@XenonKnight Yeah HiL was pretty meh, downloaded it through GP and well it sums up why i like GP as i'm happy i didn't waste money on it. As a shooter its ok i suppose but god the "humour" killed whatever enjoyment i could off had.

Been playing it all day and night on my Series S, its very good so its a shame its not hitting PS5.

@KundaliniRising333 I've only messed around in the open world on PS5 for a few hours but i've had zero issues. How were you playing it was it from the PS5's SSD or from an external HDD? I ask because some PS4 games have issues when played from the PS5 SSD and i know FC5 was one of them.

She was incredible as Abby, shame she suffered and still suffers so much abuse over it.

Nice to see Metroid doing well. The series is on a real high right now what with the fantastic Dread, a great remaster in Prime and Fusion making its way on to the Switch last week. Hopefully we hear more about Prime 4 this year.

Shame about Wo Long as its fantastic and its also one of the easier Soulslike as well once you get past that tough as nails first boss.

@Max_the_German Well the RED engine is a big reason why as its a difficult engine to work with hence why CDPR ate ditching it and going full Unreal 5 going forward. TW3 is also a massive RPG with tons of moving parts and systems. As for Nintendo well Pokemon S&V currently has a bug that corrupts saves and the fix is due the end of next month so they aren't flawless.

@KundaliniRising333 To be clear i only sub to the basic Plus package as i own most of the games the service offers. I use Gamepass more as an extended demo to try games i'm unsure off or play indies i might have missed normally, if i like the game i usually just buy it on PS5 soon after. All that said if i owned zero games and had to pick between the two i would pick Plus as again i find it more diverse, both have great selections though and GP does have that advantage of stuff like Starfield and Redfall coming Day 1 this year.

@KundaliniRising333 I have a Series S and i sub to Gamepass and i feel games wise Plus is better, Gamepass relies heavily on 1st party stuff, EA's output and Bethesda's output to bulk up the list. Yes they do great Day 1 releases but comparing Plus and Gamepass's libraries i feel Plus is better and more diverse.

@KundaliniRising333 I mean the reason MS gets away with 1st party day one releases is because they release so little of them, spend far less then Sony does on them and can afford to take the loss. Right now Gamepass and Plus are around equal and if the 1st party stuff like Halo and Forza isn't your thing or you don't like Bethesda's games then Plus has a clear edge.

9/10 from me. Its one of the "easier" soulslike despite parrying being my weak point but its still a good challenge with some tough fights like Lu Bu. Combat is excellent and every weapon feels unique and fun to use. Also the character creator like Nioh 2 is fantastic.

Wait so its just the Trinity and not the whole JL you play as? Lame, if it was the entire team i might have got it.

@KundaliniRising333 Why are you lying? There's no battle passes at all in the game and the game can be played offline with ease. The only monetization in the game is Sunbreak an expansion bigger then the base game and some cosmetic stuff you can easily ignore as the main game has way more then enough already. Also Rise isn't a live service.

@Wilforce Its been fine for me though i've barely touched co-op as i rushed to the end game in prep for Sunbreak, after sinking so much time into the Switch version i'm finding it quicker to hunt solo haha.

@Doublecell You're joking right? How's it held back? Its a fairly faithful remake of a Gamecube game so it being current gen only would make little sense as there's not much that could be done to justify it. Anyway visually its the best looking RE engine title yet.

@Yyy If you think the remakes Capcom are putting out are lazy then your crazy.

I will always laugh at gamers when they complain about remakes and remasters because most of them have shelfs full of Blu Rays that they owned on DVD and what they owned on VHS prior to DVD. Dude if people didn't want remakes they wouldn't sell and if you don't want them then don't buy them but don't tell other people what to do with their own money.

Just finished the demo and its excellent, visually its stunning and i like the twists they done for people who already played the original.

@Grimwood Dude the demo had Captain Boomerang speeding around like a Flash shooting people with shotguns, red flags right there.

Let's see its a 3rd person loot based shooter a very tired genre, it has a battle pass, gear scores, MTX shop, roadmaps, its always online and has its 4 characters all playing exactly the same shooting big purple glowing orbs. Its like they saw Avengers and decided to make a poor mans version of it.

@Athrum Watch them move the date to September so it can compete with Starfield and possibly Spider-Man 2.

A delay won't fix the issues we all had. Lack of polish wasn't actually an issue with the footage shown

Haven't started it yet and i think i shell just wait now for patches to hopefully sort it out.

DS soundtrack was amazing so yeah bring them back Kojima.

Thats a shame as i really liked the Aragami games.

