$20 in NZ on PS Plus and more than worth every penny, despite the 5-hour-to-100% longevity it gave me. If it becomes a franchise, Id love it to stay how it is, short, 5 hour instalments that are DL-only.
I think Santa Monica should do a God of War for Vita (if nothing else they're always able to get the absolute best out of any console they touch, graphics-wise) to show devs exactly how much the Vita can be pushed, and then give the series a rest for a good five years while they figure out what to do with it next.
From the perspective of a guy with a lot of dudebro friends, the reason this isn't selling is because the cool kids only buy CoD, now. Back when GoWIII came out they played some other stuff because CoD wasn't quite so massive, but now they don't buy a single other game that's not an FPS.
Nah, this website normally has a product page up for a game as soon as it is announced. The fact that it now has a release date means very little in this case (case in point I can already pre-order infamous Second Son from them if I wish, which has no price or date).
I never saw why everyone thought Jak II was so hard. Sure, it wasn't easy, but I didn't rage at it or anything. That said, it was kind of bland and unmemorable, but if we have to have an average game like Jak II to end up with a fantastic game like Jak 3, then so be it.
@IAmNotWill I'd say it's more that this is sequel to a game from nearly two gens ago (with PS4 incoming) and it doesn't modernise too much. You still have to jump and press circle to spire land, and while that's a minor example, most games (such as infamous, funny enough) this gen that involve that kind of thing do it for you. You know, Cole grabs ledges and lands on pipes by himself etc.
@belmont Is that a literal Greek - English translation that doesn't come out sounding right (like direct Chinese - English) or just a really badly translated dub? i.e. does it make more grammatical sense when you actually read it in Greek?
Yeah, if the demo is anything to go by the game actually has a greek mode selectable as soon as you start playing, along with the option of your system's default language.
How upstart-friendly is this thing? As in, if I've never tried game development outside of game maker and the like before, will I be able to get a good start on this thing? Or does it need more prior knowledge?
@darkhairwarrior I think the probelm was not that this is a TD game, but that it is an anniversary title. People don't generally expect a radical formula departure when celebrating a franchise, rather all the things that made the franchise good. But with Insomniac working on Fuse and that Facebook game, making another new, fully featured R&C wouldn't have been possible.
I wonder if they'll have some Vita compatibility to emulate the gamepad functions or if they'll leave that side of the game out of the PS360 versions entirely.
Heh, I saw that post before it was pulled. If the Vita port is never released there's gonna be some problems, but I myself would settle for all the skins DLC for free.

Re: PlayStation 4 Takes Control of Game Informer Magazine
STUPID Fun fact: You can make 'iNFAMO' if you rearrange GameInformer and leave a few letters out.
Re: Deadpool Lives from 25th June in North America
High Moon's got a great track record, at least. Anyone remember DarkWatch from the PS2 gen?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Three
God of War 3, inFamous 2, Sly 4.
Re: Assassin's Creed: Duel Was a Fighting Game Starring Ezio, Sam Fisher, and Rayman
LOL That text in red down the bottom calls the PSN the PNS.
Re: Review: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 (PlayStation 3)
Maybe golf (which I don't watch) is on some strange annual cycle or something, but aren't we only in the fourth month of 2013 here?
Re: Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Gives PSN the Finger on 1st May
Wait... is that PETER CULLEN NARRATING?!?!
Re: Feature: Five Dormant Franchises That Deserve a Comeback on PS4
I've played every game that inspired this list except Shenmue
Also, I second MediEvil 3.
Re: Steal a Glimpse at the New Thief Game for PS4
Again, Garret better keep his original voice actor!
Re: Grand Theft Auto V Goes Skydiving in New Screenshots
That last screenshot has that guy wearing the exact same outfit Max wears for a lot of Max Payne 3.
Re: Jak & Daxter Collection Doubling Down on PlayStation Vita
Oh, and Jak II didn't have a subtitle in NA, guys! I mean, who could POSSIBLY make such a dire mistake?!

Re: Insomniac Games' Fuse Sparks from 28th May in North America
Well, the website I buy from doesn't have it up for pre-order... odd, because normally they're pretty on to it.

Re: Review: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PlayStation 3)
@nathanuc1988 What you said. Except I was a huge fan of the series in the first place, so if anything this baffles me even more
Re: Review: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PlayStation 3)
Never mind, I can see how the new review screenshots system works now. It cycles through them at random for each page request, yes?
Re: Review: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PlayStation 3)
If nothing else, I just love the fact that the medieval Cooper is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. We haven't heard much from the Prince of Persia recently.
Re: Talking Point: Are 'Game Over' Screens a Relic Best Left in the Past?
We need game overs, simply becuase they give developers a chance to top this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pPQnhhUqtU
I thought you guys were referencing it in that picture caption, but then remembered the game over screen of RE games >_>

Re: Talking Point: Is Sony Putting Too Much Faith in the Killzone Franchise?
Never played a Killzone. Not really interested in changing that.
Re: How Much Would You Pay to Play Shenmue 3?
I'd put a buck in for those who want it, but I otherwise couldn't care less.

Well I won't bother with GoW (got Saga ordered), however I'll probably grab the GoW:A demo!
Re: Feature: Five Forgotten First-Party Franchises That Should Be Resurrected for PS4
Great poll results so far IMO.

Re: Sony Officially Reveals the PlayStation 4, Launching Holiday 2013
Were there actually any pictures of the console/was there a console in attendance? I haven't seen it yet.
Re: First Impressions: Is Bentley's Hackpack Worth Your Coins?
Yeah, it's worth it at the price just to support the devs, but it's not something I see myself repeatedly returning to.
Re: Oh, There's a New Assassin's Creed Game in Development
You guys a re a little late on reporting this one
Re: Journey Is Not Just a Great Game, It's a Life Changer
Huh... nothing about where the girl was from? I know someone who could possibly be her, although I don't know if she played Journey.
Re: Rayman Legends Leaping onto PlayStation 3 in September
I wonder if they'll have some Vita compatibility to emulate the gamepad functions or if they'll leave that side of the game out of the PS360 versions entirely.
Re: Rayman Legends Leaping onto PlayStation 3 in September
PS3 port of Wii U demo inbound? I need it!
Re: Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Vita Delayed Until Spring
Oh yes Sony. Because I bought an R&C game because I like racing games rather than more R&C games.
Re: The Last of Us' Clickers Make the Most Terrifying Noises Ever
Is it me or does that clicking sound like pills sliding through a bottle?
