We live in an age where people who can afford to pay for privilege, do so. Simple. Whether it's buying a car(base model or top of the line), using a paid lane on the roads, or fast pass at amusement parks, buying a premium edition game over the vanilla version, or even ad-free tier on streaming platforms. People pay for privilege. Its OPTIONAL. Don't want the perks, then stay with the basic tier.

I'm sure the ps+ streaming has helped. A few people probably just grabbed the portal and a sub. Cheap way to play some ps5 games.

Make a great singleplayer farcry game with a fun multiplayer tacked on, like the olden days. Watch the money roll in.

By the time anyone releases a game based on a trend(br, hero shooters, extraction), the trend has usually passed or has its established games. Look at sony's late to the party gaas debacle.

In the states it's 3rd and 4th(premium and standard edition) on the pre-order charts. Maybe similar elsewhere. Just saiyan.

I want a killzone or resistance made for the psvr2. And some patches for cyberpunk, gta, robocop, etc., for psvr2 as well. And imagine some of the old school light gun games on psvr2. Some time crisis, house of the dead, point blank.

Love my deck. Put about 100+hrs on helldivers 2. 30+ hrs on cyberpunk. Just starting rdr 2. What I see most from detractors is "it isn't really portable." My definition may be different than theirs. I don't try to play in the car, at a restaurant, etc. It's portable-ness comes down to i can bring grand triple-A experices with me, wherever I go, with out lugging my ps5/pc, or streaming, etc. Just my deck/switch and a charger and I'm gaming like I would've at home, but elsewhere.

Those 200ish copies of lego horizon on pc must've funded quite a few games.

Days gone, hzd, tlou 1/2, dead space, silent hill 2, resident evil, soul reaver, tomb raider remasters/remakes. Baldurs gate iii, astro bot, kcd2, and other sequels.

I joined the top tier this past black Friday deals. Wanted to take a look at some of the portal streaming games and some of the psvr2 games.

After all the silliness warzone introduced, and apex and fortnite being what they are, people probably just wanted something less absurd. Went back to a free pubg with plenty of updates.

Pc users: we don't want a mandatory psn log-in.

Ps users: BABIES! THE LOT OF YA!

Ps users: ....we need a workaround for the log-in during outages!

The big complaint with the "compensation" is there are plenty of gamers affected by the outage that aren't subscribed. So this compensation means nothing to them. I understand where they are coming from.

Also, would you accept/want free food from a restaurant that gave you shyte food to begin with?
