Ugh there's just no creativity left in anything anymore is there? Movies based on games or old franchises, games soon to all be based on licensed properties (just you wait!), and don't get me started on current music.........where was I? Oh yeah, stay away from my booze!

It looks decent, but man give me actual gameplay screenshots anyday. And no, photo mode does not count as gameplay!

Just checked out the sale. A few games here people are hoping for are here, which is good. Other than that, not much really, alot of rubbish in there lol

Visually it looks pretty nice. Gameplay looked as exciting as a drive with miss Daisy though.

Despite current gaming being as crap as it is, I had fun with some great titles this year: Psychonauts 2, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and Kena: Bridge Of Spirits have all been fantastic & deserving of any awards they won.
Too bad the game awards show is just one bloated 3 hour commercial & Keighly having a zoom call with Kojima, life is too short.

If this PS plus Gamepass expansion pass thing is true, I wonder if the monthly plus games will begin to suffer🤔 as games with gold has....
Mind you I don't have plus (that 1% is me😁) & probably never will!

All these broken, boring, uninspired games coming from the big publishers these days have really slowed down my new purchases lately. I've actually bought a Gamecube to catch up on a few games I missed back in the day. I can't see myself going near anything current until Elden Ring drops. I'm just so turned off current gaming right now😐

Rather than waste your money on plus, just buy the games you want. It's there really anything worth paying online to justify it? I don't think so.

Psychonauts 2 is the game of the year, without question. And if I had to choose a runner up, it would be Gardeners....er I mean Guardians Of The Galaxy.

I'm playing The Medium over the weekend, which has been quite decent. I love the atmosphere & exploration, and laugh at the Thunderbirds style lip syncing😁

Had a PS5 since day 1, and I had a great time at launch. Demon's Souls was awesome & Astro was a great showcase for the dual sense features (which has yet to be topped, nothing has come close). But now it just feels like another playstation console, and I'm not too fussed by the upcoming exclusive games. But I still enjoy my time with it, it's decent.

No thanks, just feels like a pointless, cash grab re-release. Bring out an enhanced Gravity Rush collection & you'll get my money😁

Lies in P is a terrible name for a game.

I lament no GTA 6 yet. They can stick this collection up their butt though all the same (ditto Bethesda & their Skyrim money heist edition).

I was playing Guardians Of The Galaxy, on chapter 12 then the game crashed, wiping my save in the process😐 karma is a right bugger.

This kind of thing is why gaming is becoming so boring to me: nothing but sequels, remasters & Marvel games😐

As more people seem concerned about GaaS, I worry about the near future when every big dev will be releasing a Marvel or Star Wars game.
Give the people what they really want, a Mass Effect style Futurama game!! (One day it'll happen!!)

I find it odd that the gaming industry us going full force with Marvel games.....after all excitement from the MCU has long since settled. A bit late to the party aren't you guys?

@Telekill I feel the same, life is too short for these bloated games. And they've lost what made the series great in the first place. In the same vein, Far Cry 6 was my last Far Cry.

I bought it yesterday, and played through a few chapters. But this is great, exactly the kind of game I like. A fun, funny, action adventure game with great characters, awesome graphics, and it's not open world hallelujah!! Some of the facial animation is incredible too, quite possibly the best I've seen.
Excited to get back to it today!

Lo Wang is always worth the wait

Working nightshifts this weekend,but hopefully I can get some Back 4 Blood in on Sunday night. If I'm not too tired that is!
I do hope Guardians Of The Galaxy turns out well next week, I'm craving that kind of game at the moment.
Oh, and I finished Far Cry 6. Which will be my last of those games, life is just too short!

Based on past 3rd party focused State Of Play events, I'm sadly expecting this to be quite weak & unnecessary. Happy to be proven wrong, but yeah......

Far Cry 6, which, once again you guys were bang on the money with your 7/10 score. Fun, but frustrating. fR_eeBritney nailed down alot of the issues with the game (thanks for that, saved me some time!) But oh boy, the characters in this game are simply atrocious.....just so so bad. I rarely skip cutscenes, but I can't hold down the circle button quick enough in this case! So bad...
Co-op is still a good time though!

Alrighty, been waiting to give my opinion on this one. It starts off very strong, combat is fun, story & characters intriguing, epic soundtrack. But like a few others here, I found the further the game went on, the worse it got. The areas, music, enemies, story all suffered as the game went on. Another gripe is that the towns you visit are void of life, even the populated ones. Most NPC's just stand around like a stunned mullet, feels very ps1 era.
It was decent though, I'd give it a 7/10.

Far Cry 6 co-op, which has been a great laugh. I was hoping to try Battlefield, but for some reason I can't download it. It keeps telling me something went wrong. I was pretty keen too:/

How about a patch which fixes up the weird wobby graphical glitches littered all throughout the game, it gave me some serious PS1 flashbacks!

I really enjoyed the PS5 launch games, had a jolly old time. I'm not currently as excited for the near future, sequels are cool, but I really like the new stuff, or new takes on old franchises. That's what made the PS4 & Playstation in general so great, & I look forward to it more on the PS5.

Two Point Hospital in 4k would be nice. Then I won't have to zoom in so often to see the wacky patient symptoms & Freddie Mercury clones.

A new Castlevania using 2D pixel sprites would be awesome. As much as I enjoyed Bloodstained, that game is uggggggggly!!
SOTN is a graphical masterpiece, which has aged like a fine wine, please do the series justice!!

The new logo is dull, but so was the old one. The original Namco had a logo you could set your watch to and made kick ass Ridge Racer games.
Namco Bandai makes dull anime games and has the logo of a architect firm.

Gotta be honest: I don't even notice ray tracing most of the time. I've played through a bunch of games using it & didn't even know until I checked the graphics settings. (The only game I've ever noticed it on is Miles Morales)

I'm finally going to start Tales this weekend, now that I've finished Life Is Strange: True Colours. And I have to say, you guys were bang on with your 6/10 review. Great characters, but a story which goes nowhere & fizzles out so hard in the last 2 chapters it's almost comedic seeing all those 9/10 reviews out there.