I think the only publisher i would want Sony (and MS) to really buy is Konami because we might actually get more games then. People on here begging Sony to buy SE or Capcom are just as bad as the MS fanboys who really want MS to get Activision. As always gamers are so short sighted and don't see the harm being caused in the long run.

He's my favourite Wolverine voice actor but i'm hoping they go for someone different who can bring something something new to the role personally.

@stvevan Most likely pull a Netflix and say X amount played it despite most giving up after an hour.

@Deoxyr1bose Atlus also couldn't announce P3/P4 PS4's release until a day after the Xbox showcase and PS players also weren't allowed to pre-order them or have native PS5 versions.

The reason MS do this is to give off the impression they have more exclusives then they actually do. We know better of course but the regular joe only saw the announcement and so thinks its an Xbox game. Funny thing is with Wo Long is many on Xbox are downloading it through Gamepass, getting their butts kicked by the first boss and rage quiting, deleating it and then tanking the user reviews. Overall i think MS just thrown money away with Wo Long as its way too niche for Xbox users who are playing through Gamepass.

I feel like Bill and his love life were giving more care and attention then the biggest moment in Ellie's life prior to TLoUP2 events. Winter is when Ellie's innocence is lost, its when she fully loses her childhood and what sets her on her path going forward, Winter changes her forever and well i feel the episode let Winter down and it all felt very rushed and lacked what made the events of the game so great.

Been playing all day and its very good. Its tough but pretty fair and the parry system is actually pretty forgiving.

@Godot25 If Sony didn't do a price hike first then MS would have. What you're ignoring is this sooner or later GP will see GP only games meaning you can only play them if you sub to GP, once MS have got people used to this idea they will raise the price of GP and people will be forced to pay it if they want to play X game. This may be speculation but this is the stuff MS is known for and slowly the X1 original plan is taking hold but just coated with sugar.

@KundaliniRising333 Fair enough. I myself bought a Series S when i got a PS5 so i can play games like Starfield and the MS 1st party output, its also nice having access to 360 and OG Xbox games i haven't played in years as well.

@Green-Bandit I love how short sighted gamers are. Sony and MS buying up the gaming world is not good for us in the long run nor is it healthy for gaming. MS end goal is Gamepass and everyone on it, they're desperate for it to be on PS and Switch and its only a matter of time before Gamepass exclusive games start appearing and big price hikes for it happen and MTX become worse. This Activision deal benifits MS and MS alone and anyone who thinks otherwise is very naive.

@KundaliniRising333 You realise its 50/50 if a game runs better on Series X or not right? Hogwarts for instance runs far better on PS5. In fact you will find Series X usually has better resolution then PS5 but the PS5 has better framerates. Finally from what i've heard Wo Long performs better on PS5.

People will always stick with their "main" console i feel no matter if the other console has the better version.

Yeah i can imagine a Japanese Dev or player doesn't think of these games as JRPG's but as RPG's, it would be like i suppose them calling Mass Effect or Skyrim a "WRPG". Its very much a Western term but to be fair to us there is a massive difference between how Bioware or Bethesda make an RPG compared to how Atlus or SE make them, its a simple term and largely explains to someone in the west what the game is more or less.

@KaijuKaiser If MS buy Activation that will be it barring smaller Devs. There's a reason Disney stopped at Fox and its because they know they won't be allowed anything else at that scale. SE, Capcom, EA, Ubi, Take Two and such will be impossible to buy if they get Activision not to mention Japan has a big issue with American corps buying their Corps so i doubt they would let MS buy CC, Sega and SE.

At the very least from a visual standpoint i think the game is going to blow peoples minds and show what happens when a game is made for PS5 only and not being forced to be on PS4.

I question if this will ever hit Xbox because more and more its becoming clear the Series S can't keep up, unless MS allows Series X only releases then i wouldn't be shocked if more games skip Xbox due to the requirement of Series S versions. I love my SS but i have to admit its going to hold back Xbox a lot this Gen.

@burning_as_souls Yeah i struggled for hours on him however each fight i was getting better and now i can go back and handle him just fine. Once you get the timing right on the parrying he's not too bad its just you have to be quick and ready to learn these rules way too soon. As a first boss though yeah he's way to tough especially if you aren't good at parrying.

I'm not a FF fan with FF12 being the only one i've trurly loved but i must say i'm pretty excited for FF16, it looks amazing and sounds it and the fact its not open world is quite a relief as while its my favourite type of game i am getting burnt out on them.

@Feena Tekken 2 was hardly colourful and it even had you fight characters called Devil and Angel with dark dramatic music played over the fights. In fact Tekken has always had that edgy 90's/early 2000's over serious feel to it.
