, Spider don’t have a great track record unfortunately
