@KendoHead seems to be a problem with non NES/SNES/GEN collections. Contra, Castlevania, Castlevania Advance, and Anniversary Collections are all really well done.

@KendoHead Konami has done a great job with their retro collections. MGS Master Collection is a rare misstep.

@riceNpea we don't play Cricket in Canada or the US and chewing tobacco is more of an 80's/90's thing. Most ball players don't do that stuff anymore except for a couple fossils that are left.

Do you get loyalty points for renewing your PS+ subscription? I spent $107 CAD on a renewal and got no points.

No Tekken early, only Tekken L8

I just started Spider Man 2 and I like it... except for when that enemy got stuck in a pile of sand and I had to reload the checkpoint. I feel like there's a bit of recency bias going on here since Dead Space came out in January and FF16/SF6 came out in June. Either way, Spidey 2 seems cool but safe. FF16 was a bold adventure.

SF6 is my GOTY. Followed by FF16 and Dead Space.

I'm currently on my 3rd playthrough of this game and it's freaking fantastic. I'd put this at #3 behind SF6 and FF16.

Looks like a cool game, I bet we get it on Essential sometime in the future.

@Ludacritz Holy crap, it is 40 bucks Canadian! I remember renting some of these games and being a grump the rest of the weekend.

We're using the term "Classic Games Collection" pretty liberally these days I see. All these games are awful and I would stay far, far away. They're all licensed trash that even as a kid I knew sucked the bag.

I avoided the original releases of the TLoU because of the online trophies. I've since got the plat in the PS5 remake. So here I am with the PS4 version of TLoU Part 2 sitting on my XMB waiting to be played. Do I play that version or do I upgrade to the PS5 remaster?

@Flaming_Kaiser We hear it a lot to "speak with your wallet". These are instances where consumers should speak with their wallets. It's the most powerful tool we have to combat getting taken advantage of by the companies we put on a pedestal.

After playing Invasions mode and grinding the Kameo mastery trophy, I got over 3500 Dragon Crystals. That was more than enough to buy the Halloween fatality for my hard work! I also bought the JCVD skin with earned dragon crystals too. Invasions mode will reset and if you complete it you'll have enough crystals to buy what you want for free. It's the way things work these days. Buy it for 12 bucks and you're a sucker.

Happy it's over, now M$ can go on buying whatever it can to satiate it's hungry beast.

We still upset about DLC characters in fighting games? It's the industry norm now to get the game out, work on characters post launch and offer them up as DLC. The only instance of ripping characters out of a game before it released was SFxTekken and that was way back in 2012. I think we can move on now.
