Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows' Japan Looks Stunning in New Open World Showcase

@RoomWithaMoose his comment meant that Ubisoft could’ve picked a better japanese story, since Japan is so freaking full of great legends and culture. Yasuke’s story is barely even told among Japanese people, not because he was black, but because he did very little to impact Japan in a meaningful way. You took his comment as a political attack by just reading the first sentence.

Re: PS5 Pro Announced, Costs $700 and Out in November

@Lembit it’s much more expensive when you add the disc drive and the base. This is not a “oh no! $200 more expensive waaahh 😭”. Sony did an absolute Apple by raising the price, removing features and selling said features separately, racking up the price even further. That’s what most of the people here are angry for

This is the fastest comments from an article from PS. Good job!

Even as a 99% digital user, I don’t see the value of this. $699 is too much, when the All digital Xbox SX is at $449.

This also denotes the industry moving to digital only products, which is fine by me, but not for many.

Re: Star Wars Outlaws Director a 'Little Disappointed' with Critical Reception

@DennisReynolds “ Honestly if the AI was "better" it would break the game as the stealth system is so basic and barebones smarter enemies would make it way too tough. Combat wise you die pretty quick and enemies have perfect accuracy so yeah no one playing wants them smarter.”

That’s a design issue, and Ubisoft has all the blame for it. If a “better” AI would wreck the gameplay, then said gameplay was wrecked from the beginning. I’ve seen this charade between you and Puppet, and I’m inclined to see that you’re defending the game too much. If you found Outlaws enjoyable, sure, but the many flaws this game has are glaring for a dev that has extensive open world games experience.
