Re: Game of the Year: #3 - Horizon Forbidden West

Reeneman

@Mr_B021 fully agree. GT7 has it’s flaws but nevertheless it’s one of the best racing games of all time. I’m literally addicted to it since release. Beautiful game and so much fun to collect and drive all these cars.

Re: Iconic PlayStation Franchise Gran Turismo Surpasses 90 Million Copies Sold

Reeneman

Absolutely fell in love with GT7 since it’s release.
The game has its flaws but otherwise it hits sooo many spots with a nearly perfect. Car handling, tuning, visuals, HDR implementation is easily one of the best in the gaming market.
It’s a stunning game.
Just hope they would add more exciting singleplayer content in the future like the challenges or championships.

Re: Preview: Forspoken PS5 Feels Like a More Magical inFAMOUS

Reeneman

„Bought“ the demo for 0,25 € in Germany and I don’t really like it. The world feels dull and empty. Magic system and fights are okay but nothing I was excited about.
Also the visuals are meh in my opinion. Was hoping for a good showcase for the ps5 here but games like GT7, Horizon 2 and so many others looking way(!) better compared to this game.

Re: Shocking: Sony Has Plans for PS6

Reeneman

@Joabra01Swe you will never get this fixed values. It will be the same topic over and over again nevertheless it’s an Ps5 Pro, Ps6, Ps6 Ultra or whatever Xbox. It often hurts to read this again and again that people have such a little understanding how game development works.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's New Patch Brings a Visual Boost on PS5

Reeneman

@GreatAuk I wouldn’t call it „great“ especially not in comparison with other top tier titles.
But it’s playable since 1.5. No permanent crashes, it looks and plays good.
If you’re interested in the title and your backlog is fine with it then give it a try. You can have fun with the game. Story is pretty good.
I highly doubt that the game will ever be a game changing RPG. It’s a good game in an interesting setting but for far away from being a classic. It never will be, no matter how many patches are following.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's New Patch Brings a Visual Boost on PS5

Reeneman

@KaijuKaiser for me this was the last game I bought for a full price from CDPR. The 70€ still hurting especially with all the lies they told.
In the current state CP2077 is good, not phenomenal but good.
I have hopes that we see further refinement at latest with the dlc and patches around that time. They won’t support the old gen with the dlc and upcoming bigger patches. Hopefully image quality on next gen see further improvements.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's New Patch Brings a Visual Boost on PS5

Reeneman

@KaijuKaiser I don’t think so. Sure you can wait for further patches but they won’t support this for „years“. They’re working for the dlc next year than we see for sure some kind of a „complete / extended“ version on disc and than CDP Red will move on to their next games.
They already announced to switch to the unreal engine for their upcoming games. The work in CP2077 will end, it doesn’t make sense for them to overhaul the engine that is going to be abandoned.

Re: Poll: Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?

Reeneman

At least there should be a 60 fps option.
With Gotham Knights I don’t see the point of the developers: Game runs with native 4K and RT… by scaling back the resolution and turn off RT a 60 fps mode should be possible on SX and ps5.

Re: God of War Ragnarok on PS5 Runs at Up to 120fps, Four Graphics Modes

Reeneman

@Max_the_German FSR can even have its own issues. Furthermore even with FSR enabled people would complain about non-native 4K.
I think Santa Monica offers a fantastic set or visual modes here.
60 fps performance mode will be very close to your suggestion. The game uses its own upscaling while Native 4K with 40 fps is not bad at all.

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.25 Includes Four More Cars, Out on PS5, PS4 Soon

Reeneman

@TrickyDicky99 that’s a very superficial point of view especially after the release of Horizon 2 which is one of the best looking games of all time on ps5 even it’s a cross gen title.
GT7 is a fantastic game but it could be so much(!) better with more tracks, more singleplayer content, better net code, real races with a qualifying… so far the monthly updates don’t do a lot to improve these aspects. The new cars are always welcome but I guess that every GT7 player would be fine with 1-2 months without new cars but further additions of the missing features that I mentioned before.
