@Would_you_kindly - Not at all, the monthly and daily sets plus quests alone will net you around £5 per month bare minimum with less than one hour played.

Meanwhile on Game Pass, I got Elden Ring, Steelrising and pre-ordered Callisto Protocol for £0.00p this year and still have over £100 in cash value on my account. Step it up Sony.

@Agramonte - Seems odd that they added accessibility options in Steelrising but using them disables trophies. It feels a touch disingenuous. Either make the game fully inclusive or don't bother.

Steelrising, really enjoying this. Combat is nice and snappy and their take on the stamina system is excellent. Bit janky as to be expected from Spiders but it's a solid enough game, good fun. Have a good weekend all!

Considering the Gates Foundation pumps hundreds of millions of pounds into the UK economy and government funding every year there is zero chance this will get opposed.

Working through the the new Sumeru region in Genshin Impact on PS5, on XSX I'll be finishing up my professional difficulty playthrough of Resident Evil 6 and maybe some AC Origins. Have a good weekend all!

@JudgeDredd - Same here mate, I've died from falls in the Souls series more than I have to any enemy. I'm just so used to Kassandra being able to leap off anything it's taking a while to adjust to Byek. Thankfully SSD load times ease the pain!

AC Origins. Picked up the complete edition for £9 a while back. Haven't played any of the DLC for this so looking forward to getting to that. Really enjoying playing as Byek again though after playing a load of Odyssey I find I'm killing him a lot by jumping from great heights, keep forgetting he's squishy and not Kassandra. @Would_you_kindly - Jesus dude you're just being obtuse now. Let's say you own Cyberpunk 2077 digital. You cannot download the original game on X|S, only the enhanced version. Same with digital Fifa. You can only install the digital version that is tailored to the system you're playing on because of Smart Delivery.

@Would_you_kindly - Why on earth would you download the XBO version on X|S to upgrade it when the enhanced version is already available?

Mostly I'll be battling the horrific Returnal collectible RNG. I've seen both endings now so I'll spit my time between Tower runs and reruns of the 2nd, 5th and 6th biomes. Love the game but the platinum grind is a bit much. Have a good weekend all!

@Would_you_kindly - Who mentioned buying anything? The discussion is about upgraded versions of games obtained via a service. Fifa 22 on GPU does support Smart Delivery.

@Would_you_kindly - Did you see the money change hands? MS just seem to provide the most suitable version of the game for the hardware it's played on due to Smart Delivery.

Polyphony should go all in on this type of stuff and make it playable. The Forza Horizon Lego and Hot Wheels DLC are amazing additions to those games. No reason why PD shouldn't go down that route.

@Would_you_kindly - I don't own the game on GP either, didn't stop MS making the updated version available day and date on their subscription service.

Back on Returnal, fell off it when I reached the ice biome and its obnoxious difficulty spike but I took a week or so off and saw the credits roll last night. Onwards!

Got pretty burned out after around 3000 hours of Warframe but this might just pull me back. Amazes me that Digital Extremes can add massive new areas and eventually optimize them fully and shrink the overall install size.

Then you get Bungie who have to steal your purchased add on content to stop their engine from collapsing whenever they add something new.

Day one. As someone with no interest in Ragnarok or TLoU Reremake I can't wait for this to drop. Its been a long gap since Elden Ring for a must buy title.

Mostly playing the new events in Genshin Impact. Pulled Kazuha on the banner so I'll be testing him out. Probably put a few hours into CP2077 on XSX tomorrow. Have a good weekend all!

Store credit to spend on Sony's £70 games. Got plenty of games including Elden Ring for £0.00p thanks to MS rewards and currently have about £100 worth of points just sat in my account. If Sony can compete with that then I'm in.

@frankmcma - They'll never add a new game option. Your best bet is to delete your Genshin account. Theoretically you should be able to start over after 30 days have passed.

I've never tried this as my account has been financially invested into so I can't be certain it won't just sign you back into your old account, even after 30 days. If you have no financial ties to the game though you have nothing to lose.

@TraCuz- Bit of a late reply, sorry. Managed to beat the boss last night, yeah edge of the seat stuff for sure. Onwards!

Returnal. Made it to the 3rd biome which is a massive difficulty spike over the first 2. Eventually arrived at the boss and inexplicably died during the boss reveal cutscene. Not looking forward to the fight if the cutscene can one shot me!

@PenguinLtd - Make sure to take advantage of rallying. Bloodborne uses a rally system that returns lost health. If you attack when you get hit you regain a portion of the health you lose. It can help reduce burning through your heals unnecessarily.

@huyi - Furi introduced an invincibility mode so people who found the game too difficult could complete the story. That disables trophies.

@Enuo - Where did I say it was an original take? It's just my opinion. I like GoW 2018 as a game in and of itself but I also think it's not a good GoW game. Maybe send me your email so I can run my opinions past you first eh.

Hopefully they bring back actual platforming, a jump button, aerial combat and puzzles that aren't just throw axe at thing ad infinitum. Dad of Boy was decent enough but it was an awful God of War game.

@frankmcma - I know who did what, that's why I said that MS did the heavy lifting and hopefully Ubi start patching themselves. As for the res drop it only affects AC3 remastered an FC5/New Dawn. All Ubi's other games that got FPS boost run at their native res.

Hopefully Ubi start patching more of their back catalogue for PS5. Series X has become my go to console for Ubi's games as nearly all of the AC series are 60fps on there. All the Far Cry games and the Watch Dogs trilogy too.

Granted MS did the heavy lifting with their FPS boost program but PS5 being arguably the worst place to play almost all of Ubi's games is not a good look.

@Flaming_Kaiser - To be fair the Genshin battle pass tasks are all things you do by naturally playing anyway. I absolutely get what you mean by games becoming jobs though, Genshin can get like that but I tend to hammer it then take a month or two off it.

@Flaming_Kaiser - It does have 4 daily quests that give you free currency (primogems) and battle pass xp. They take no more than 10 minutes in total to complete.

@Constable_What - Yeah I had that run of crazy luck and I'm damn sure I won't get it again anytime soon. Also sick to death of farming Geo. After building Albedo, Zhongli and Ninnguang I'm done!

Skip. Lucked out on the last banner, I got Yelan, Aqua Simulacra and Jade Spear for my Xiao in under 60 pulls. Also pulled Jean on the standard banner 21 pulls after I got a duplicate Wolf's Gravestone from it. I've got Albedo, Geo daddy and Gorou for a monster Arataki team but I doubt my luck stretches that much!

Going to start a Yakuza marathon. Finished both Kiwami games late last year so enough time has passed to begin to put a dent into the remastered trilogy. Have a good weekend all!

Looks good. Anyone looking to scratch that itch should check out Mike Bithell's Volume on PS4, it's very much inspired by the old MGS VR missions.

Was looking at buying a SCUF for PS5, have used the 4 paddle SCUF Impact for years on PS4 and it's superb. Might hold off now though to see if this is actually a thing.

Away from PS5 I've dusted off my Dreamcast to play some Metropolis Street Racer. Having a blast thrashing the Toyota MR-S through London while listening to dodgy music from Sega's in-house band. Great stuff. Have a good weekend all!

I flat out refuse to pay Sony £70 for any game so there's zero chance of me buying this price gouging reremaster. I checked my receipt for the day one digital PS3 release earlier, £39.99. That's what this should be at the most. I'll buy a preowned disc copy when it's around £15.
