@playstation1995 Sega Genesis sounds like a Phil Collins tribute band. Mega Drive for the win (I still have one, wrapped up in a plastic carrier bag, with some cartridges, in a cupboard somewhere).
@kyleforrester87 I've no idea why you've posted that video gif and what it means. Care to explain in words, rather than cryptic video's? As for not wanting to play them. I thought I'd already established that?
There's no need to say 'sorry' for potentially being a 12 year old that had taste. In-fact, this doesn't really apply to me. Despite prior playing of crappy 1st gen Atari console games, I was around 13 when I got my first computer (back in 1981) and I played combat flight sim's. If I remember correctly, the first one was DI's Strike Fighter 2. With games like that, why would I waste my time with simplistic stuff like Aladdin and the Lion King?
Q. Do you want to see remasters of Aladdin and The Lion King on PS4?
A. No.
Q. Which versions did you play growing up?
A. I had already grown up when this was originally released, so I haven't played any. After looking at video trailers, even if I was young enough at the time, I still wouldn't have bought something like this.
I still have the original, in it's cardbox box (wot no plastic?). Apparently, with a bit of tinkering, it still works on Win 10. However, being realistic towards my natural laziness, it seems easier to buy this new edition than feck around changing PC files, etc.
It's Ghost Games, so I'm expecting more of the underwhelming same as their past efforts. EA really need to get a new developer for NFS, in-order to breath some life into the series.
@Nightcrawler71 I'd say that it's not that complicated. For someone who doesn't play a lot of RTS titles, I don't think that you'll have any problems with it.
Firewall = Wait around for 15 mins (or more) in a lobby. Get into a game, shake gun every few seconds to re-align the tracking. After 2 mins, the host will leave. You return back to the lobby, rinse and repeat.
I've had this on PC for a while now, and it's a great game. The depicted combat can also appear quite violent, when zoomed in (whether that's a good or bad thing). I've not had any crashes on PC, but hopefully a patch can fix any teething problems on the PS4. It's also an educational game, if you've got an interest for history. I love it when after a playing a game, I can say to myself, "Well, I didn't know that before". It can even prompt further reading on the subject.
First of all, GreedFall won't be open world, as we want to control the narration in a certain way. Release date and price aren't communicated. It's a single player game, like The Technomancer or the previous games we made before.
Diplomacy will work, of course through dialog choices, but not only. Your relation with each faction can be changed regarding which companion you're helping the most, or the order you will choose to achieve side quests.
@Heynow Thanks, I wondered why the wand buttons didn't work properly with the rudder plugged in. Next time, I'll try and put my feet on it, rather than unplugging it. It would be nice if it was officially listed as supported.
*Edit: I've just found out why it's not official, after re-trying it. With the rudder plugged in, you can't get past the tutorial when it asks for O & X to be pressed for turning. However, I was spinning around in that lift chair thing before that, so I reckon it'll work, once the tutorial is over (I'll have to unplug it, for the tutorial).
@gbanas92 I must admit that in Wolfy CP it isn't that bad, if I'm being totally honest. I think it's due to the fact that you're controlling machinery, which you would expect to be a bit on the clunky side, so it kinda fits the wands. I'd still like to see 3dRudder support though (I gotta find more reasons to use my new toy).
*Edit: P.S. I've just realised. Apologies for not thanking you for the article. It was interesting to read.
I've been playing Wolfy CP on the Pro, and it looks really nice. I wasn't expecting a game of depth, and it met my expectations. I've quite enjoyed the bit that I've played so far. I just wish that it had 3DRudder support, as using the wands for movement (in all games) simply undoes any immersion for me, due to the clunky button presses of the wands.
It looks like I'll have to stand-up to play this (based upon having to use the wands, as described), so it's a no buy from me. It's not that I have a disability which prevents me, it's just that I feel like a jerk, when I have to stand-up to play a video game.
Q. Which firmware update has been your favourite? A. It's gotta be 6.51 for me. There was just something about the system improvements in that one, which brings back happy memories when I think about it. Although I've no idea what the improvements did, nor did I notice any difference.
My Cat like instincts and curiosity tell me that I'm going to pre-order a PS5 (as I did with PS4). Excuse me now, I'm off to take a crap in next door's flowerpot.
I remember buying this, on the 360, just out of curiosity. If I remember correctly (which I probably don't), wasn't this touted as a 360 launch title, only to make an appearance 5 years later, or so? Anyway, I bought it back then, played a bit of it and then went, "Meh". Consequently, I couldn't care less if this old game re-appeared on Playstation.
My PS+ sub ran out before last Xmas (I think?), and I haven't bothered renewing it (or have missed it). For my multiplayer needs, I bought a PC. The savings, in both no subscription costs plus cheaper games, means that the PC has already paid for itself, so it didn't cost me anything (or so I tell myself). I think that I may, begrudgingly, renew my PS+ when PS5 arrives.
@Absenceoffaith93 As someone who has had 39 years of video gaming experience, I can state that Kyle's 25 years does matter. Kyle for president, he's our defacto leader!
@Circasurviver Have an upvote in appreciation of your logic. Personally, I've never looked at it, in that way. Food for thought. Thanks for the enlightenment.
*Edit: In summary; It's like the greeting cards industry or the industrial-military complex, bleeding into what is deemed as an acceptable norm in today's culture, i.e. A self-perpetuating entity.
There wasn't a category for my poll answer, so I selected the nearest one.
Q. Is E3 Still Relevant?
A. No, and it never has been (apart from the Journalistic world).
A quick check on Reddit, provided the solution. You have to deactivate, then activate the PS4 as your primary console. Any locked games then become unlocked, and can then be played.

Yay for the educational history aspect. Yay for the graphics style. Nay for the 3rd person view.
I'll still probably buy it, if I see it going cheap.
