Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Sales Keep Pace with Dragon's Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in UK

@ChrisDeku *sips coffee
The UK is only a region, not a reflection of the rest of the World.
Check the Steam numbers. Veilguard never got past the 90k peak concurrent players on opening weekend and it now sits at less than 60k this week. Even BG3 , a much more niche game, is still doing strong every week.

The massive refunds are not taken out of my you know what. Those are facts https://medium.com/@DarkRa/dragon-age-the-veilguard-faces-surge-in-refund-requests-amid-mixed-reception-2d0890cfbacb

GameStop is currently giving less than $20 credit on Veilguard because of the massive trade ins received. Check the store page if you think I’m lying.

And the biggest indicator of all, Bioware canned all plans for DLC and future content for it. When EA, of all publishers, is reluctant to milk gamers with additional content on their games, you know the situation is terrible. Don’t rely on one side of a story or news article, get to read what’s really going on.

Re: PS5 Pro Has a Remarkable Impact on Unpatched Games

@Cerny “ 45% more compute power, only 10-15 frames higher? absurd”
Not absurd at all, 45% of 30fps is close to 14fps. So it’s right within what you said. More raw power won’t translate in more fps if the game is unoptimized or fps locked to begin with.

Re: Unknown 9: Awakening (PS5) - Brand New IP Shows Plenty of Promise

@ButterySmooth30FPS @twitchtvpat It doesn’t matter, really. If said game of the new IP is bad, then it will be dead on arrival. Concord is the best example of that. I’ve seen critic reviews, not just users comments, pointing out all of the deficiencies of Unknown 9, and none are related to politics. Push Square gave it a good score, and that’s fine. But they are in the minority right now.
