Re: Disgruntled PS Plus Premium Members Can't Downgrade for Black Friday Discount

@Jacko11 There’s a negative undertone because what the topic of that article isn’t really a good thing. It was corrected a few days later, but at the time we didn’t know that, right?

Concerning negativity, I find myself in the same situation as you. I’m maybe halfway through Ragnarok after 25 hours of play, and absolutely loving it. I have a backlog of like 25 new games to play, and there loads to look forward to in the coming months. I’m excited, and so is everyone else on the editorial team. I think if you asked Sammy, Rob, and Stephen, you’d find they’re pretty happy with PlayStation at the moment too.

What’s frustrating about Sony, though, is they seem to slip up sometimes on the most simple of things. They’re a multi-billion dollar company that make seemingly silly mistakes, and we can’t just let them get a pass. We praise them when they do good; we criticise them when we do bad. The site has always done that and will continue to.

I understand sometimes things can look negative, but believe me, everyone on staff still loves PlayStation and is more engaged than ever before. We’re all here because we love the system and its games; that’s why it’s a bit annoying when something goes wrong. 👍

@Jacko11 @naruball I'd like you to both actually explain where in that article I was overly "slating" PlayStation, where the "clickbait headline" is and how it was an "outrage" piece. Here, read it again: https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2022/10/sony-seemingly-scraps-ps-plus-game-expiry-dates

The headline isn't clickbait; it simply isn't. Using the word "seemingly", there was no jumping to conclusions. Furthermore, I even wrote it could be a glitch that Sony might fix. The rest of the article is fact.

I look forward to your explanations.
