@TheFakulty Again. Disagree with most. The PC version is already scaled enough to run on a PC that’s weaker than a Series S. All the devs have to do is determine what the best configuration for Series S would be. You say the word “compromise”. And that is the only thing I agree with. But the game is already compromised for PCs that still use a freaking 1060 in 2024. Compromise would be if their vision is hindered by a hardware that’s far lower than the lowest denominator capably, for example, porting the game to Switch.

Have you seen the ever growing list of fully Steam Deck compatible games that are possible thanks to the devs being helped by Valve? Even if the game is released on Steam, many of them are making optimizations for Steam Deck specifically. Cyberpunk runs really well on SD and blows away the last gen consoles’ versions.

NG+ is an optional feature in any game. It’s not a necessity to enjoy them. If NG+ is needed in a game, then it was not a good game to begin with. Nothing will change my mind.

As expected, the changes are not that noticeable to dish full price. Get a used ps4 disc and pay the $10 fee

ND and Sony are charging full price for a remaster that looks almost identical to the PS4 Pro version game. This is a cash grab. Buying the ps4 version used and just paying the $10 “upgrade” is a better investment. That’s why people are upset.

This looks cool in theory, but we know people will misuse the controller and potentially cause accidents… or worse. Perhaps the vehicle will implement many limitations to prevent crashes. Also, the last time a controller was used to steer an important motorized machine, it didn’t end well.
