@nessisonett It's like a small-scale corrupt country. Rich CEOs keep the corrupt president in power, so they can make even more money, and the president gets to live in luxury as well. It's a win-win for them, but everyone else loses. These large companies are no different.

It's a fun little game, but it's nothing like Animal Crossing. It's a short adventure/platformer.

Live service and platform exclusive don't add up too well. You want your audience to be as big as possible, so unless it's going to be on PC, Xbox and Switch day one, don't even bother.

It's gonna be another game that's killed a year after it releases.

@zimbogamer @Zag_Man The overworld map is new, but they've always said it was going to be a slow-paced game. There will be a lot of time to prepare yourself for battles. Gameplay from a few years ago also showed a lot of walking, gathering resources, cooking, sleeping, etc. There is also no fast travel on purpose.

SOTC uses slow-paced sections really well, so I hope they can pull it off too.

@RBMango This won't be a PS+ game for the foreseeable future, that will create too much backlash.

This game was originally funded on Kickstarter, and becoming a PlayStation exclusive has already got its fair share of criticism. Giving the game that was funded by Kickstarter away for free on PlayStation wouldn't be the best PR move.

I also think this will be bigger than your average indie game. Hopefully a 2022 title. I've been waiting on this game for seven years by now I think.

Going by their track record, I'm not convinced yet. You don't go from mobile to AAA without hiccups. We'll see though.

Let's be real, the only reason they patented this is so they can sell it to Activision in the future.

It probably needs a complete reboot at this point, but it's a type of game they don't really have, so I'd welcome it.

@Flaming_Kaiser Well no, it shows that there is no objective way to determine whether a game is good or not. The best you can do is poll as many people as possible. I dunno, they all seem good games to me, so I don't see the problem with a poll like this one.

Not yet, cause it's been barely two years since I played it, so I don't feel the need to play it right now.

@Ralizah Sony had a deal with Bethesda, and when Microsoft bought the company, they also acquired those deals, so they definitely have to honour them. They knew that when they went into it. So it's not goodwill or anything, they simply have to. That would've an easy case in court if MS cancelled the whole deal.
