Wasn't the PS5 version of the main game a bit under spec because there was a PS4 version? I'm playing The Burning Shores dlc currently on my regular ass PS5 and I think it looks better than the main game. Probably because it was only developed for the PS5.

picked up that new Castlevania collection for 20% off. I seem to always be playing a collection of these games around this time of year.

Managed to just preorder a 30th Anniversary DualSense on Best Buy in Canada.

I'm just gonna hope that those sweet 30th Anniversary DualSense controllers will be widely available at retailers come November 10th. GameStop in Canada not doing preorders might be the way to go to get this stuff, like the old days.

I'll be picking this dlc up in a year when it's 70% off.

PS4 Pro wasn't for everybody and neither is this. I'll pass and just ride my PS5 into the sunset like I did my launch PS4. I want to be wowed playing PS6!

This is one you're gonna want to pre-order. MvC2 stuff is always pricey down the line. Why the 2+ month delay for a physical copy though? Guess I'll go digi and keep the physical copy sealed. Give my kids max ebay potential in 2060

Good, cause I want to get a physical copy of the MvC Fighting Collection. Anything with MvC2 on it basically prints money down the line.

I remember this game getting an EGM cover back in the day. That artwork is super nostalgic. I remember the game being a pure renter though, pretty standard mascot platformer. Fun to see this stuff coming back though.

SoR4 is awesome and a super challenging but rewarding platinum if you're into that sorta thing. Personally, I'm pretty stoked to play AEW Fight Forever but I can see how it would mean nothing to a lot of folks.

This is a pretty good month. Totally knew Tunic was gonna be an Essential game, so I feel good about that. The Ghostrunner games look dope as hell, I need to get to those sometime. For the other offerings, I'll quote somebody above "C'mon Sony. If they wanted football they'd already have it." Can apply that to Destiny 2 dlc as well.

I guess FF7 Redone will be substantially shorter. Colin Moriarty will be happy.

Should have remastered Fallout 3 instead but that's beside the point. To me it makes sense why people that bought the game only would have access to the PS5 version. Some amount of work went into it, costs need to be recouped. Why would they want to give it to me since I only have the game because of the PS+ Collection? That's too nice.

I platted XVI last year (loved it) and will wait for the dlc to go on sale. Currently I'm playing Rebirth so I'm good with FF.

@JeongersGaming at no point did you mention a trend. If MS had the rights to MediEvil they probably would have made remakes of those too. There's no trend for Sony to follow since they don't own the IP and had nothing to do with the Crash and Spyro remakes.

@Mortal I've gotten a refund for buying the broken Twisted Metal PS1 Classic on PS3 three times. They personally thanked me at the end of the chat for being a level 4 user.

Nice, you can pick up MediEvil (PS1 Classic) for 5 bucks on the PS3 store if you don't have Premium. Gets you the PS4/5 versions at no additional cost.

@JeongersGaming Activision/MS had/has the rights to those games. Sony didn't do the remakes.

I've never played a MediEvil game, so starting with the original PS1 release works for me. The PS1 Classic on PS3 is 5 bucks if you want access to the PS4/5 versions for cheaper.

This is nothing new. SF6 has been doing this since launch. Avoid and it's a non issue. There's plenty game to play, especially if you're casually playing.
