Dishonored 2 is a terrible game, It came with my PS4 Pro bundle and took it to CEX the day after playing it. But Doom Eternal at £13 quid.. im snapping that up right now

Honestly, I think its my fav Far Cry game, there was just something compelling about the religious overtones and it was a pretty decent story.

Im still waiting to see how the people who rush out and get them asap get on.. I want to know how loud those PS5 fans get even with a heatsink before I even think about dropping money on these

and yet no mention of folders.. I have a feeling we're going to see a repeat of the PS4 with how long it took to implement them, but otherwise some good much needed changes.

I admire the dedication but this game is just dead in the water, I dont think it will last longer past its 1st year anniversary unless they make it F2P where it might have a slim chance?

Im glad, I think a lot of people are looking forward to Hades in Aug (me included) so Sept gives Kena room to breathe and stand out.

This year started off strong with PS+ but its been hovering around Games With Gold levels of rubbish the past few months

Oh sweet, really enjoyed Shadow, I might have to give it a little replay. I wish Alien Isolation would get a little bump up patch, I know its unlikely but I can dream

Having literally just this morning finished Returnal, I can say as a former "this games too expensive for £70" that this game is well worth your money for £50ish quid. (thats the price when I bought it) Fantastic game and one that pushes you to do better each time.

Also im snapping up Metro Exodus for that price!

A truly awful name.. The X makes it so edgy, so cool "eye roll" Remove the X from the name and it sounds better at least. But the gameplay looks so generic and lifeless, you can practically smell the money signs flashing in front of their eyes.

Pretty sure its the FTP crossover online shooter with characters and maps from The Division, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell that was leaked months ago (theres already 25s of footage of it on youtube)

Like a few others im just over this now, I kinda feel bad for them and also kinda dont. Hopefully if the actual game ever whatever it is sees a release it will be good. The whole heres a mysterious app that plays "live trailers" is massively suspicious though, is it a cheap marketing trick or something more.

I didn't watch, but caught up after, like the look of JETT and Tribes of Midgard (can you play that solo? I cant remember)

@imtom2002 It is toughs, but you can do it! It took me 2 and a bit days to get past the Crimson Wastes, but just make sure you run through Biome 1 each time to level up your health / stats / weapons and most importantly, just take your time, play safe.

Im OK with a save-state being added, as long as its a seperate option of the game, where you dont play online, dont earn trophies etc but the game stays at the same difficuilty level. It would def get more people playing and enjoying a pretty cool experience! I've done a complete U turn on my opinion of the game buying it in its more accesible price point this past week,

I get the feeling the thing that happens at the start of the game is not the thing that will happen here

@Jessica2K I guess more of a Karen than a Jessica, the Jessica's I know are usually lovely, unlike your rude entitled aggressive tone.. anyway a really good little AA rpg, once your past the admittedly rubbish intro it really picks up.

Got my upgraded version downloading right now, and a £5ish for the DLC, job done! Now back to biome 3 on Returnal

Returnal at Sub £50 (if you include discounted store credit) is a much better feeling, and its downloading as I type... wubbly jubbly!

Its one of the most beloved games of the OG console generations, so im glad they are taking the time to hopefully give it the attention and polish it deserves and needed.

Savage Halloween at 39p, 39p! is a bloody steal for a fun, challenging retro platformer, only came out in the last couple month too

I had a look at the lonnnnng list of the games they're behind and I had no idea they were behind so many of my fav indies of the past few years, Ruiner. Gungeon, Gris etc

So will def be checking this out

@Iroha Play the new expedition mode. Its a more streamlined experience and gives you a fair amount of stuff to start with and when it ends it just converts to a normal save, so you can do all the things you would normally do anyway

I kinda like my Far Cry grounded in some kind of reality, this looks its following in New Dawns outlandish style and not taking itself serious, getting strong Just Cause 4 vibes from it.

I'll play it, but atm its not up there for games I want to play Day 1.

@ralphdibny You usually get pretty decent Plus offers during Amazon Prime Day event, thats where I always get mine from (in the UK )

They either need to go full on and merge Plus and Now together or go all in on Now and make it a solution to playing older games without worry about system architecture not being compatible, there also needs to be some kind of agreement that games on Now wouldn't be on Plus and vice versa, keeps the value up of each service.

BTW you can buy Last of Us 2 on Disc brand new from Game in the UK for £9.99, now that is the best deal of the lot. The digital version of the game being more than double the price in a sale is indeed scandalous.

Is someone in here really comparing the yearly micro-transaction toxic sweat fest looter shooter that is Call of Duty to an every 3-4 years in between games fantasy RPG Final Fantasy lol anyway... This sounds pretty interesting tbf, if there was ever a game to get me into Souls-Type it might just be Final Fantasy
