Had it pre-ordered, still waiting on it to arrive, but keen to play.
I've played a few Tales games, my favourite being Xillia on the PS3. Xillia 2 has the honour of killing my PS3 & the worst (best?) cat meow sound effect ever recorded, it's quite impressive actually!

As I await my copy of Tales to arrive in the mail, I have been playing Life Is Strange: True Colours. I've only played the first episode so far & it's not bad. Though an odd complaint: Alex's inner monologue doesn't seem to match her personality, or the current situation she may in, it's really weird. It almost feels like they wanted her to be a bit like Max from the original, but she's not....Still, not bad!

Geez louise that's one of the worst trailers I've seen in a long, long time. Someone needs to boot that Tiny Tina character to the moon & never look back. Holy crap that was so bad.

I'm glad to hear others hated the dialogue as much as I did, what's with all characters these days being wisecracking commentators on everything which happens around them? So cheesy & annoying lol

Ah I'd consider giving Far Cry 6 a crack if the main player character was Danny Trejo! (As opposed to Blandie McBland or whoever the blank slate is this time zzzzz)

Who the hell asked for these?! What a waste of time & resources. Enough with this, just release a patch for these games & be done with it. If that can't be done, don't bother then. Man what a waste of time.

It was alright, nothing spectacular though. GT looks great, but nothing else really wowed me. GOW looks exactly as I expected, & I like the idea of a Wolverine game. But yeah, overall nothing mindblowing, just decent.

Super excited for this, it's looking awesome! I'd love it if my copy arrived a day early as I'm on nightshift all weekend!

Maybe some hardware related stuff, new dual sense colours, and official coloured face plates would be nice.
Life a few others here, I want the over the top arcade action of a new Motorstorm, Twisted Metal, or something along those lines.
Also, Street Fighter Alpha 4 from Capcom in collaboration with Arc System Works, while I'm dreaming lol

I may be in the minority, but I'm not that excited for God Of War or Horizon. Dunno, just not that excited for sequels these days. Of course I'm going to go against that right now by saying I'd love a new Twisted Metal, but that would also inject a nice dose of variety into the PS5 line up.

I enjoy Playstation, but oh boy are Sony a terrible company. They will try to get away with as much as they can, and its just exhausting at this point. They can also stick their director's cut line of games up the wazoo as well.

The best game I've played this year without question, and unless a miracle occurs, I don't see that changing. Man it's just so creative, fun, and charming.

A packed weekend. On the PS5 I'll be playing Aliens: Fireteam & the Vanguard alpha, on Xbox I'll be playing Psychonauts 2 (which is excellent so far!)

Nope. Bought the PS4 version digital day one, thought it was great. Sony are just a bunch of greedy so & so's lately, not a fan.

Not a fan of these Director's Cuts, just seems like something Nintendo would do (and does). But hey, there's more than enough chimpanzees willing to fork over their bananas to rebuy a game they finished 5 minutes ago, so what do I know?

The connected mode is freaking awesome, you must try it!!

Tales Of Arise, Lost Judgement & Kena are my picks. And as someone else mentioned, Psychonauts 2 I'm quite keen to play having just recently played through the first (pretty good too!).

Picked up Cris Tales on PS5 this week, hopefully will get some time with it.
I've also downloaded a bunch of game pass stuff I'm really keen to try: Bug Fables, The Ascent, Rain On Your Parade, etc. Also more Halo 5 co-op campaign with my nephew. Wish I had more time!!

The controller haptics will simulate the random grumbling your stomach experiences before you get the runs/diarreah

But now that you've brought them up, they have Halo Infinite & Forza Horizon 5 lined up for the holiday season this year. Not to mention Flight Simulator just dropped, to great reviews.

This game just bums me out nowadays. So many fun GTA single player games in the past, but nah let's just cater to one audience & stop making games altogether. The PS4 didn't even have a proper entry, and that's just crazy in my opinion.
Go play GTA 5 now, the controls feel like every character is underwater. Rabble rabble rabble!!

I just can't get excited about games I've already beaten getting a few upgrades. Better than Director's Cuts and $10 upgrades, but still.....I'm sick of getting new consoles for 80% of the library to be games I played the prior generation! Or upgrades to old stuff, its just so boring!

It had so much potential at the start. Zelda BOTW & Mario Odyssey gave me hope that they were finally ready to release some big scale adventure games, like they used to. But nah, from the second year onwards back to the same old garbage: Smash, Mario sports games, Animal Crossing, more Smash, Ring Fits, Amiibo dollies, etc. Just disposable crap if you ask me. (Though Luigi's Mansion 3 was pretty sweet).

Look out for the day when a console generation consists of only around 10 games, with "ever changing worlds, new & exciting monetisation methods, innovative social features!" Also every game will have the graphical style of Fortnite.

Easily the best game I've seen, and alot of fun too. I did get a couple of bugs though, my favourite being the final boss getting stuck in an archway & stopped attacking.

PC, Xbox, N64, I don't care where Sony's games end up, as long as they keep making them. One of the very few making the single player adventures I enjoy the most. They're even bringing out more platformers than Nintendo these days.
What worries me is 3rd party output. 3 gens of GTA5 with no sign of a 6, classic franchises turned into online or service games, and just the same yearly garbage year in year out.
PC players need something, it's not like Star Citizen is ever coming out.

Then again Nintendo boys need their amiibo dollies & will tell themselves any old hat looks good as long as it has Metroid/Pokingman/Link on it.
Mind you the Playstation list is pretty miserable too!

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone thought Nintendo had a good show. Was it that bland as hell looking Metroid game? Wario Ware? Advance Wars? Both look like games you'd find on google play. The 20 seconds of BOTW2? Fair enough, that is highly anticipated. Still, wasn't all that much. They could show up with a cup and ball on a string and people would lose their minds, I just don't get it🤨

No way! I miss the hype and excitement of the live e3 conferences. Now we have these direct style videos with robot sounding people, who describe things like we've all never played video games before. Its ok, but I want that hype and excitement back.
Sony need to stop sniffing their own farts & join in on the fun too, they are missed at these events.

Man what a game. Playing this on a big 4k screen in surround sound is just an epic experience. Hopefully a full Tetris Effect 2 is coming with the PS5 VR😁😁

I can't imagine what kind of PS5 upgrades these games will get, or even need really. That being said I do own Shantae & The 7 Sirens, and Risky's Revenge (I think that's it lol) so I'll take a free upgrade & have a look.
