It was great but the original obviously wasn't a big success despite being great and it only stands to reason the 2nd would perform wise 10 years later
Wow did you really compare PlayStation to Nintendo for pricing against PlayStation!? PlayStation games get discounted WAY better then Nintendo games where launch games still cost $60 and still only get line 25 percent off, I rarely ever bought them at full price and still won't, I'll probably pay a bit more $50 vs $40 (as opposed to $90 vs $80 in Canada) but PlayStation is stilll decent when it comes to quick discounts
Deathloop is okay but shouldn't be GOTY, for one it's a big fest, and secondly it doesn't have nearly enough level variety to stay fresh after a few days, it's a good game but Returnal and Tales of Arise should be up for GOTY before Deathloop
I think this gen it's really all about my backlogs then it is new games, definitely gonna buy some.ps5 games but my PS4 collection is pretty all consuming still, not to mention my massive steam library and Gamepass selection
Borderlands knows how to hype their games for sure, before Borderlands 3 we got free Borderlands 2 DLC, and now we get free Standalone expansion for free (epic Games store anyway)
So many glitches, also all in all the world is pretty small and starts to feel that way after going through it a few times, still an 8 for me but far from perfect
9, Really good but not the best I don't think, a little to mushy for me to call it the best especially since it's always the same types of overly mushy interactions between the two primary characters, definitely a little heavy on the dialogue side. I do miss some of the things that have now been streamlined, never realized it until I played Zestiria again in regards to equipment upgrading etc and directional combat moves.
Also really didn't like the aerial combat moves, playing on Manuel it causes a lot of lost momentum from missing and were a lot of enemies were they were pretty useless
I played at moderate and it was a decent challenge, much harder then other Tales anyway which I always crank up to Hard, I'm glad about that though, I want a challenge but not an artificially high challenge
@GREGORIAN probably, never said my opinion was universal, but with life is strange its trying to copy emotion impact which is much different then just having similar combat, emotional impact walks a fine line between genuine and manipulative and recycling the same concept is manipulative
Definately the right model used to advertise to nerdy teenage virgins, not trying to make it more appealing or anything lol, guess they just gotta embrace it by this point
Great to hear, it's about time this series started posting decent sales numbers, they deserve a large amount of financial success and they've very successfully managed to make it more mainstream while still maintaining much of the original formula.
Not gonna bother with paying more then $20 for something that's definitely gonna be on gamepass in a year though, guess it doesn't grip me nearly enough for that to change
Bandai Namco games price falls like a rocket but I couldn't help but pick it up day one, they deserve the support and the game so far has been excellent
It was fantastic, what's to criticize? There was a ton shown, I don't even understand the complainant, they showed so much, I personally have a lot of hopes and dreams like Bloodborne 2 but that's been the case for many console gens of hoping for sequals to games that may or may not get one
Waiting for Friday the 13th? Would be the right time to unveil Silent Hill...or an immediate disappointment from a smalltime shill company that literally said it started with an S and ended in an L in which case i'll be boycotting these scumbags
Good, love my tales games plenty long, and Bersaria is probably my new favorite, glad the tales series has kept improving and getting better while lots of franchises start tanking
@Octane and yet all your views are controlled by western media with no real idea what is actually happening in China other then what the bias media tells you
Tencent is by far the worst publisher in the world, just can't wait to fill any game with gotcha mechanics and microtransactions, a win for them is a loss for us all
Basically just a way of getting a microtransactions riddled would-be F2P game in the hands of more people by giving the perception this is a good generous thing and not a way to hook the easily adddicted

Re: Farming Simulator 22 (PS5) - Agricultural Effort Is Franchise's Biggest and Best Yet
So any reason for this to be annual? Like do you absolutely need to use the John Deer 2022 tractor over the 2021?

Re: Japanese Publisher Implies PlayStation Audience Is Transitioning to PC
I tend to buy PlayStation first but definitely have both PlayStation and PC, just a matter of what's cheaper and a lot of times PC games are cheaper
Re: Call of Duty: Vanguard (PS5) - More Safe But Solid FPS Action
I'll stick with cold war, WW2 setting is awful, tired of using old weapons
Re: Elden Ring Looks Awesome in 20 Minutes of Gameplay Action
@Perturbator I disagree, that's the bad noob way, it's so easy CO-OP it may as well not be dark souls
Re: Elden Ring Looks Awesome in 20 Minutes of Gameplay Action
So Dark Souls 4... Nice
Re: Bloodborne PSX Is a Cease and Desist Disaster Waiting to Happen
@SoulsBourne128 not so bad if it's only the first level, that wasn't clear on this article though
Re: Call of Duty: Vanguard's PS5, PS4 Perks Are a Bit Embarrassing
That's better then what I was assuming it would be based on the articles headline
Re: Bloodborne PSX Is a Cease and Desist Disaster Waiting to Happen
It should be shutdown, call it whatever you want it's still the full game being ported to PC without Sony's permission
Re: Chinese Open World RPG Honor of Kings Looks Mind Bogglingly Good
I shed a year whenever I hear Tencent, can't wait for microtransaction and gotcha mechanics because they're all about squeezing every penny

Forgot about how quickly this game was releasing, definitely on my list, probably a little down the line
Re: Former Dishonored Staff Bring Weird West to PS4 in January
Never heard of it but it looks awesome
Re: Talking Point: Did You Enjoy Sony's Latest State of Play Livestream?
I think it was fantastic since my expectation was that it was gonna be bad and just have indies, but as a big Star Ocean Fan I'm super happy now
Re: 'Checkmate, Lawyers' - dbrand Returns with Newly Designed PS5 Faceplates
All of this was probably faked, very clearly it's been working amazing for them

Re: Life Is Strange: True Colors (PS5) - Lame Story Saved by Great Characters
@GREGORIAN I disagree in that regard, love Bloodborne, and every once in a while I need my fix
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Deathloop?
Wasn't gonna buy it but someone was selling a brand new copy for $50, as opposed to the $80 it is in Canada in store so I bought it
Re: Tales of Arise Is the Fastest Selling Tales Game Ever, Hits 1 Million Copies in Less Than a Week

Re: Tales of Arise (PS5) - A Fantastic JRPG, and the Strongest Tales Game in a Long Time
Best in a long time...as in 5 years? Because Bersaria was excellent
