@Just_2_milky - They should keep it up until it's actually the finished article. Witcher 3 was far from this mess and that got patched for years after release.
If a tiny team like Hello Games can turn NMS around then CDPR have no excuses to not (eventually) deliver on their game.
I genuinely see no upside for Bluepoint being acquired by Sony. They're a remaster dev first and foremost so tying themselves to Sony only hinders them. Hopefully they stay independent and go wherever the work takes them.
@fR_eeBritney - All the DLC is included. AW's American Nightmare wasn't DLC but a standalone game that released years after Alan Wake. Weird it's missing but it really isn't part of the main game.
@velio84 - Nothing good from MS? What about dedicated game and chat lobbies, messaging or the achievement system? Basically the entire XBL service that Sony copied wholesale from them. Yeah, nothing good.
Didn't realise she was cryo. I doubt she'll be able to compete with Ganyu but she might be a good alt for anyone that doesn't already have the Cocogoat.
Why is this PS5 only? There is absolutely nothing there that couldn't be sold as DLC for the PS4 version. Way to screw over those of us that actually supported the original game.
Love this series. DMC4 is by far my favourite as you might tell from my profile picture. @Voltan I totally agree, DmC is a great game (and a completely legitimate part of the series). Hideaki Itsunu was the director of every single game excluding the first, so it's absolutely a proper entry.
@Boucho11 - Yeah it's a great game. I bought the season pass edition so I have Aiden, Mina and Wrench in my team and I tend to use them a lot for main missions, especially Mina and Wrench but for random stuff and recruitment missions I'll take anyone that seems interesting and see what mayhem I can create, it's such a cool sandbox to play around in. Definitely one of the best Ubi have made.
Watch Dogs Legion. Having an absolute blast with this, getting strong Hitman vibes with the way you can take multiple approaches to the missions with different team members and gadgets, really good fun.
It's the first ray traced game I've played and I wasn't expecting much but RT has blown me away with how much the world just feels more realised. Impressive stuff.
I'll pick through anything interesting after it's finished. I can't watch Geoff Keighley, dude creeps me out. There's something highly unsettling seeing a grown man who's dressed like a 6 year old at a wedding.
@commentlife Yeah when Loma is on his game he's amazing. His last win over Nakatani was a total schooling. Wouldn't mind seeing him rematch Teo Lopez but I'd really like to see him back at 130 to fight Oscar Valdez.
@Stocksy Yup, definitely a feeble defence but he absolutely was a part of that scene for sure, only he was beating the best Brits.
Finished Omno earlier, very chilled out game. Started The Ascent and absolutely love what I've played so far, hugely impressive that this is the first game from such a tiny dev team. Also going to fire up the PS3 for some grown-up Mario Kart, aka Blur, such a cool game! Have a good weekend all!
Hopefully they add greats like Roberto Duran, Marvelous Marvin Hagler and Julian Jackson. Great to see they have Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward in there already though and plenty of female fighters too. Really looking forward to this.
@Bleachedsmiles - Lou Dibella, Joe Deguardia and Sam Jones are listed in the game so it looks like some promotional or managerial elements might be in there.
This is awesome, bought this day one but quit after a few hours because the input buffering was utter trash. Glad they finally addressed that, everything else is gravy. Happy days!
Mostly playing Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin and I just finished Bloodroots which was brilliant fun, might make a start on Ys 8 or fire up my Vita for some Severed, not decided which. Have a good weekend all!
I'm glad they seem to be fleshing out Bill's story. He was by far the best NPC in the game for me and the entirety of Bill's Town was a real highlight of TLoU.
Shame that W. Earl Brown won't be reprising the role but I can see Con O'Neill doing a good job.
Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. Really enjoying this, part side scrolling brawler, part farming sim mashup. The combat is straight up Vanillaware so feels a lot like Muramasa Rebirth or Odin Sphere which is great and when I'm not smashing stuff to bits, I'm growing rice. Very cool game!
Mediocre for the most part. Judgment looks adequately bonkers and Jett looks pretty sweet, reminded me of a fleshed out take on Race the Sun. Those two aside it was utterly forgettable.
@mrtennis1990 - You seem to be pleased with these additions and how Sony are stepping up the PSNow releases yet in the D&D post you condemn Game Pass and urge people to buy their games. Curious.
