Re: Sony Seemingly Scraps PS Plus Game Expiry Dates

PaperAlien

@SerJosh97 Chill down mr... also stop assuming everyone is interested in all the 1st party games? Ive got no interest in Ragnarok and there will be lots of others feeling the same. So far its only been Returnal and Ratchet and Clank thats appealed. Super glad you've been loving everything so far, some of us havent and thats OK too

Re: How Does the $1,500 Meta Quest Pro Compare to PSVR2?

PaperAlien

Im guessing VR2 is going to launch at least £399 in the UK but that is going to be a VERY hard sell for anyone, esp if the winter is predicted to be as bad as it will be, disposable income will pretty much be non-existent for a lot of people, who knows, maybe Sony will shock us all with a £299 launch price, but after they've bumped up the price of the PS5, thats not likely.

Re: Rumour: Ubisoft to Announce Multiple Assassin's Creed Games, Including One Set in Japan

PaperAlien

At this point im looking forward much more to Mirage if the rumours about it are true.. A live service game or whatever it is has the potential to completely ruin the series, hoping the idea of Infinity is based around the Animus.. ie the social hub where we can hop into other points of time, but I have a feeling its just going to be a cash grab and go horribly wrong at launch, prove us wrong Ubi!

Re: Microsoft Accuses Sony of Paying to Block Games from Xbox Game Pass

PaperAlien

Says Phil "the gamer" Spencer, head of the company whose just about to buy up a 1/3 of the gaming market because they cant compete game wise, the same company who introduced pay to play online with your friends, the same company who insitigated the whole games as a subscription service is getting mad and stomping his feet, because other companies are being forced to compete in ways they wouldnt?

Re: Sony to Take Action as PS5, PS4 Owners Play Less Than Anticipated

PaperAlien

"We intend to take action to increase user engagement" What they going to do exactly, shoot out wires from the usb ports to keep us in place? Bit of a weird comment

But like others, life getting back to almost normality after a 2 year lockdown and now cost of living crisis for most of the world, you can best believe people aint going to be spending 70+ quid on a game when they're struggling to pay energy bills etc
