@Theaussiegamer92 It is technically isometric, but you can zoom right down to essentially third-person while exploring. Combat is definitely top-down, however, haha
@KaijuKaiser, I can't believe it even got made! Different strokes, of course, it's like catnip to me, but yeah, not in a 1000 years would I have predicted this.
@Ravix, we'll cover a lot of world and system stuff in guide content, gameplay will get a LOT of focus from me in our PS5 review. And I'll stop writing them when you all stop showing up to read them!
@all3forever @PsBoxSwitchOwner Push Square is larger than that, an ideal, incapable of obsession. I'm the one enjoying the game in general, and the spicy parts in particular
@Gamer83, I think the honest answer is that cutscenes and exploration look more appealing, which is why you haven't seen much focus on gameplay in trailers. Combat is turn-based and played at a much slower pace than The Witcher or Cyberpunk, it just doesn't 'look' that good to mainstream audiences, you know? Loving the gameplay and combat myself, will do my best to put into words why when it comes to PS5
@4kgk2 my attempt on Twitter, "A parallel event was allegedly held nearby in an effort to offload surplus Stadia stock. Attendees reportedly refused interview requests and declined to comment."
@mcdreamer ohhhh I've got it downloading on the Deck now, what kind of framerate do you get? Was shocked to find that DOS2 runs very nearly at 60 with max settings! (obviously not expecting that here haha)
@ATaco, it looks to be more of a straight visual novel to me, have updated it to include features. They seem to be going more the choices matter, branching narrative paths route
@rjejr You aren't wrong! I've updated the article to avoid confusion. Sorry, and thanks for the assist; always preferred words to numbers for precisely this reason
@Powerplay94 It probably took me three years and numerous escapes from Fort Joy to make it past Act 2 in DOS2 haha. Glad I did, though; it gets wild at the end! My proudest Platinum as well, if anyone's impressed ( •_•)>⌐■-■
@nessisonett I managed to boot it up this morning, look at Origin characters and lock in settings. So much to do before I can actually dive in guilt-free! (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
@Northern_munkey @JigsawPieces My apologies, gents, and you are absolutely correct! My upside-down Australian brain had a meltdown converting an American date. Updated (っ◞‸◟ c)
@Godot25 my best guess is exactly four-ish regular DualSense controllers to make up one Edge, regardless of conversion rates or the currency with which they’re bought
@Elodin I normally waste an inordinate amount of time re-rolling characters. Origin Characters are the perfect solution for indecisive types, I've found haha
@MFTWrecks, I didn't ask for an apology, mate; no need for one. I owned up to my mistake, so not sure what you're really after. For the record, I probably wrote 100k words on the subject in the last two months, which occasionally results in my thinking an update came out several days earlier than it actually did. Like you said, lets try and keep things in perspective
@Stevemalkpus I think so, yeah. Overwatch is Blizzard as well, so that would make sense. There are other outliers as well, but I don't think that makes the statement incorrect?
@StrawberryTurtle Just some perspective on that point, I've barely spent a dozen hours like actually playing Diablo since reviewing it and writing guides, most of that before the day one patch. Reviewed multiple other games since, in addition to the games I'm playing personally (not to mention being married, with a baby haha). I wouldn't feel well-informed enough to re-review the state of the game every month, and I'd sound like a fool trying I think MaxRoll is probably the closest for that kind of focus but
@Triumph741 I've been playing Baldur's Gate games alone for more than two decades, and with Larian at the helm, have no reason to think this will be an either/or situation. They've been putting in the work!
@MasterChiefWiggum @AhmadSumadi While a matter of heated debate amongst word-nerds, the usage has grown to include emphasis in informal settings (check usage c. colloquial for examples)
@Ryall @Alex_P My apologies! It is just the PS5 version available; I've updated the article, my bad. It's on Xbox One and was supposed to come at a later date, but I couldn't find anything recent from the devs on the matter
@everynowandben ... but it is a thing; someone did get Bloodborne running on a PS5, and that's the story here. Not all relevant information needs to be in the headline, either; that's what the body of the article is for
@ear_wig a gentle rebuttal, it's an enticing headline, not a deceiving one. It would be deceiving to say, "Bloodborne Now Playable on PS5" or something. Lance himself didn't add either in his own wording, in video or Tweet, I might add.

Re: Larian Studios CEO Responds to ‘Raised Standards’ Concerns: ‘Standards Die Every Day'
@GamingFan4Lyf Credit where it's due! Without it, I don't think you get an Elden Ring, or at least not in the same form. My own opinion, anyway

@Elodin I can't decide! I did a Lohse Fane duo my first time through D:OS2, and would highly recommend (both mages, of course).
I'm leaning towards Astarion, La'Zael, or Wyll for BG3, running out of time as well haha.