Scarlet Nexus. Bit of a slow starter but I'm a good few hours in now and it's really starting to come together. Plays out a lot like Tokyo Xanadu eX structure wise which is cool. Tomorrow I'm playing A Way Out with a friend over on Xbox. Had it on my radar for ages so looking forward to getting stuck into it. Have a good weekend all!
@Floki - Yeah the Summer of Arcade promotion was always a highlight. XBLA and XBLIG in general were brilliant back in the day. I still fire up my 360 to play stuff like The Dishwasher 1 & 2, Weapon of Choice, Serious Sam: Double D XXL and One Finger Death Punch. Good times!
@trev666 - To be fair to Xbox it always had a strong library of indies, especially back in the 360 days with their XBLA and XBLIG support. It sort of dropped off at the start of last gen and PS4 had a good run but MS picked up again with their Id(at)Xbox programme.
Such a shame. Back when PS4 launched it was the place for indies, to the point it got dubbed the IndieStation 4. As someone who plays far more smaller titles than AAA I hate to see it go down like this.
Pffft, the stability had nothing to do with Sony removing it from the store. Let's not forget that this steaming pile passed Sony's own certification. It was because CDPR said go directly to Sony for refunds. If they hadn't pulled that stunt it would never have been taken off the store.
@LiamCroft - Contact support, they will refund the difference if you buy something that goes on sale within a day or so of your purchase. I've been refunded on two occasions when that has happened to me.
Called this as DLC when GoT came out. Makes total sense as Iki Archipelago was invaded by the Mongols a few days after they secured Tsushima. Really hope this turns out to be true.
Regardless of whatever Hulst says, day and date PC releases will happen eventually and Sony don't care what you think or do. They make little to no money from hardware sales and all the money from software. Makes perfect sense to expand their software revenue stream to PC. Good luck to them.
Mass Effect, Nier Replicant and Narita Boy. Even though I played the ME trilogy and Nier day and date on their original releases, they still wipe the floor with most new games.
Narita Boy is just brilliant. I played it on game pass and then bought it on PS4 to support the devs. Absolute gem of a game!
Immortals Fenyx Rising today and I'm about halfway through my umpteenth playthrough of Resident Evil 4 so I'll put some time into that tomorrow along with a bit of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Have a good weekend all!
Why was my comment deleted and flagged as inappropriate? There is zero evidence that Microsoft are hiding the game being multiplat and my calling that a bizarre conspiracy theory is inappropriate how? It's an absolutely nonsense claim.
@JJ2 - I know the SSD is a factor but that's a QoL thing and nothing more in this case. We were all playing every game including Souls and Bloodborne without SSD's a few months ago and the PS5's existence doesn't suddenly turn the PS4/Pro into a potato that can't possibly run this glorified PS3 game.
@Jaz007 - So some fidelity would be lost, hardly a deal breaker. At 1080p it would still look fine on PS4 and the Pro could do 1440p. As I said already, it's just a shiny PS3 game.
@TheFrenchiestFry - It's a PS3 game with a shiny coat on. Beside the resolution bump and SSD load times there's nothing there that won't be just fine at 1080p on PS4.
Not really feeling this game yet, looks like Dark Souls 4 in everything but name. Not that it's a bad thing per se, but after 4 Souls games and BB I was hoping for more of a departure. Hope it's a cracker though for those that aren't tired of the FromSoft formula.
@kingbreww - Not entirely true. The Mass Effect collection is native 4K on Series S, as are smaller games like The Touryst and Ori Will of the Wisps. Most are 1080p-1440p but it's absolutely capable of 4K.
Okay at best. Am I the only person that thinks Death Stranding DC is a bit unnecessary? I mean Kojima was given free rein for DS and he directed it. A director's director's cut, wtf?
Honestly found the Day of the Devs show better than Game Fest. Death's Door looks brilliant as well as Toem, Unbeatable and Behind the Frame. The indies have my interest far more than the big hitters.

Re: Here's Why Gran Turismo 7 Campaign Mode Requires Internet Connection
Fortunately GT6 is still an amazing game that only requires me to connect to PSN to sync trophies. I'll stick with that.

Re: Remastered Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy Collection Adventures to PS5, PC in Early 2022
@fR_eeBritney - 'They lost that light, fun aspect that made their earlier games so great and memorable'.
They lost Amy Hennig. She was the reason why the PS3 UC games were all those things.
Re: PSN Back Online After Being Hit with Account, Social, and PlayStation Store Issues
@mucc - I'm quite happy paying for XBL and PSN thanks. Always have been. What Steam does for free means absolutely nothing in the console landscape.
