Doesn't he realize that most games that are based on movies are not that great? It might not of helped the movie but it certainly didn't hurt the movie.

As long as you have a decent connection you should have plenty of time to download.

@banacheck Yeah, I am somewhat shocked at how Microsoft has handled everything. If you asked me at the beginning of the year I would have never predicted this and I thought both were going to bring their "A" game.

Well, you can still get your videos to YouTube if you use Twitch. Twitch has a upload to YouTube feature that's pretty much a click of a button. I think it would be a huge blow to the marketing side if they can't get YouTube because that is the most requested site and the last time I checked XB1 doesn't have YouTube yet.

If Microsoft wants to prove they have better hardware then they should run benchmarks on it and release them to the public and have Sony do the same. Microsoft is looking and sounding more desperate each day.

While this might be shocking news, I think this is a smart move by Sony. This will give Europe and the US more inventory. Sony already has the Japanese market and I believe they have more patience than we do..lol

@Gamer83 It's not all indie but there is a lot of indies right now. AAA titles are being developed as we speak. Just let Sony focus on a successful launch then let the games come raining down. If you look at it, Sony has more options then Microsoft right now.

@Gamer83 It's not just an indie machine. If you do your research, Sony has said that there will be a balance and a variety of games. They are just getting a head start with the indies which is a smart movie. There will be plenty of games to play including AAA titles.

@Lionhart I don't think you have to worry about too many cell phone type games. If you look at the indie lineup currently on the PS3 you will see there is a variety of games types. Also, I think the only reason we saw cell phone type games on the PS3 like Angry Birds is because of how successful they were.

One of the things I love about indie developers is that they are willing to think out of the box or push the envelope further than a AAA developer. More than likely we would have never seen a game like Journey come from a AAA developer. I think with the new hardware that the PS4 brings we will see a great selection of new and fun indie titles.

So, why would anyone buy this??? It's expensive and a better version of it is already being developed.

@ViciousDS Exactly. I also find it odd that they had to bump up the CPU speed at the last minute which leads me to believe that there are some underlying issues. I still don't see how they can claim that they are going to have more units at launch then Sony when they just started manufacturing them.

MS might think they are slick by releasing in Europe before the PS4 but I don't think that will matter since majority of the EU is pro PS4 and there is only a 7 day difference between release dates.

@8vpiper Well, the dev kits for OR are $300 dollars and I assume dev kits are generally more expensive than consumer models. So, $250 could be viable.

@8vpiper They could still make money by supporting it. they could work with them on developing PS4 versions or they could give them more resources to improve their product and come out with a version 2.0. Also, if Sony slapped their name on it and added PS4 support people would be more inclined to purchase it as a PS4 peripheral or something to that effect which would bring in money for both parties. Not to mention it would look good on Sony's part to support another indie project and have something Microsoft doesn't have or be the first to it.

This is awesome news and I hope the game turns out well. I liked what I played of the demo. I no some people are complaining about no split-screen co-op but more and more games are dropping local co-op features and it's not something I am happy about either.

I would rather see Sony teaming up with the people that are creating the Oculus Rift instead of making a rival product. The Oculus Rift looks amazing. If this works as promised I can see VR finally taking off.

@DirectAim Yeah that would have been nice but I understand why they didn't announce a PS4/Vita bundle. We still have TGS coming up and they have mentioned that there will be bundles coming out. The PS4/Vita bundle has been a rumor for a while and they could be waiting to see what the demand would be and/or they are waiting for the right time to make the announcement. Keep in mind that these are all rumors and normally there are not a lot of bundles at launch. I am waiting to see if PS4/Vita bundle actually comes out before I buy my Vita.

PS Plus is a great value and the service is great. The reason why there has been very little backlash is because most gamers understand the value of PS Plus and also realize that if you want all these extra services that will Sony is promising on the PS4 will come with a cost and people won't mind paying the extra cost as long there are improvements and a better experience.

Home was a great concept but it wasn't executed very well. I find it odd that it is still in beta but then again I haven't logged into home in months.

@IAmNotWill Were they gameplay screenshots or just screenshots?? Also, devs like to tease you with screenshots before they show you real footage. It's all part of the tease. They could be waiting to show the footage until a special event like the VGAs or something like that. Usually movies work the same way.
