And more. Remeber that 10 years ago, people also lost their collective minds when the Bayonetta series went Nintendo exclusive. People swore that Bayo 2, and then 3, wouldn’t sell because it was at kiddy Nintendo. Yet, they were successful. So, let’s give this game a chance on xbox.

I liked what I saw in the trailer. And even if it’s half as good as Mania, then I’ll buy it!

So peopke have no problems when a jrpg is Switch or PS exclusive, but lose their collective minds if it’s exclusive on xbox… got it 👍🏻

@MayaMousavi 3ds games were released well after the switch came out.
To clarify. I don’t have an issue with more games being current gen only. Yeah, ps4 and xbox one should be on the graveyard soon. My issue is with this sole game that started out on a last gen console, yet, it is required to have a newer console just to keep playing the story SE intentionally left hanging. Rebirth is not a sequel, but an essential part of the Remake that you have to play for it to make sense as a whole. Those who played the first part and haven’t bought a ps5 will heavily miss out and I don’t see the fairness and justification from SE about their decision.

Those who replied to me basically said the same thing, so I wont specify to whom. SE is giving an incomplete story to ps4 players. This is not a sequel like msg2. This is a continuation of the SAME game that they started on ps4. SE is basically saying “we gave you a game without the climax and ending. Oh you want to play the ending? I’m sorry, but you have to buy a brand new console and pay full price for that chunk of the story!”. “Time to move on”, “but you couldn’t save 500 bucks”, “we’re 3 years into the ps5”, etc etc etc. you’re all missing the point.

Sure, there are more ps5 in the wild now. But for someone who has better things to do in life, continuing to play this “remake” means paying $€570 + taxes (+70 more if the want to play Intergrade) to play an expansion of a single game, making this the most expensive dlc for them. So, yeah it’s a disservice to ps4 users. If SE could port the other parts to PC, where many still use potato GPUs, they can certainly make this “rebirth” possible on ps4…

thats a disservice for those who only have ps4 and want to continue the story

@Nem I was calling out those sony fans on their double moral, where they mock MS for not releasing first party games, yet Sony is getting a pass for showing just 1 first party game on probably their biggest showcase of the year. This also explains why Sony is so hellbent on preventing the ABK deal, since, after Spider Man 2, they will have very little to offer aside from multiplats.

So, where are those “xbox have no games” guys from this site?
